Fantastic experience: Fabulous place to take the kids for a little swim day. Warm water and fun slides

Negative experience: The place is impossible to contact! Every time you call there trying to book swimming no one answers the phone. Then when you arrive trying to get in they ask you why didn’t you call!!!!!! The place is a joke!

Positive experience: I love this place but the Hours are different in summer months ! See the times for summer 2025 on this picture I highly recommend to book your space on their website before going

Fantastic experience: An excellent facility to have. Lots of changing rooms. The place is continually cleaned during the day which is great in such a busy pool. Very family friendly. Cool music playing.

Fantastic experience: I have been here so many times I don't think I can count. I've taken some lessons here a few years ago and I actually got pretty good at swimming. I come here on weekends and it's not hard to get booked but it really depends on how much people are with you in my opinion 3 is a good size. The thing about the pool is that the medium one is way to small because it could be pretty packed with kids and adults and I recommend going into the biggest pool because it's more free even though the water is kind of cold it's super fun. Now the smallest pool isn't so bad it's actually good especially for babies or if you just want to go on the tire swing or just go down the slide, the water in there is warm but a perfect kind of warm but that's probably because it's more shallow and smaller. Now for the big pool there isn't much toys and Im not sure where to find them but I guess im supposed to ask staff. Also an issue I have is kids staying wayy to long in the pool, I hate to admit this but I've done it before I stayed an extra hour and 30 minutes before I decided to leave and when I did staff just kept watching the pool (which is obviously a good thing) but I don't think they realized I stayed for pretty long. Overall I love this swimming centre and the swimming classes so this deserves 5 stars.

Negative experience: My family and I had been really enjoying the facility as members until it unfortunately came to a very distressing end due to extremely poor management making the pool unsafe. A man struck me in the head out of nowhere two weeks ago (Wednesday, April 16th.) When I approached him to figure out what this was about, they blew me off swam off. I have no idea who this person is or what their issue was. When the lifeguard approached the man moments later, they ignored them, too, and continued swimming. When I reported this to the manager on duty, he characterised the assault as "unintentional" and swimming off as "bad manners," and said they were not going to take any action. Shortly thereafter, the same man blocked my wife in the "swim only" lane and began staring at her in that predatory way a person does if they're trying to threaten you. The same manager was told about this. He said he saw this incident on the CCTV. And... that was it. They shruggingly agreed that a person shoudln't act that way. And they did nothing. The man was not removed, no assurances were given my wife about how threatening behavior would be dealt with in the pool, nothing. Two days later, having heard nothing from anyone working at the pool, we cancelled our memberships. As my wife said, she feels unsafe in the pool. Of course she does. A large adult male acted threateningly towards her, and attacked her husband, and no action was taken. This is "law of the jungle" stuff. I have a three year old who comes with us. He's our main reason for being there. It is not appropriate for me to get into a fight with a strange adult male who is looking for a fight and threatening women because management is imposing no standards of safety or care for its members. The one thing I asked for was a refund for the remainder of our month's subscription. That's it. That was ten days ago. And I haven't heard anything back. This is one of those situaitons where people are acting in such a wild manner that you question your own sanity based on how it has been handled. I feel extremely angry at the total lack of care in how we have been treated, and that this hooligan is being enabled as he goes around acting however he wants in a place as particualrly requiring of care and safety as a swimming pool. Two employees of the pool told us after the fact that they had seen this person's behavior before and indicated that these incidents with us were in line with his character. Wild.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old son is swimming lessons for the past few months. The staff are very helpful. He's had Baruch as a trainer and recently now he has Rian and both lads are so patient with him and really developed his confidence and it's great to see the progress. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Been here twice and they are really helpful. They helped me find the gym and showed me what equipment was best for beginners and to get to my goal. They always wear a smile when I come in and is happy to help. 11/10. Found my gym/pool. They are accomadating to disabilities moth physical and mental. I have a busted knee and asd and they helped me around those and didn't dumb things down for me. Great for people starting out or like me haven't gone swimming in a while

Fantastic experience: Great for young kids with the small and big slide and play pool, shallow pool and main pool. Changing rooms are male and female together which is handy as a family, don't forget €1 coin needed for each locker

Negative experience: I want to tell you about the situation that is happening here in the showers of the pool. The situation is very tragic, the showers cabins have not been cleaned for months.. the cleaners sit at the reception or smoke around the corner, I don’t understand where the manager is looking. I have been visiting to LeisureWorld for more than five years, but I have never seen such unsanitary conditions and dirt before. People, be careful and do not touch the walls and only go to the shower from the beach shoes in the shower if you do not want to get some kind of infection. I don’t understand where the Irish health service services are looking.

