Dublin Tomiki Aikido: Opinions
Fantastic experience: brilliant club and the coach's are so nice and funny. the club is so safe and fun to train with
Many thanks. Its hugely important that good safety protocols are in place especially for younger members.
Fantastic experience: A great place to train and learn. The instructors are excellent and very welcoming. Classes are alot of fun, there's also chances to go to competitions and seminars with guest instructors. Definitely worth a try if you're looking to get into a martial art.
We endeavour to give members opportunities to train and learn form other clubs and instructors on a regular basis. It improves us all and provides members with a way to evaluate themselves and the clubs progress and standing in the wider Aikido commuity,
Fantastic experience: Very welcoming and family friendly environment @ Dublin tomiki aikido. All three coaches Keith, Pam, Jer are brilliant with the kids. Our 7 year old never wants to miss any of his classes and his friends at DTA. Nothing is better than learning for life in a fun way.
Many thanks Situ. We appreciate also the effort parents put in to support the club and their child's journey with us.
Fantastic experience: The classes are run by professional and friendly people who are passionate about what they are doing. The team has amazing coaches teaching the kids new skills and supporting.

Fantastic experience: One of the best clubs around my son has been doing a aikido for the last 3 to 4 years the team spirit can be felt especially when traveling to competitions. The instructors are friendly and very good around the kids it's just a great club who preformes well above its weight against other clubs in the UK well done Keith, pam, and Ger.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at the club since it’s inception. I have been coached by an amazing and supportive staff to go on and take medals on a National, European and World stage. The club has given me confidence not only in my martial arts abilities but also in my fitness. Through the amazing teachings of the coaches I was able to receive my 1st Dan black belt and am currently on track for my 2nd. There is an excellent atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration within the club. I am truly thankful to be a member of DTA!!!
You are an inspiration to all our members young and old, and your support to the club and your assistance with coaching is greatly valued.

Thank You Emer.
Fantastic experience: What a great place for your child to be my son was only 6 when he start in the club its being a great experience to be part of this akido family
Thank you Tracey
Fantastic experience: We can't recommend this club enough. Our Boy joined in February this year and from the moment he walked through the door both us and Jake were made feel very welcome. He is a very shy kid and we were hoping this would make him a bit more outgoing and build his confidence. Keith, Pam and Ger are brilliant with the Children and in return they have gained their respect. We were amazed at how helpful and friendly each of the children were to each other. As others have said its like and extended family with lots of older Brothers and Sisters from the Youth group too. He loves coming each week and we can see how much more confident he has become in such a short time.
Thanks Mark.
Fantastic experience: My son loves it from the first class.
That is great to hear... enjoying aikido practice is the most important goal we set out to achieve for all our members
Fantastic experience: Excellent bunch of people with brilliant coaches. Would defo recomend if your looking for a martial art to take up.
Many thanks John for your kind words. Recommendation from respected peers is appreciated greatly.
Fantastic experience: Joining any martial arts club as an adult can be a daunting endeavour. Joining DTA turned out to be a welcoming and encouraging experience. Staying the course has required commitment, but the support has been great and the rewards worthwhile. If you are contemplating starting/continuing your own budo journey, you will find a welcoming environment, camaraderie and a high level of technical instruction available at Dublin Tomiki Aikido.
Thank you Jer. New Adult members (women and men) are always welcome. We encourage anyone who is interested to come an give it a go for at least a month. It can be a bit daunting attempting something completely new, but we were all beginners once, so we encourage new beginners and they are welcomed warmly.
Fantastic experience: Great child oriented marital arts school with friendly instructors. Kids have great fun while at the same time learning to focus and learn a new skill
We take our responsibility in coaching young people seriously. Registered with IMAC (Governing body for martial arts in Ireland) ensuring that all coaches are vetted, are trained in Child safety, first aid and qualified to instruct in Aikido. ..but beyond that, it's also about creating and good learning environment and making it an enjoyable experience for our young members.
