Fantastic experience: Listen… i wish i met mark before.. Absolutely amazing vibe on sessions.. He actually listens to you and wants to make your gym and your life easier so you can enjoy gym!! Would recommend million percent Even tho i sometimes hate him when he add weights on plus she is so sneaky when he does it most of time you dont even realise it
Fantastic experience: Signed up in July/August after much research and kept hearing the same things over and over and they were not wrong. Mark is brilliant, knowledgeable and always pushes you to an extent that is allowable. With a targeted training and meal plans, I actually enjoy going to the gym now where as i would've been apprehensive and nervous previously. If you're ever stuck in a rut with your fitness journey give Mark a shout. He is extremely professional but can also have you laughing especially after leg day.
Fantastic experience: In January I signed up to awakened fitness, feeling like I didn’t know how to begin my journey again after stopping the gym For 5 months, after some research on social media I reached out to Mark, filled out the form about how I wanted to improve myself mainly weight loss and build muscle, mark provides you with easy to follow meal plans- what makes it easier mark asks you at the time off signing Up is there any foods u didn’t like, which makes the whole process much simpler. As part of the package you also get a hour session with mark in ROM. Mark is fully informative about the machines before you begin, demonstrating the exercise(s) before you begin, and also points out if you are doing it incorrectly- that’s the best part off have a PT guidance with the nutrition and the exercise part off to. Mark also asks through out your time with him is there any exercises that’s part off your plan that you don’t like and he’ll remove it and swap it out for something else. 6 months on I 110% feel better about myself, clothes that were tight are now baggy and I feel I’ve definitely built muscle . I’d have no problems in recommending mark if you are thinking off going to a PT.
Fantastic experience: I've been working with Mark of Awakened Fitness for the last 6 months.......the fact I'm even saying 6 months is testament to how good the experience has been. I wanted to focus on getting strong, instead of just losing weight and it has worked! The app we use is great for the training, logging food, tracking weight, scheduling sessions and booking appointments. I couldn't recommend Mark enough, and I'll continue to use his services to make progress, as I need the accountability, and the support he provides is just top notch!
Fantastic experience: I started working with Mark with a goal to develop good fitness habits and routines. Previously, I had been in a job with a lot of travel where found hard to stick to routines, so I sought out some help to try get me on track. Working with Mark was an obvious choice, having trained with him at the local Jiu Jitsu club I had already seen the passion he had for his work and his clients. I signed up for his 8 week online training programme, with the key goal being to develop a good training and eating routine. The work Mark put into setting up a personalised training and meal plan was fantastic, and it made it very easy for me to start eating right and getting to the training sessions. Everything that was set up for me felt realistic and sustainable over a long period of time. The meal plan and training never felt like a chore, in fact it was a very enjoyable process. The knowledge Mark has on strength and fitness is extensive, as is the vast resource library he has set up that I was able to access at any time. If I had any questions at all I could count on Mark to be able to help me out any day of the week. After the 8 weeks, I was successful in getting into healthier eating, got back into training Jiu Jitsu, and developed a love for strength training and the gym. Not to mention a fantastic 5.6 kg drop in weight. I would recommend Mark to absolutely anyone regardless of their fitness goals.
