Excel Gymnastics

Welcome to Excel Gymnastics, a premier sports institution based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, with an additional competitive training facility in Cherry Orchard, Dublin. Established in 2005, our club has grown from humble beginnings into a leading provider of gymnastics education and elite competition training for athletes of all ages and abilities. We are proud to be an accredited club under Gymnastics Ireland, recognized for our excellence in governance, inclusivity, and high-performance coaching.

Our primary facility in Celbridge offers a warm and supportive environment for recreational participants, starting from our specialized Parent & Toddler classes for children aged 0-3, through to Tiny Tots (3-4 years), Jungle Jumps (5-12 years), and dedicated classes for teenagers and adults. We emphasize fun, physical development, and foundational skills, grouping children by age and physical ability to ensure personalized progress. Our Rhythmic Gymnastics program beautifully combines ballet and creative choreography with apparatus work—using ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes, and clubs—guiding students from beginner to advanced levels through structured Level 1, 2, and 3 programmes.

For those aspiring to compete, our Cherry Orchard facility provides a state-of-the-art 10,000 sq ft training center where competitive gymnasts train up to 26 hours per week. Our dedicated coaching staff prepares athletes to represent Ireland in Artistic, Rhythmic, and Acrobatic Gymnastics at national and international levels, with several of our members currently featured on the Irish Gymnastics National Squads.

Excel Gymnastics is also renowned for its engaging school holiday camps held during Halloween, Easter, and Summer breaks. These camps offer daily activities for children aged 5 and over, ensuring kids stay active and have fun while parents enjoy a break. Join a club that values community, growth, and athletic excellence. Whether you are taking your first steps or aiming for the podium, Excel Gymnastics is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: Very nice staff. Daughter finding her confidence back that she had lost in previous place by lack of knowledge. Waiting room for parents is nice too which is a nice plus. Well done!
