Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym around. Staff are amazing, from getting the friendly greeting by William and Daniela at the desk each day and helpful tips from Troy. Equipment is also top tier and well looked after with no stiff machines. There’s hygiene staff in the morning cleaning the gym and it’s always great with no dirt around. Seen other reviews complain about how busy it is at certain times but what gym isn’t packed during peak hours?? Opening times are very similar to almost all gyms across Dublin. Sadly had to leave as I moved away but would highly encourage everyone to try it out and you’ll love it!

Fantastic experience: I was a member of Smart Fit Harold's Cross for several months before moving out of the neighborhood. I can't say enough nice things about the gym, which is well equipped, clean, carefully maintained, full of friendly staff, and an excellent value. I retained one of the gym's trainers, Sam, with whom I worked out three times each week. I'd never worked with a personal trainer and wasn't sure what to expect. In the event, Sam was amazing. The wide variety of exercises he put me through (with machines, free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, staves, TRX, etc.) kept me both engaged and, by the end of each session, exhausted. His unwavering insistence on form and technique as well as pre/post-stretching almost certainly saved me from injury (always a concern at my advanced age), and his enthusiasm was infectious and motivating. I found the combination of Sam and Smart Fit to be extremely powerful. Strongly recommended.

Negative experience: Every summer I return home for the month of July and I pay a joining fee of €25 plus the monthly fee of €49. So I pay €75 for the one month which is sore but I can somewhat understand this even though I have requested for any offer and they tell me there is none only to find out they do a promotional summer plan of €39 euro plus no joining fee a week later. I have also recently been traveling for a funeral and when I came back I cancelled my membership on the 1st yet they still billed me on the 1st itself. I tried to speak to staff but they just said “it’s in our terms and conditions”. Very cold and not what you expect from a local gym. They also never responded to my email. Just another money orientated gym that doesn’t care about the actual people.

Positive experience: This small gym is well equipped for the most part and it seems well maintained. The dumbbells and barbells are always in order but the plates are a mess. In my personal opinion, this gym opens too late (7am during the week and 10am on the weekend!). It gets crowded most of the time and some people will workout in circuits, personal trainers seem to have priority (although this isn't disclosed anywhere in the contract) so be flexible in your workout as often you will have to wait for a machine. Positive experience: I've been working out at this gym for almost 3 years, but lately I've noticed a lack of common sense with some of the night staff. The only time I can go to work out is from 9 to 10 at night, but before closing time the staff starts turning off the lights in the room and turning off the clocks, very early, as if they were urging us to leave. I need the clock to time the seconds of rest, and often the environment is dark with the lights in the free area turned off. I know they want to leave quickly, but they could be more respectful of the people who are still at the gym.

Positive experience: SmartFit is great, it’s on the higher end of gyms, great equipment. However, it does get very crowded and not everyone can go on odd hours.

Positive experience: I am truly curious why shower facilities are not consistently provided to all members. Sometimes, the boiler is turned off, preventing warm water from being available, and after a certain time, the valves are shut off, cutting off the water supply altogether. This makes using the gym extremely inconvenient. I kindly request clear usage guidelines or measures to ensure that all members can use the facilities fairly. This is not just a complaint but is written with the hope that it will help improve the operation of the gym.

Positive experience: Gets the job done if you’re in town and need to get in a workout. Fairly good variety of Cybex machines, and two sets of dual cables. Dumbbells go up to 50kg. Was pretty busy on a Saturday and there’s often a wait for benches and machines. €15 day pass is extremely steep for what you get imo.

Positive experience: Good gym nice amount of equipment, it is small tho so at busy hours you can be waiting to use things. Also opening hours of 7 am is kind of annoying especially as the place can be packed there that early during the week. 6 am opening time for weekdays would be perfect

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for about 6 months now and have no complaints whatsoever. Wide range of equipment that's maintained well, and they recently bought an entirely new set of dumbbells. Staff are all super friendly and there's generally a great vibe when you're here, everyone from total beginners to quite advanced lifters.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, always clean, good equipment, nice facilities but the big one is the friendly staff here at smart-fit Max and the others always have a smile on their face always, nice warm welcome and able to have a laugh, pleasure dealing with them. Thanks again guys!

Front office staff very welcoming and cheerful. Only two suggestions : 1) Need bigger TV screens 2) Weak WIFI need updation.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Dublin! I've been going to Your Fitness Gym for a year and I absolutely love it! Lots of great free classes included in your membership with brilliant staff. They are extremely friendly, encouraging and supportive of your progress. The gym itself is very modern and has all new equipment with plenty of room to do your exercises. It's also an extremely clean gym, shower and locker area included. They have a lovely sofa area and a protein bar in where you can get very nice protein shakes! Would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking about joining a gym!

Fantastic experience: Cool gym, looks great. Nothing too flash or fancy, but somewhere you can go and put in the work. Plenty of free weights, machines and cardio options. Plus the staff are sound and the place has a good vibe. They're opening a new shake counter soon which will be great. I only wish it were closer to home!

Fantastic experience: Have to say it is one of the best gym in Dublin ! Been in many different ones before and never been this happy! Classes are brilliant, friendly stuff, lot of new equipment and never have to wait for one. Feel very motivated each time I am there! Couldn't recommend enough this gym!
