Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I've visited with multiple injuries and have received brilliant diagnosis and rehab. A couple of months ago, I dislocated my elbow. Through multiple sessions with Patrick and Steven I have been able to regain mobility in my elbow and strengthen it up to a level to prevent the injury reocurring. I was given good rehab excercises to complete daily and received dry needling during a couple of my visits.

Fantastic experience: On waking each morning with neck stiffness and discomfort for a few months, I purchased a foam pillow from APC clinic,I've been using it for a week now and it's a game changer for me in terms of comfort and neck support. I get uninterrupted sleep and wake refreshed without neck stiffness since I've been using it. Thank you APC for great advice.

Fantastic experience: Attended Fermoy clinic after a Meniscus tear, thanks to excellent guidance from Steven, I am now completely pain free, and returning to running and golf. Fantastic experience: I did rehab on my shoulder with Patrick Hanley over a 3 months period. Last December playing rugby I dislocated my shoulder, for the year after I went through numerous rehab then re injury cycles with it and day to day, in the gym and playing it didn’t feel strong or stable. When I started with Patrick he set me goals, where I was and where I needed to be to get back playing. I am now confident in my shoulder. It’s back near the strength before the injury, through the rehab and advice he gave me.

Fantastic experience: I attended APC with Patrick & the team suffering from back pain and a severe case of tennis elbow. I recall at a point I was in so much pain with my arm that lifting a sheet of paper was difficult. I was in so much pain that I was giving surgery serious consideration. Patrick and his team brought me in for a round table review and I’m so glad he convinced me to preserve with my physio treatment. By working through the mental block I had developed in using my arm to avoid pain, he worked with me to figure out my limits. Fantastic experience: I have been attending APC for over a year now for Pilates. I had terrible aches behind my knees & in my lower back before starting the classes. Now (while Im still no expert at the moves) I find I've gotten more mobile and I can crouch with my small ones without huffing in pain. Fantastic experience: I am heading into my 4th year of Pilates with Stephen in Fermoy. I am really enjoying them, there is different levels to suit everyone which I like. The introduction of weights has also been a great addition. I also like the fact that Stephen always asks if anyone has any injuries so they can be catered for.

Fantastic experience: Started weekly physio guided classes here about 8 months ago after presenting with a bit of lower back trouble. I haven't looked back since excuse the pun. It's become part of my weekly routine and has helped massively with my lower back issues and generally flexibility. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient of APC PSYCHO&SPORTS CLINIC I had a problem with my shoulder blade, I did not receive such good and professional care anywhere, quick help and above all effective. Qualified team and very friendly and nice. After the suggestion from a physiotherapist I signed up for Pilates classes and it was a good idea, I have been attending for 2 years and I forgot about any pain . My body is stronger, more flexible, I am happy, I attend each class with great joy. What is important to me is that the classes are led by qualified physiotherapists and I feel taken care of and safe throughout the classes. All staff are extremely helpful especially Cathrine who sits at the front desk and helps with any inquiries, she is very nice and always willinging to help. Fantastic experience: 10 months post-operation for ACL reconstruction I was directed towards Patrick and the team at APC physio. I had been struggling greatly with the recovery and was still months away from returning to play. Patrick actively listened and engaged with my every concern and delivered a comprehensive, structured program by the end of the first half hour with him. The team at APC physio were brilliant at every step and I have seen massive progress with a return to play imminent. I would absolutely recommend APC physio to anyone suffering from injury or rehabilitation, and I firmly believe that had I come across APC physio earlier, I would long since be back playing football.

Fantastic experience: Long overdue review! It’s been +6 months since my last appointment. I got my treatment from Steven this time around for a lower back pain and remnants of a shoulder injury, but the attention and focus on my well-being was exactly the same as my previous visit a while back. Steven was very professional and thorough in explaining how to do both my recovery and maintenance exercises. What I liked the most was that, besides my treatment plan, I also got an exercise plan to help me grow in my fitness journey. I'm now back to my normal gym routine, and even lifting heavier weights without any issues! I know where to go if I encounter any problems, APC is a fantastic physio clinic. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I broke my arm last summer (radius and ulna fracture ) and started going to APC Physio in October of 2023. As a dancer, I was really eager to make a full recovery and to get back to dancing ASAP. My practitioner was Mr Steven Gilmore, who happened to have the exact same injury and surgery as me. Steven is so kind and professional, he always made me feel comfortable and at ease during our sessions. His knowledge is evident and he is extremely thorough in his process, which was very reassuring. After 7 months and 12 sessions with Steven, my arm is almost completely back to normal and I have all the tools I need to make a full recovery. I’m so glad I trusted him with my injury as I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Steven and the APC Physio & Sports Clinic in Cork City.

