Vortex Gymnastics

Vortex Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics center located in the heart of Carrigaline, Cork, operating from Brooklodge Business Park in Glanmire. Established in 2015, Vortex has grown into a trusted hub for young athletes, offering a comprehensive gymnastics program that caters to everyone from enthusiastic beginners to competitive elites. Classes are held six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, providing flexible scheduling for families throughout the academic year.

What sets Vortex apart is its highly qualified coaching team. Every coach is a former gymnast with a portfolio of national and international titles, ensuring that instruction is rooted in elite-level expertise. All staff are Garda vetted through Gymnastics Ireland, the National Governing Body, and have completed rigorous safeguarding courses, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for all children. The facility is equipped with top-tier gymnastics apparatus, allowing members to train with professional-grade equipment under expert guidance.

Vortex offers a clear developmental pathway for its members. The program begins with inclusive recreational classes designed for all abilities, ranging from preschoolers (age 3) up to secondary school age. These classes focus on fun, fundamental skills, balance, coordination, and discipline. As children progress, they may be invited by coaches to advance to competitive levels, where they specialize in Acrobatics, Trampolining, and Display Gymnastics. Competitive members regularly participate in and showcase their talents at Gymnastics Ireland competitions and international events.

For those looking to maintain their fitness and skills outside the regular term, Vortex offers summer camps and weekly summer classes. These programs provide intermediate and advanced training intensives during school holidays (Easter, Halloween, and Summer), as well as specific mid-week training sessions for competitive athletes in June, July, and August.

Whether your child is interested in building confidence through recreational gymnastics or pursuing the rigorous path of competitive sport, Vortex Gymnastics provides the ideal platform for growth, development, and lifelong fitness.
