Fantastic experience: Easy access, close to Clondalkin village. Parking is always available. Great spot.

Fantastic experience: I attended SCD leisure this am (28.10.25) with my 2 children, one of my children has additional needs. I couldn't commend the staff enough, very helpful and considerate. Apologies, I didn't get names, but the reception, pool staff, and pool changing staff were very polite and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Clondalkin Leisure Centre. Finn is an excellent instructor — his teaching strategy is very clear and motivating. He makes sure everyone understands the technique before getting into the water, which really helps beginners like me improve fast. The only thing I noticed is that the water felt quite cold. I’m not sure why it’s kept that way, but I think it would be better if the temperature was a little warmer. Overall, amazing lessons and a big thanks to Finn for making swimming more enjoyable!

Positive experience: Sìofra was so helpful such an amazing considerate member of staff. I came with my wife and daughter and forgot a few bits and she was very kind and brought them into the pool to us. So mannerly as well. As are all the staff. They can't do enough to help. I come here as a member myself all of the time and I love the facilities but seriously something needs to improve with the men's shower room. They are falling apart and in dire need of a refurb. They are generally old and filthy...the dirt and grime is literally infectious in between the tiles and radiators That's the only reason I docked a star.

Positive experience: Terrific family sports centre. Lovely big clean pool. Plenty of changing areas for families. Skate park and playground on premises too add a nice touch.

Positive experience: I attended a Minor ladies football match there against Round Towers, Clondalkin. We lost narrowly. Beautiful park. Well attended by supporters on a sunny May evening. Most enjoyable. Lovely place.

Negative experience: They rarely clean the pool. There's so much filth of all descriptions at the bottom of the deep end, and there's algae growing at the bottom near the middle. I have contracted a rash on my wrist thanks to this. Disgusting.

Negative experience: Place is getting worse! Public swimming times zero lanes to provided to swim as school there! Members swim before had 3 swimmers... Staff apologies but management at fault! It's supposed to be a public amenity but a private business

Positive experience: Though there are some good facilities here and the staff are helpful and friendly it does have the look of been old and a bit run down and uninviting.

Negative experience: 2 stars due to receptionists not picking up calls, and its the only way to book badminton courts. They must be super busy to not pickup a call and accept booking which takes like 1-3 mins. Gotta call them several times for them to answer the call. No problems with the courts except for the corner one which doesn’t have lights working.

Negative experience: Swimming pool is ok but the badminton court have no lights in one end and not enough lights in most of the courts. Have requested to fit lights but no action taken for more than a year

Negative experience: The swimming pool is not clean and the quick showers are always busy with people taking long showers at busy hours. The swimming pool is always crowded.

Negative experience: Bad smell, moho in all the swimming pool, the quick showers people is using them for long showers and the staff don't do anything about it, there is no space for swimming and you need to wait outside the pool until there's space if you want to swim.

Negative experience: My partner goes here . Both men's toilet and shower rooms stink of urine , always ! Upstairs and downstairs. He's never smelled any disinfectant or cleaning products being used ever! Changing rooms around pool also never smelled cleaning products being's used ( disinfectant, bleach etc). Very unhygienic for both adults and kids as most will walk around in their bare feet . Also NON SLIP tiles used in wrong areas. Non slip tiles covered with mats and no non slip tiles in areas where people walk. Steam room upstairs has never worked in TWO YEARS that he's been going there. Steam room downstairs broken more times than it is working. Have asked about the women's and have been told they're always clean as a whistle. Men deserve the same treatment! He's went to the toilet upstairs and had to leave on many occasions as it's so bad. Overpowering STINK. This has really put me off joining it too and your other reviews about the pool being manky is a no no!!

Fantastic experience: Great place. I go there twice weekly for my Taekwan-Do lessons. Staff are friendly and pool is always clean. The swimming lessons, throughout all grades, are great. Playground is fun although geared towards smaller children. Cafe is great and cheap. Staff are wonderful. I recommend a tropical capri-sun and a sausage roll, while looking over at the swimming pool. Vending machines are a tad pricey though. AND - THEY REORGANISED IT SO THERE'S NO MORE BUFFALO HUNKY DORYS! No comments on the gym as I have not been there. But it looks over the sports hall so it would be a great place to run on the treadmill while watching people down below!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to workout then go for a steam or sauna or both pending on what you want to do. Gym is bit compact but there is enough room to use machines not so much if your into floor work but there is two studio rooms available to use.

Fantastic experience: It's not the most luxiourious place and too big but it's enough to get you fit, it has a nice big swimming pool, 2 saunas and 2 steam rooms. Different gym classes and interests such as karate. Staff is friendly and prices reasonable