Fantastic experience: Really happy with my first visit to APC. I booked a sports massage with Craig to free up my legs as I begin to increase running mileage. Craig was really pleasant and professional. Assessed where the worst feelings of tightness were and again at the end of the appointment to check if all felt ok. Would really recommend APC

Fantastic experience: I had a free consultation and found them to be very honest and I didn’t feel obligated to sign up for a series of sessions, I would highly recommend APC.

Positive experience: I had a nice experience with both Craig and Patrick. They both listened and evaluated my back pain extensively. Initially I not only had back pain, but also pain in my buttock, my adductors... I was in bits as one would say. Through exercises and stretches and some hands on treatment, some of my problems were eradicated. Unfortunately, I still deal with some back pain at times but I go back to the exercises and stretches given to me and get some relief that way. Back pain is very complex and highly individual in my opinion. I would definitely recommend the clinic for anybody in need of physiotherapy treatment.

Fantastic experience: It’s taken me ages to get around to writing this review. I had chronic neck pain and restricted head movement. After 3 sessions I am better than ever and a very simple exercise a few times a week. Only regret was that I didn’t go sooner. Thanks so much

Fantastic experience: I visited Patrick in APC back in June 2023 with an Adductor Tendonitis injury from running from the previous October. I knew it was a very slow to rehab injury but I had been to another physio for 6-months with no improvement and I was not happy and he did not seem confident in a recovery without medical intervention. I was in pain all day and night in the groin and pelvis, the mood was low and fitness levels were dropping rapidly as I could not do anything and I had been racing half marathons and other distance races all along so it was a serious downer. From day 1 Patrick was confident of getting a recovery and be able to return to training pain free. I had to put in some hard work at home every day (this is key to recovery)and follow his rehab program given to me at each session but it paid off. I was given realistic spaced out appointments to give me a chance to carry out recovery at home for a period of time with the exercises provided. After each session there was consistent improvement in the rehsb and I was training and pain free by Christmas 2023. Unluckily for me I managed to pick up 4 other injuries while working on returning to running training, a big toe injury, which led to an injury in the joint where the foot joins the leg, followed by Plantar Faciitis and a shoulder injury thrown in for good measure! Patrick was confident of getting these all sorted as the list grew! Each session I came away with improvements straight away and I had plenty of practical exercises to go home with to increase the chance of a quicker and successful rehab. I am now training and pain free in all the injuries except for the Plantar Faciitis but after being told by many that I would need special moulded implants and no chance of fully recovering, I am making big improvements weekly with the rehab and I am hoping to be returning to running training shortly. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Gets to the problem, causes and root and checks in and makes sure everything is ok even afterwards. He got me back into the gym properly after relieving my back pain from work. Fantastic experience: I attended the Movement Revolution class with in the Clayton hotel with Patrick as I had started to develop lower back pains/strains... I found the class extremely beneficial. All the movements were explained very well as to how to them and why we were doing them. The class touched on strength training, flexibility and mobility along with a few practical yoga flows.... Patrick was able to provide corrective feedback very quickly and was always enthusiastic and encouraged you to progress. I found this class perfect as it not only addressed by back issues but also engaged all the muscles around my back so I felt noticeably stronger and flexible in general after a few weeks. The mobility exercises were always fun and the atmosphere of the class was friendly and informal. The class was a perfect balance of being just challenging enough but at the same time it flew by each week. Which is a good sign. After being inactive for 12 months I feel as though this class was the perfect springboard to getting me back on track as it helped establish a very solid foundation. Would highly recommend, especially to any new fathers.

Fantastic experience: I took the APC Thursday class in The Clayton each Thursday and I would thoroughly recommend it. I am at my desk during my working day and these classes were really valuable. They incorporate Pilates, Strength Work and Flow. They go at a really nice pace and the environment is very relaxed. The leader of the class is very thoughtful in his approach and explains each exercise and what part of the body it impacts. Nice bunch of people in the class also.

