Positive experience: Pros: clean, good variety of equipment, nice shower and locker room area Cons: awful layout! Treadmills face a wall so workouts can feel incredibly monotonous. Also having your back to the entire room can be a bit uncomfortable. Parking! Not free like the other Deneheys and hard to come by.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate how easy it is to sign up, with no hidden fees and very affordable monthly payments. There are specialized membership plans to suit different preferences, as well as a flexible pay-as-you-go option for group classes. The gym is well equipped, although I do wish they had a stairmaster installed. The equipment is consistently clean, and the changing facilities are also well maintained. The staff are incredibly energetic and friendly, which I really enjoy. I also value the free trial with a personal trainer, especially if you’re new to going to the gym, as it can be very helpful in showing you how to make the most of the machines. There is a good variety of weights and equipment, and the space is just right for comfortable movement. Overall, I am very happy with Dennehy's Penrose.

Fantastic experience: This gym is the best in the city, period. As a gym girl I am amazed at the quality and the sheer beauty of this gym. The changing rooms: clean, beautiful, elegant. There are two locker rooms, huuuuge showers and toilets. Hair straighteners along with hair dryers. The gym: huge, lot of machines, place to stretch and resistance bands. They have all the machines one can need. The place is well laid out. The membership : the membership prices are fair and you have monthly, 6 months, 1 year options. The service ‍ is kind and helpful, I called them and they answered immediately. We’ve been to a good few places in Cork and Dennehy’s beats them all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Definitely the best gym in Cork City. I use a few of the different locations they offer and I can definitely say this facility is amazing. Located nicely on the quays in Cork. The staff are amazing. The equipment is top of the range. The changing rooms and showers are very well planned out. It’s definitely my favourite. Fantastic experience: Nice staff and place, not so many machines

Negative experience: Not great to be honest…went in for my 1st day and the PT was supposes to go through my plan with me but when I asked “can you please show me each movement and watch me repeat it” he said he didn’t have time and to book in a PT session for the next time…plus, gym is too busy even early in the morning.

Fantastic experience: I joined Dennehey’s in September 2023, I’ve been there now for nearly 8 months and I am proud the call this my gym. The staff are friendly, the facilities are always well maintained and clean. There are a broad range of classes with excellent trainers. The equipment is all new and very well maintained. The gym is clean, clean, clean. The locker area is the best around with ample room and great shower facility. The prices are competitive. As far as parking, there are street spaces around, and it may take a few extra minutes to find on a really busy day, but well worth it. Thank you to the staff here, you are always professional, friendly, and attentive!
