Positive experience: American shower its pain. And its working not well. Its 4 gym for year and 4th time disapointed. Gym+ (Naas) Maldron (Tallaght) BD gym Harolds cross and now Westpark. Why manadgement do not close gym onse a month for bloody sanitary day? (to make general cleaning not only supporting tide ups) Go to Scandinavia, Eastern Europe or Russia chek it out how it goes. Working hours its pain 2. Staff less gyms is everywhere now, comon. Wthey block risky zones and left gym basic run 24/7. Hey its 2025/2026. 3 stars instead 4 it's for staff and equipment. But wash it please.

Negative experience: Quickly losing even more confidence in this place meeting basic member needs. Locker room constantly in a state, grips on machines perishing in the hands, filthy dumbbells, cable accessories at end of life. Biggest kicker though, not a single fan in the weight sections but investment to have a robot running about doing nothing but hold tissue and bottles?....

Negative experience: I used to love this gym but have had a few incendencs now where staff have been rude and unprofessional to the point where I no longer want to go but will continue to go until my membershipis is up. Also gone far too expensive. It is a pity as i always loved it here and love the classes.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of westpark for about 6 years & love it so much. The gym itself has the best equipment. I've been a member of other gyms & westpark is definitely the best gym in tallaght. The pool area is lovely with jacuzzi, cold plunge & sauna/ steam room. I love using this after my workout. I use myzone heart monitor to train which motivates me with all my workouts & love seeing how I progress each week. The staff are so friendly & always so welcoming to their members. The monthly membership is expensive but I believe you pay for what you get. I love westpark gym & would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks westpark team for everything

Negative experience: Here right now, one of the hottest days of the year and no AC or even any cheap fan in the weight section. Questioning why im bothering paying extra for this place. Joke.

Fantastic experience: Excellent space, the equipment is good and varied, everything is very well maintained and clean, the pool has equipment and a TV for water aerobics that you can do at any time is really a differentiator, in addition to the jacuzzi and the ice pool, which is wonderful, in the women's and men's bathrooms there is a dry sauna and steam room, which are excellent and very clean, I love everything about this gym, the staff are very friendly and helpful, congratulations to everyone involved.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Westpark Gym for approx 20+ years. In all that time the staff, classes, equipment and other gym members have been top class. There is always a genuine warm welcome a a great vibe about the place. I am in NO way a gym bunny! just a normal person trying to stay reasonable fit and healthy (and to try keep the weight off)LOL Its a gym at the top of its game. Constantly making improvements to equipment, classes etc. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of trying to get back into fitness or those that might be looking to improve their fitness. I promise the staff will help you achieve your goals, they are a great team and are very helpful. Thanks to all the staff and members over the 20+ years who have managed to keep me motivated and still reasonable fit (for an ole fella!!!!) Cheers James

Fantastic experience: I wanted to reach out to sincerely apologize for how everything unfolded last week at the gym. I understand how my actions appeared, and I realize it was upsetting for everyone involved. First, regarding the jacuzzi incident: I assure you I was not engaging in any inappropriate behavior. I was simply scratching an itch and didn’t realize it might be misconstrued. I regret if my movements gave the wrong impression, and I wish I’d had the chance to explain in the moment. Secondly, I also want to explain what happened in the showers afterward. I was feeling extremely upset and embarrassed, and unfortunately, I experienced sudden and uncontrollable diarrhea. It was not intentional, and I am deeply sorry for any mess and inconvenience this caused your staff and members. I should have informed someone immediately, and I regret handling the situation poorly. I truly value the gym and was looking forward to being a member. I’m writing to ask if it’s possible to reconsider my membership status, or at least discuss a partial refund given the circumstances. Thank you for your understanding, and I’m happy to discuss this further if you’re willing.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, even better coffee shop, with super friendly staff.

Negative experience: Used to be great, has gone downhill very quickly over the past couple of months. At the moment with the hot weather, the building is impossible to workout in either because the air con is off or simply not working. I get that AC can break sometimes, but at least put some fans around the place. It's dangerously hot for some people who might not know when to stop. Machines and equipment is coming to the end of its life judging by how they can be out of order so frequently, this is an issue if there is only 1 piece of equipment that isn't repaired for weeks. Some staff need to have a look around the floor rather than huddling in groups chatting also, small things like refilling the hygiene stations, pulling blinds where sun is blasting in people's faces, equipment just lying around the ground, soap refills in sinks, hand sanitiser stations, its basic stuff that can give a big improvement & It's not like there's no staff around. The hygiene team themselves seem great when they're around, but outside if the hours.... Im on an annual membership, so I'll run that out but I'm hard pushed to renew to be honest, the price doesn't reflect the value in comparison to others.