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with a bulged disc at L5/S1 position and was experiencing extremely severe sciatica pain, unable to walk, stand or do any normal activities. I was referred to APC physio by my insurance and I am very thankful that I was referred to APC physio. Patrick was absolutely phenomenal in helping alleviate my pain. He analyzed the situation and proactively provided me appropriate guidance to manage the pain and getting back to normal. I can clearly say that he has a ton of experience in this and everything he suggested worked really well. In every physio session, he would work through the muscles in my back and the leg to relieve the pain, analyze what works best and would suggest the stretches based on that. I found this strategy extremely helpful. He always puts in that extra effort either to help me in contacting the consultant or to explain my situation clearly and by showing pictures/ videos to give me the right perspective of the problem and the solutions. I am now able to walk, run, perform everyday activities without any pain and I feel I am definitely back to normal. My progress within a span of few weeks is truly unbelievable! I would highly recommend APC physio to my loved ones and friends without a doubt! I am very thankful to Patrick for his excellent services and I wish him and the APC Physio team all the very best!

Fantastic experience: I recently had sessions with Patrick here at APC. He was very thorough and certainly knows his stuff. I had constant, but mild, back pain and wanted to address it before it became a problem. Through a range of exercises and dry needling, I’ve been able to sort it. Patrick listens to how you’re progressing between each visit and tweaks the types of treatment as needed. He also offers great tips and advice for posture and breath work to incorporate into workout routines.

Fantastic experience: After 5 years of back pain after pregnancy and taking pain relief medicines i really do wish i had gone to APC sooner. Luckily enough on one of my visits my back pain had flared up and was pretty painful during my second pregnancy and within a few minutes with a few simple movements Patrick had taken that pain away. I really was blown away. I went from wanting to cry to laughing. I couldn’t understand how easy it was to stop the pain. I understand where my pain is coming from now and i have learned more ways to manage that pain. I would highly recommend if you have been struggling with pain regularly just bite the bullet and go try physio because it really does work. On my very first visit i felt validated after years of going to doctors and being left feeling like it wasn’t taken seriously enough, Patrick had reassured me and understood the problem instantly. Fantastic experience: Fantastic to the point, very clear progressions and on topic recommendations, for me skateboarding was also factored during the physiotherapy which made it much more suited for me.

Fantastic experience: After visits to two other practitioners and given various exercises, I was still no better. I had terrible hip pain, shoulder pain, back pain and I wasn't sleeping. I went to Patrick at APC physio. Patrick listened and took into consideration both physical and emotional issues. I had lost both of my parents a few months previous and had been caring for them prior to that. Patrick felt I was still running on adrenaline, waiting for the worst to happen, it had become a pattern. Patrick showed me how to belly breathe and by checking in with myself at regular intervals during the day and belly breathing. It was like zanax without the zanax, calm, it will all work out. He gave me two very simple exercises to do at home plus the belly breathing. I had to text him the following day to tell him I had had the most restful nights sleep in 4 months. In my opinion he's magic.

Fantastic experience: I am very glad I went to get help from Patrick for my lower back problems and would highly recommend him. I have had these muscle spasm issues on and off for years and had limited success in alleviating them with chiropractors and message. Patrick gave me some exercises to do and insights into posture and walking dynamics that succeeded in completely alleviating my pain and giving me the tools to avoid them coming back again or managing them when they do. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend APC Physio from my own experience over the last 6 months. I initially went to Patrick with a tear in my quadricep tendon towards the end of the season with a few games to go. Once the season had ended, I started on a 5-phase recovery program. This is known to be a difficult injury to treat and get right again, and I went from initially having very little mobility and strength (And a lot of pain) to being able to get back full at 100% on the pitch just 4 months on from the initial injury. The experience combined with thorough knowledge and expertise that Patrick has is invaluable in my opinion. Going through each phase of the programme he provided insight and clarity in everything we did throughout the process. The clear demonstration and understanding of each exercise, session, phase, etc was very reassuring all throughout. Discussing the injury and why we are doing the specific exercises really helps a lot and is crucial to help the process. I can definitely say that I am in a much stronger position now than I was even before the injury thanks to Patrick and APC. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking to improve physically whether it’s strength, speed, agility, flexibility or if remedying a current or existing injury. I just want to thank Patrick again; I am very grateful for everything.

Fantastic experience: I had some sort of muscular pain on left side upper chest area. Patrick listened carefully and listed out all the issues and created a plan to tackle each. I've dealt with Patrick, Stephen and Luke for separate injuries and all of them were great to deal with, very knowledgeable and really helpful with the recovery and rehab process.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended the APC Clinic in Fermoy to address a knee injury. I was assigned to Luke Gibbins CAT who assessed my injury and prescribed an exercise programme for me to carry out at home. On follow up visits Luke was very helpful and listened to my feedback in regard to exercises that suited my level of ability and adapted them when needed. Overall a very professional service and glad to say my injury has now resolved. Thanks to Luke and the Team in APC
