Negative experience: I didn't really want to write this review, but I feel it's necessary for the sake of vulnerable people. I've been using these facilities for several years to support service users, and never before has a carer been required to pay for themselves. Today, I encountered a very rude manager who showed a complete lack of respect for individuals with special needs. I brought two service users along with a staff member to help them in the water, especially since lifeguards aren't always present. Despite explaining that I had never paid for carers before, I ended up paying extra for the staff member. When I returned to work, I discovered that other staff members who were at the same location on Saturday hadn't been charged for their carers. It seems unreasonable for the rules to change overnight without any communication. On behalf of non-verbal individuals and those with autism who can't advocate for themselves, I must express my frustration. If it was up to me l wouldn't be going back to this place ever again

Positive experience: Have used the pool here only. Good size pool, staff on reception very friendly. Changing rooms are very dated however and could really do with a refresh

Positive experience: Such a great asset with a good range of equipment available. The staff are all so friendly. I use it primarily for the pool and the sauna. Unfortunately I can’t give 5 stars as the place needs so maintenance for sure, for example the steam room which never seems to work these days.

Negative experience: I would like to leave a review — more of a suggestion, really. The gym is very dirty, and there are no hooks in the changing room; some lockers don’t even close properly. People don’t change their shoes after coming in from the street and use the stretch mats while wearing dirty sneakers. Some machines have been out of order for quite a long time — it would be great to add more equipment. One of the benches is in poor condition and not functioning properly.

Negative experience: Worst gym I’ve ever been to. Machines are in really bad conditions, it’s hard to even change the weight in them, even the dumbbells are so old that if you’re not careful you’ll cut yourself (happened to me a couple of times), some machines are out of order for over a year and there are no signs of them getting fixed. There is not a single person to help with anything or ask any questions. The place is generally filthy and if you go after 3pm, you’re gonna be waiting to use everything for at least 10min at a time.

Negative experience: The gym area is ok ,over crowded machines and not organized well but for a hotel gym it's ok not like practical everyday gym The pool area is fine but needs cleaning The sauna and steam always crowded The changing room needs some work and Overall is ok but in my opinion need major upgrades

Positive experience: Literally the only thing that I don't like about the gym is that there is no fair usage policy. People will just leave their phones or towels by a weight machine to claim it and you sometimes have to wait up to 1/2 an hour for your turn. Other than that, it is a great gym but the lack of awareness of some of the users is quite frustrating for me

Negative experience: Used to be a member and loved it but gave it up due to bad health. Returned today and didn't like it one bit. Place has been revamped and not a nice lay out. Definitely wouldn't go back there and definitely wouldn't recommend it. 1. To many weights 2. Using treadmill youve nothing to look at or listen to. 3. To warm in the gym 4. No parking 5. Poor staff 6. All the rooms i.e foot baths, salt room, relaxing room., snow room etc are not part of membership no more. Alot has changed for the worse I could keep going on. Also pool is freezing cold

Fantastic experience: My daughters used to do swimming lessons and they loved it with Fiona and i started adult swimming lessons with her as well, she is really amazing at her job. she teaches me how to swim and she is very experienced and she has a lot of patience with learners, and she has a good observation for every single details, and she watchs all learners one by one ,also tells them the technique and does not stop until everyone knows. I highly recommend you do swimming lessons with Fiona and you will not regret it. I can't wait until next September so I can finish with her.

Negative experience: Very dirty gym, no staff upstairs, not even one window! It was 40 degrees and smelling very bad

Fantastic experience: Nice and peaceful really enjoyed.

Negative experience: First time here, but never ever again. A little boy was drowning at 19:20pm today. Check your cameras as this could be fatal if we didn't notice him. There was no lifeguard at the pool. This place is so tiny, not the cleanest, very unorganised, pool is freezing cold and dangerous.

Negative experience: Some good staff but also some very poor staff place could be a bit cleaner

Negative experience: Equipment and facilities all run down, out of date or just straight up broken. Ok for a hotel gym, but needs a major update if you would want to use it as your personal full time gym

Fantastic experience: Having being a member of this club for a few years now, I felt it was time to recognise for me the person who is such a people oriented person herself and knows all the clients on a first name basis. She is so friendly and efficient ,if there was a employee of the month I would nominate Ann Clarke. I have been a member of a few leisure clubs over the years and Ann to me is the most friendliest.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the leisure centre with my almost 2 year old . The facilities were fabulous and the staff were particularly warm and very helpful. The first woman Ann i met was extremely friendly and helpful. We throughly enjoyed ourselves.
