Fantastic experience: I have been a member in NRG since 2017. I love the atmosphere and the recent updated gym equipment. I also really love the new women's only gym section! I left for over a year while travelling and decided to rejoin when I got back because I really enjoy the vibes there!

Fantastic experience: The setup in NRG Health and Fitness makes it a joy to go to the gym. Even at peak times there is plenty of equipment and space with a relaxed vibe and friendly staff. There is also a women's only area which is a lovely addition and the pool and sauna area is gorgeous. The changing rooms are always spotless and there is a cozy reception area to chill after your session. I wish I joined here sooner!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for about ten years because I love the fact that NRG fitness has all of my fitness and relaxation needs under the one roof! There's a pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, as well as two gyms (one is female only) and lots of classes to choose from. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have been a long time member of NRG and can highly recommend the health and fitness facilities provided in this gym.Im Involved in sport myself and it's great to meet many people here who are involved in other sporting codes and have a bit of banter in the mornings.The staff are friendly, professional and most helpful and make all members feel at ease and relaxed in their surroundings.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym about six years ago. I was in my mid 40s and had a health issue to deal with. It was the second gym I had joined. The first gym I joined was bigger, impersonal, and I only went twice in three months. NRG, though, was super friendly. Every time I came in to the gym, staff greeted me by name. That’s what kept me coming back and helped me to build a healthier life. My kid enjoys the summer camps too.

Fantastic experience: Besides being a friendly place, the staff is amazing very helpful and always smiley, I personally continues to come here because of the incredible memes/videos they post on social media ahahahahahah that’s the best way EVER to make us laugh and engage at the gym! Thank you guys, I used to hate gym but you made me create a different perspective of this place!

Positive experience: Good equipment in the gym but little to no instructor presence in the main gym to ensure good gym etiquette or if have questions on how to use equipment or want to raise issues. Slow in repairing broken equipment .

Positive experience: Very busy this morning at 11am couldn't get my proper swim in.

Negative experience: The gym itself is pleasant, clean, friendly staff and nice environment. But the pool is cold, the steaming room and sauna is extremely small, the equipment is old and I’m having a hard time, crying to get out as a member after 2 weeks of experience in Cork. I don’t want refund, I just wish to get out with no cancellation fee. So if someone there see my review, please contact me. As I tried to sort at the desk with no results. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time getting membership but this time with all family . The place itself is great . Has everything you need, from jacuzzi to hydro massage. There is sauna and steam room. The best thing about it is the atmosphere that people working there make. Friendly and very competent. Family fitness at its best.

Great to have a gym that looks after all it’s members, being a girl it can be very easy to get intimidated in a gym, NRG has put in a lot of thought and effort to make a safe environment for all to do their bit it’s got all you need and brand new equipment, staff always happy to help especially Roman, Tom Ashling and Angela with advice a word of encouragement and a huge smile

Negative experience: Not worth the money. The showers and changing rooms are dirty and smell funky. General lack of mantainance.

Positive experience: Generally good, but some of the maintenance, and cleanliness in the dressing rooms and showers could be improved on. The pool is well kept and pleasant to use, the gym is above average

Positive experience: Great gym, feels very modern and up to date with pretty fresh equipment. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. It is a bit pricey but it feels like it earns it. Central location is convenient with plenty of parking underground. Only downside would be that it can get really crowded. They do their best to compensate with extra facilities but it doesn’t seem to work. Overall would recommend.

Negative experience: If you are looking for a place for swimming: don't go. The pool is used by hotel guests, people who want to swim and for children swimming lessons. - all at the same time. This means 3 swimming lanes: A bigger one for the kids only and the other two you have to share with people swimming, members and hotel guests. When we started, kids would have lessons until 5:45pm only, so we changed our schedule to go later on to make sure there were enough space to swim. Now, classes go from 2 pm until 6:45. So we moved to Saturday and we were told there were classes until 3pm. Last Saturday there were classes until 8 pm. So, if you wanna pay to be able to swim only on Sundays or to go for swimming and have to wait to be able to do so, join it. The kids are also packed in the swimming lane (around 10 of them in one swimming lane only). Summing up it looks like they care only about money and by adding swimming classes for children for more and more slots all the time, they get it. Staff is very kind, nothing to complain about them.

Fantastic experience: Was previously a member of both Leisureworld gym and Meteropole Hotel gym. When I saw that NRG Health & Fitness stayed open til 10pm at night and had a swimming pool I felt it was worth looking into. Don't get home from work til roughly 8.45pm depending on certain shifts. I was certainly not disappointed with NRG. It has everything you need in a good gym. Plus having a swimming pool is vital for me to keep up my swimming training on those cold winter nights. Still prefer the sea but at least no Jellyfish. One of the biggest assets that NRG possess is the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Only draw back I would have is they tend to shut down at about 9.40sh so for me whose trying to get that last bit out of the wonderful facilities after my swim like the Jacuzzi or Sauna etc it can be slightly annoying. I would still give it a 5 out of 5 which is the highest appraisal I could give any gym I've been to. The kind staff and positive attitude in there helps give you a lift. Was only in there today and was chatting with one member of staff 5 mins who genuinely was asking how my outside training was continuing. Strongly recommend NRG Fitness. Also many of the fitness classes come with the membership.

Positive experience: Good gym, with a swimming pool (not with a great bassin, but it's clean), sauna and hammam. The gym machines are great and lessons are really cool and fun. It's really expensive because I payed the full price for a full access for 3 months with 200€.

Negative experience: Never pay in full your subscription, I have lost 249€ on the 299€ paid: I went to inform them that I have to leave Ireland to take care of my father and kindly asked to get refunded of the month I did not use( 5 months) on the 6 months contract. The lady at the reception kept repeating that it was not possible because I have 14 days to change my mind.... Lady, Eldery’s health is not a “ change my mind” topic it is something which cannot be forecast. I am really disappointed by the poor customer service from this gym, if I knew I would have paid on a direct debit to be able to stop the payment. What a shame!

Positive experience: I use this place for swimming : I am quite satisfied: but the changing room is quite small though, and during the peak hours is assaulted by the guys from the upstairs gym. Staff members are professional. The position is convenient
