Negative experience: Don't use the venting machine it didn't give me the drink and I paid for the drink and the drink didn't come out and they didn't care there is also no jacuzzi and the water is freezing

Negative experience: Took two payments from my account after freezing/cancelling my account and they refused to give a refund of 100€ to me as a student and it was my last bit of money to get me through the week. I called and had back and forth emails with the gym but no one was willing to help me out and I’ve just been told over and over again that I can’t get a refund. This is honestly embarrassing from a big company not being able to pay back a student their own money for a membership they have not used or paid for in the last two months. Joke of a company

Negative experience: Pool last few weeks particularly has been very cold, met friends there yesterday and we all left the pool after 30 mins children's lips were going black. Really need to adjust the temperature accordingly. Actively looking for another pool. Which is a shame.

Negative experience: I don’t ever bother with reviews but in this case I’m bothered. Just showed up for a 10.30am class. Spent 10mins prior to this trying to get into their car park. I made it to the reception desk at 10.32am to book into the class and was told the teacher wouldn’t let me in because I was late . Seriously?? I drove 30mins to get there and just had to turn around and go home. Was trying this class out as a trial before signing up monthly. Will definitely be taking my custom elsewhere. Only giving 1 star as there’s no option for ZERO.

Positive experience: Parking is non existing on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Negative experience: Pool is grand - no proper showers, family cubicles are impossible with a baby- no other choice but to put the baby on the floor to get dressed. Pool times for family swims are very limited - schools/lessons take up most daily hours which is very disappointing. Tried to ring for an hour in advance to check if the baby pool is still available during school lessons but phone was engaged constantly.

Positive experience: The pools are fine and the family changing cubicles are good, but there are no proper showers!! It's crazy! There's nowhere to have a proper wash after a swim! The only showers are in full view of the pool so you can't get undressed there, and the family showers are open to anyone coming in. Major oversight!

Fantastic experience: I drove in heavy traffic for 5 hours to attend meetinga and talks just outside Naas. When I arrived I googled swimming pools near my, to find KLeisure was available to just go for a once off swim.€8 later and shower swim, and shower again. I arrived to my meetings feeling well and truly refreshed. Super facility,.clean pool and showe and changing area. Delighted to have found it

Negative experience: Honestly the staff at front of house are not all pleasant.. it baffles me when people are that miserable in their job! The Aqua aerobics teachers are super, Carlos especially! I would give the guys teaching the class 5 stars , but unfortunately, the front of house staff weigh down the review !!! As for the cleanliness in the changing rooms … defo more often is needed ! Much prefer Newbridge gym, just this one has a pool!!

Positive experience: Amenities are great, but it's usually very crowded. Try to visit during school/work hours.

Negative experience: I've been using this pool for several years now and the service is getting worse and worse. The dictatorship imposed and the language used by the lifeguards are reminiscent of the 39-45 era in France, people at that time had more freedom of speech. The overall state of the floors is catastrophic, even around the pools and in the changing rooms, which haven't seen a mop since the end of the English colonial era, the toilets where even a street dog wouldn't dare put its hindquarters on them... Parents are asked to sit 30 meters away from the children's pool to, and I quote, "keep out of the way for lifeguards circulation", whereas the lifeguard can't see a drowning child two meters away from him. The bathroom for persons in needs is 100% guaranteed to give you tetanus if you step into it and you're vaccinated, and there are no real facilities for babies, even though the pool welcomes hundreds of them every week. I'm going to keep this short, because persistence is pointless, but it's time this pool's management start to take care of its customers. Please, provide real facilities for families, choose quality staff who enjoy doing their jobs, get out of your offices and open your eyes to the reality of things.

Negative experience: Met at reception by extremely rude and condescending duty manager who was intent on patronising and belittling me as a customer. Have made formal complaint and await response. This is particularly disappointing as prior to this have always had a good and pleasant experience at this leisure centre and the classes are very good.

Negative experience: We visit the gym on a weekly basis and my children use the baby/children’s pool while I stand on deck and oversee their leisure time. Arrived on Saturday morning to take my two children for their weekly swim (second time of the week as we were there on Tuesday evening). The lady at reception abruptly told me that the children would not be allowed in without myself in the pool with them and continued her escapade of rules and regulations while my children were extremely upset beside me. This has never been the case before (in my own experience) and if those rules are true then, staff need to be on the same page as two children have been left extremely upset and cannot understand why they are not allowed into their normal leisure pool. There was no apology or compassion for the children and the lady in question cut me off to continue having her cappuccino and chat with her friend on the other side of the desk.