Fantastic experience: There’s a great atmosphere in the gym. When I was living in Cork, I loved going there after a day of work. The swimming pool is good, as well. Moreover, they offer a relaxing sauna, which is not too hot. The prices are reasonable. It’s a place where everyone is welcome.

Fantastic experience: We took our son to LeisureWorld for a family swim. He has Cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. The staff couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. They were absolutely fab and went out of their way to make sure our time in the venue was as enjoyable as ever. A member of staff even brought out a wheeled chair to the pool and told us that we could have use of it to move our son around instead if having to carry him. Thank you all so much for making our morning so much fun!

Fantastic experience: Easy to book on their website! Such a great facility to take the kids swimming they have a learning pool and a little slide and a big slide for them they absolutely love it here There is also a nice big pool and sauna and steam room for adults

Positive experience: Come swimming here with my family, it’s super fun! The slide it actually long and you go down quite fast! But it’s only open for like 20 minutes every like 2 hours or something and it’s kinda annoying but still a fun pool to swim in

Negative experience: Should really give no stars wouldn't allow my son and daughter to enter the pool and extremely discriminatory towards my autistic son didn't read her name badge but she was around 18 with bleached highlights glasses and acne.

Positive experience: Pretty good and basic swimming pool. Can get a little crowded, depending on daytime. Including in entry fee, steam room and sauna included. Very good value.

Positive experience: Great place to swim, there’s a children friendly zone where the water is not too high for them to ensure upmost safety and a deep pool for those who prefer swimming deep. Now sure how often he water is clean, sometimes I find hair in the pool but overall it’s a great place to swim. There are lockers, showers and hairdryers too.

I am now working with Adrian in the LeisureWorld complex in Churchfield. I would use only two words to describe Adrian as a Personal Trainer … “World Class”

Negative experience: Nightmare to book 2 kids for swimming. Left 3 email with booking enquiries. Called many times, left my number to the customer service but no one called back. I don’t understand why you have a app for a family of (4) booking or single adult. But no option for kids to book online.

Fantastic experience: Downloaded the LeisureWorld app and joined using the free membership; very simple to use the booking and payment system. The family pool sessions fill up fast so I'd recommend booking a few days in advance (the single swim seem to always be available, so if it's just you, you'll probably be OK booking closer to the day you want). I arrived with my two girls a few mins before allotted time and the staff member on desk was very helpful. The facility has ample changing cubicles, lockers (1 euro) , toilets and showers (the website says not available due to covid, but they are in use). There is a fun flume that the kids love, lots of footballs to play catch, pool noodles and swimming aids. There is a nice little pool for smaller kids, with a fun slide and toys to keep them busy, a bigger play pool and the large pool for bigger kids. The lifeguards seem vigilant and it is attended at all times. There is also a large inflatable that you can get into, but we didn't try that out on this visit. The session cost €20 for a family (2 adults 2 kids or 1 adult 3 kids, kids under 4 go free). You get 1 hour, which tbh is plenty. Will definitely be going again, and highly recommend.

Negative experience: People were charged for full price and they can't use all facilities. Everyone can touch the same dumbbells but all matts, rollers and other equipment is gone from the gym because of transmission. Saunas can't be use from 2 years because of covid also. It doesn't look like will be open. Such a joke. It is robbery like. By the way pool is flighty with used plasters and other rubbish. Open place fully or close that covids circus !

Positive experience: Great. Receptionist fitted us in despite not booking. It's not as good as the centre in Bishopstown and the automatic detecting showers are a pain and are often hard to restart. But overall a good experience though the time in the pool is shockingly low
