Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Elite Karate Academy! Both my son & daughter are members almost 4yrs now & they absolutely love it. It not only helps with their fitness & well being but it builds up their confidence & self belief. Sensei Gareth is great with the members & they all try their best to make him proud!!

Fantastic experience: My son (5) started at the academy karate in January and has already completed his yellow tip grading. He runs into class every week, full of excitement, and absolutely loves it. Since joining, I’ve noticed a real boost in his confidence and manners.

Fantastic experience: I've only started karate with Elite Academy 2 weeks ago and I've learned so much! Sensei Gareth is very kind and patient. The community is very friendly as well. As a newcomer, I was a bit anxious at first but it all went away the moment I joined.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely recommend!!! My son is not a sportive person , he's more into gaming and art , we tried different sports ,he was just not into any of them. Until I found this Elite Karate Academy and he totally loves it , that's all because of Sensei Gareth his amazing helpers, they make everyone feel special. Thank you! Fantastic experience: I thought long and hard about my son joining Karate, he is a very quiet anxious child and needed to get out of his comfort zone (ps5 ) , I researched and I am delighted with the choice I made in Elite Karate Academy from the minute we walked in that door Cian was made part of the team . He loves it comes out of class all smiles and soon as we get home he shows us the new moves he has learnt he is already focused on gaining his belts , I am sure with sensi Gareth and team Cian will achieve his goals and aims . Highly recommend for any Child or adult to learn self defence it also builds confidence and gives structure to a child that had no confidence or motivation. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I'm 27 years old and I've been with elite karate academy for nearly a year and a half now but it feels like I only walked onto the mats for the first time yesterday. My reasons for joining this amazing and wonderful group of lunatics was that I suffered from very deep depression and was on strong medication for it and I wanted to focus on something and to get into the right headspace and I stumbled onto an ad for elite karate academy. When i was younger I tried different karate clubs but none could hold my interest or attention so I was weary this club would be the same but I decided to give it a go and how wrong I was from walking into the dojo for the first time to meeting Sensei Gareth for the first time I felt welcomed in the class by himself and all the other students in the class. The classes are broken down so easily that is easy to follow and do and the most important thing is that there no pressure in getting it right straight away both sensei and other students will help you and thanks to those things I'm a proud orange belt gunning for black belt and more importantly I was able to come off my medication completely and I'm forever grateful to elite karate academy this

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Elite Karate Academy for almost a year. I am no spring chicken, but in that time I have seen a huge improvement in my fitness levels. I thought joining the adult class might have been strange to try and integrate but both Sensei Gareth and his leaders and instructor made things very easy. Sensei's methodology makes every class interesting , fun and challenging. Saturday morning Cardio Combat ran by Ashe is a tough but fun class improving our fitness levels, made so by Ashe's commitment to helping everyone out regardless of fitness levels or experience, as well as her Dynamic Kicking Class which she makes just as enjoyable. I have to say I feel so lucky for joining this academy, with my fitness levels improving as well as the people I have met whom I would consider friends.

Fantastic experience: I've trained under Sensei Gareth of Elite Karate for the last 9 years and earning my black belt last week was a moment I will never forget, I developed core strength physically and mentally on my journey to becoming a black belt, Elite Karate has always been welcoming and friendly with a great atmosphere, I would like to thank Sensei and all the black belt team for helping me reach my goal.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday there was an expo in the academy and I was in the sparring competition and had such an amazing time did katas with my friends did a weapons demonstration and won a medal it was such a good time the bake sale was good and everyone had a good time

Positive experience: It's a great place, super good to learn self-defense and get some exercise, you can also learn good life lessons there too but this is nothing against the place itself but it's super crowded with basically nowhere to park, luckily they're planning to move to a new location with better parking. But overall it's a great place

Fantastic experience: It is already the fourth year when my children have joined the Academy. It is absolutely impressing how it has developed since then! Sensei Gareth is a teacher with the capital "T". With his personality, knowledge, skills ( Ireland’s 1st WCA Combat Coach and Self-Protection Instructor) and new ideas, he is running a great place! It is one of the few things that he actually enjoys going to and always comes out in great form. He has never liked playing sports so this is great for his fitness and confidence. Sensei Gareth has a great approach with his students, creating the perfect balance between work and play. Each class begins with “Lessons On The Mat” - which focuses on building confidence, wisdom and self respect. This is followed by lessons in Wado Ryu karate and then high energy games to finish. He runs into class every week and skips out of it. As parents, we love to see its not just about the skills of karate but the values and life lessons taught to the kids in each class. The word of the week has been teaching my son great values as a person and something I would encourage in him in becoming the best version of himself.

Fantastic experience: I enrolled my son in elite karate academy in April after many failed attempts at different sports and activities and I am glad to say he absolutely loves it. I have seen a huge difference in his confidence levels and physical health, he has even been discharged from physiotherapy as his mobility and balance has improved so much. Gareth is an amazing teacher and the kids really respect him. I would highly recommend enrolling your child here if you are thinking about starting them in an activity.

Fantastic experience: My son suffers from social anxiety and we have gone to so many classes to try and build his confidence up, none of them worked he wouldn’t stay and would really get upset. However elite karate was so different my son started getting upset when we walked in and Sensei Gareth just started talking to him and reassuring him. I couldn’t believe it but my son stayed for the whole class and wants to go back. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Have an amazing way with children. Thank you again Laure

Fantastic experience: The classes are extremely well tailored, you get to learn both Wado-ryu Karate and it's practical application to real life situations. Sensei Gareth knows where downfalls of what he may be showing from traditional Karate are and explains best use etc. His passion for the club and the Karate itself is unfathomable. Really recommend for kids, teens and adults.

I see a huge difference since he joined the club. Training has boosted his confidence and disciplined. Fantastic experience: My daughter loves going to her karate classes, she is doing it for a year and a half and every time she is so excited to go and learn new things. I noticed that she gained more confidence and is open more towards new friends. Sensei Gareth is a great teacher and mentor, he has a very nice approach towards children, classes are educational and full of fun.

Fantastic experience: Children growing up in today's world can be very daunting for both children and parents. Fantastic experience: Myself and my son joined Elite Karate Academy not so long ago and found the classes very informative. The Sensei explains everything in a calm and professional manner which makes the class environment more enjoyable and relaxing. The academy always keeps their students informed with latest news within the club via emails. Their on line App is very good as my son views the App on a regular basis. My son is really enjoying the classes. I would recommend this Academy for any one who is interested in martial Arts or anybody who would like to up skill themselves in strengthening their confidence.