Positive experience: Parking can be an issue some weekends but swim academy for kids and leisure facilities are great

Positive experience: Nice gym, regular member. It is way too hot though. Seems there is no aircon and its always busy so way too hot. Theres not enough floor space for the amount of people...even at offpeak times.

Positive experience: Visited with the kids, but had to take my 3 year old out earlier as she was freezing. We have been a couple of times and same thing, i thing the pool should be a little warmer as i seen a fee kids chittering in the water

Positive experience: The pool area is great, well organized, family rooms available, the temperature of the water needs to be 1 degree more so it would be great for the kids. They also need private showers in the pool area. The gym is very modern and the equipment are very new but the whole gym is very small, always feels very crowded.

Negative experience: Complete scam of a company. I was in town for a short period, made sure it was known that I would be leaving town a month ahead of time. They acknowledged my cancellation. I blocked my card as I was leaving town just in case and, sure enough, the next month there was an attempted charge. They then tried to charge again day after day for five days and stopped. 19 days later, they charged again (for services I couldn't even use if I wanted to, as they suspended my account) and refused to refund the account, instead "doing me the favor" of cancelling my account for the next month. Only recourse seems to be filing a chargeback with my bank.

Negative experience: No clear instructions regarding when you need to cancel your membership! I was never told that I have to give 28 days notice in advance and I decided to cancel a few days before the end of the month from their app that they have been encouraging everyone to download and use! There was an option of cancelling the membership and it didn't mention that you have to give 28 days notice in advance until you receive the email which says that your membership will end at the end of the next month! Obviously, you can't do anything for that any more! As a business, you should be more clear about that from the beginning and also mention it before someone hits "Cancel my membership". To me, it's just another sneaky way to earn more money. I find it very unprofessional. Regarding the gym experience, there was a lot of the times that I was struggling to find a car space and the gym was extremely busy between 6- almost 8. Couldn't do a proper work out as there was no space to stretch or use any machines. 1 star mostly because of unclear instructions and not able to give me a refund.

Fantastic experience: Use the facilities weekly and our boys do swimming lessons the last 2 years they have went from not being able to swim to being very confident and good swimmers the coaches are lovely My only issue is alot of the showers are broken for after your swim so they definitely need to be fixed but otherwise brilliant and staff are so helpful and friendly especially at the reception desk :)

Good volume of parking outside, with athletics and hockey facilities also. All it’s missing is a squash court!

Fantastic experience: Great facility for swimming lessons. I would recommend to all who are looking to enrol their children into swimming lessons. Tip: get there 10min prior your lesson it will save you hassle looking for empty changing rooms especially if you have more than one child attending the lessons.

Positive experience: This is a very inclusive gym with excellent facilities. The staff is lovely and always helpful. The pool can get crowded with classes so check the schedule. There is a sauna and a steam room. The facilities are clean and well maintained by a hard working janitorial staff. A lot of the classes are virtual and it would be nice to have proper yoga and Pilates classes on offer. Overall an excellent facility.

Negative experience: Great facility, but unfortunately we have had a very negative experience (over the last year with one trainer) in relation to incredibly poor quality, unpleasant swimming lessons being provided to one of my children, and so far there has been zero appetit to resolve the issue from K Leisure. I will update according as things play out.

Positive experience: Pool is fabulous. Read a few comments on how salty it is, but it was only a little bit salty, due to the cleaning treatment. Dropped a star due to the water on the floor in the family changing rooms. Quite disappointing. No drainage at all. The lockers are also crazy narrow. Had to beat me bag in. Overall really good tho.

Fantastic experience: I will give five stars because of staff friendliness and cleanliness, however the equipment is a small bit dated and when the gym is busy it can feel pretty cramped. Waits for benches and racks can be quite long at times when this is the case so hopefully it will improve.

Negative experience: Went to the gym to get some info before signing up. All we got is “you should look on the website as we have all the plans and prices up there”. That was fine. We asked for a quick tour as we also wanted to check the premisses before anything else and the receptionist asked us to have a sit that she was going to check with the manager. 30 minutes passed with no words from neither. I understand that the gym was busy but still, does not justify leaving someone waiting for that long. A refusal would’ve been better. As amazing as the gym could be would not recommend for the poor customer service and the lack of interest in potential new members.