Negative experience: Absolute zero. The gym is overcrowded but charging three times normal membership fee without providing any additional value. Not enough machines to work out on. You always have to wait for people sitting, taking 10 minute breaks between sets to scroll through instagram before being able to do your workout. No matter what time I went it seemed overcrowded. 17 - 18 pm overcrowded 18 - 19 pm overcrowded 19 - 20 pm overcrowded It seemed that the only time slot where you have some room to work out is from 21-22pm. Car park always too busy to park. Definitely not going here again.

Positive experience: Fantastic gym and staff. Always updating gym equipment. Can't say enough about the overall running of this gym. Really like the separate sauna and steam rooms for male and female. Also now have a plunge pool which is a fantastic addition. Only con is the platinum membership is westwood gym level price which is insanity. 90 euro for something that use to be free with your general membership. 30 euro to do the check up on it's own is a bit much too. Prices do go up quite often however it's understandable due to how often machines are updated.

Negative experience: All staff dont have any communication etiquette they really need to be work communication i have enough stress therefore i started fitness

Positive experience: Westpark Fitness in Tallaght has a lot to offer, but there are also some areas that could be improved. Pros: ✅ The staff is always friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. ✅ Most members are polite and respectful, which helps make peak hours more manageable. ✅ Great location, making it a convenient choice for a local gym. ✅ The coffee shop serves some of the best coffee in the area, which is a nice post-workout treat. Cons: ❌ The car park is often overcrowded, and we’ve had to turn back home multiple times due to no available spaces. ❌ The toilets are not always very clean, which can be off-putting. ❌ Some of the equipment is worn out and no longer works properly, affecting the workout experience. ❌ A lack of hygiene from some younger members—many don’t use towels or clean the equipment after use. Overall Verdict: Westpark Fitness has a lot of great aspects, particularly its friendly staff, good atmosphere, and excellent coffee shop. However, improvements in cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and parking availability would make it a much better experience for members.

Negative experience: Unfortunately it used to be a lot better with different types of memberships. The prices have gone very high, there is no pay as you go option for pool, There is no pool only membership anymore. Hope they bring that back in but very doubtful.

Fantastic experience: Очень чисто,чувствуешь себя комфортно. Желательно, чтобы установили центрефугу для отжатия купальника, так руками нельзя отжать, а бассейн посещает много пенсионеров и инвалидов. В основном-очень нравится. Спасибо.

Fantastic experience: Hello Everyone First of all I would like to "praise" every member of this Health Paradise for attending. Famous quote say that: " Better protect and take care about good health than... ... visit a doctor and start treatment ". This place is like a CURATION for You. When I was very young (7 years old) I started training judo , later after secondary school -gym workout and now in the age of 47 I am doing exactly "nothing " to keep fit No excuse for, there is no explanation ... Simply I have lost REGULARITY ❗ Please remember about this, probably is the most important thing except MOTIVATION. What is funny : when I was In UK prison ( 3 years sentence ) I was training inside the high-risk cell 2x DAILY ❗ The huge advantage of Westpark Fitness are opening hours: start Your day 6am from training - I may highly recommend for everyone Greetings from Martin

Negative experience: Very bad experience I was set up in this gym by the trainer working there who gave me Zionism tablets and dealt behind my back with polish mafia for Romanian Ka and allow them to use Cabal equipment to hide the crime. He also got promoted to bodybuilding competition judge after leaving me without any support and stole my email to hide the contract. No assistance from the gym. His programs are on for over 7 years and horrible stories behind the scene of fake campaigns and support of leftist illegal activities.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms in Tallaght. You have the lovely new updated gym with the classes and the swimming pool. I use only the membership for the swimming pool which has the aqua aerobics classes and virtual aerobik which you can put on any time. Has the sauna and stream room in both changing rooms (separately for men and women). Very clean and well run places. Really recommend

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym. More expensive than flyfit and some other gyms. However, if you are a regular gym goer I think it's worth it. Best gym I have trained at. If you don't get to the gym regularly then maybe a cheaper gym might suit. I am aware that there are other gyms that are more expensive than Westpark but I very much doubt they are better than - or even as good as - Westpark. There is nothing I could add to the the gym. They pretty much have everything.

Positive experience: Only gym in the catchment area that facilitates large numbers and has amenities such as showers and a pool. Busy due to this fact with the next nearest similar gym being Arena at Tallaght Stadium. Smaller gyms in area such as D12 Crossfit, Ballrothery/Tallaght community, DN fitness and SB fitness and back to basics all of which are more intimate. All of these demand higher monthly costs barring Ballrothery but are tighter knit communities. Overall the gym is relatively large and clean with classes throughout the day and other amenities attached or within walking distance. Biggest downside to Westpark Fitness is the joining fee of €69 which is to be paid ontop of the first monthly fee alongside an addittional myzone fitness fee of 40 if you opt for that. This can be quite a limiting fee as you are not afforded the opportunity of trying out the facilities in a day to day working fashion prior to paying such high costs starting off or of trying out the myzone product if that option is opted for. Talk to the staff and organise the use of the gym prior to starting if you are interested and dont be pressured by their sales tactics . They boast quite the sales team for a commercial gym.