Fantastic experience: When my GP asked me in late 2023 how many times I was going to the gym, I just laughed to myself….me….the gym….After her explaining how important strength and conditioning training was for me at ‘my age’, it registered with me as something I should think about. Fast forward to February 2024 and having done nothing more about joining a gym, I was chatting to a very good friend of mine who told me they had started working with Mark Dillon and Awakened Fitness and were seeing great results. They really encouraged me to give it a go and lo and behold about 24 hours later, that same friend sent me a link that Mark was offering free trials and we both agreed it was a ‘sign’!! I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous heading into TNT Gym that first day in late February 2024 but from the moment I met Mark I knew I was going to be just fine, and to be honest I haven’t looked back. The physical changes I have experienced over the last few months are immense but the added joy of fitting into clothes that haven’t fit years, the ability to sing my heart out without struggling for breath in my choir, the overall feeling of wellbeing, and the overall mental health benefits are without doubt the best thing to come out of all of this. If anyone had said to me last year that I would be in the gym three times a week and enjoying it, I would have said they were crazy! But back to the person that has helped me through all of this – Mark Dillon and Awakened Fitness. Mark is an absolute diamond – not only is his fitness and nutrition knowledge mind-blowing, but his passion, his kindness, his encouragement, his knowing just how far to push the work-set are equally just as mind-blowing! His advice and guidance and his ability to listen to exactly what I wanted to achieve, and his design of a programme to get me there, is testament to the type of trainer Mark is. Fantastic experience: I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Awakened Fitness. For years I have struggled with my weight and confidence issues. I lost weight in 2016 but I did this the wrong way as I lost it to quickly and deprived myself of anything I enjoyed eating. My weight has went up and down so many times since then and I just found myself in an endless loop of trying different options which all lead down the same path. Over one year ago I decided to reach out to Mark and I honestly didn't believe just how much someone could help me in so many new ways I never even thought possible. I would never ever have dreamed of classifying myself as a gym head or a fitness freak ever in my life. Trust me when I say that I have struggled with weight and self esteem most of my teenage and adult life. Mark has helped me learn so much and I have never looked back since then, I actually enjoy going to the gym and treat it like a game and I have made so many new friends in doing so. My confidence levels have went through the roof, I am currently the lowest weight I have been since I can honestly remember and I can see visual changes in the toning and shaping of my body. Honestly I can not thank this mam enough!!!
Fantastic experience: My whole journey with awakened fitness has been great. All thanks to Mark I lost 7kg and it hasn't even been 6 months since I started. The workouts have pushed me alot to become much stronger and fitter. To add to this he has a great personality and will always be willing to help and talk about anything. Fantastic experience: I made the decision to begin personal training with Mark after our initial meeting at the local BJJ club. As I discussed my desire to lose weight for an upcoming competition, Mark in gave me the confidence that I could attain this goal within a relatively short timeframe. Starting at 81.3kg and needing to reach 73.5kg, the challenge seemed daunting, but Mark's guidance and support made it achievable. I managed to achieve this in just 8 weeks, which is a testament to Mark's expertise and commitment. Since I had limited experience with gym workouts, I had reservations about some exercises, but Mark proved to be an excellent instructor. His ability to explain and demonstrate the exercises made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the sessions. Mark's program primarily consisted of one push/pull/leg day, a structured approach that provided balance and variety. I anticipated feeling soreness after each workout, but Mark's approach seemed to minimize this, ensuring that I could consistently maintain my training routine. Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Mark enough for anyone looking to reach their goals in relation to fitness. I reached out to Mark as I felt my progress was stalling in the gym and was struggling to lose a few kg, Mark built a very sustainable flexible meal plan and tailored a workout program that fit my goals. Mark has a wealth of knowledge around exercise technique, and provided a google drive with countless video demonstrations and recipe ideas. Delighted with the results achieved, thanks again Mark!
Fantastic experience: Mark is both friendly and knowledgeable. I was a complete novice and the personal training plan he created for me took that into account. Going to a new gym can be a bit daunting but he made the whole process so much easier. When parts of the plan weren't working for me or when I was stuck on certain exercises he was quick to adapt and find alternatives that would work. He's always upbeat and very encouraging, but he's not slow to push me to do more either. Without his help I know I'd have dropped out of going to gym after a couple of weeks.
Fantastic experience: Mark is an absolute legend, I can’t recommend him highly enough. I’ve purchased many online programs which always left me disappointed due to the lack of effort put in to help me stay consistent with my lifestyle. Mark on the other hand was amazing, he really listened and created a simple but extremely effective program for me and my busy schedule. He is so knowledgeable in both training and nutrition and is more than happy to share all of this with you. He has great recipes, heaps of information on nutrition, videos on correct form etc and the app he uses is so simple to use and a great way to track progress and prices are beyond reasonable. Mark is a really genuine guy/PT who really cares about his clients, he gives endlessness support, advice and some laughs along the way. He is a superstar ☺️
Fantastic experience: I found Mark to be a very good personal trainer who helped me achieve my goals. Very informative in relation to nutrition and exercise.
Fantastic experience: The results I got with Mark over 8 weeks was better progress than I made by myself over 6 months, was able to break multiple thresholds and get new PRs in every workout, had a very detailed meal plan that allowed me all the foods I like, this made the diet process basically be no exsistant. Would highly recommend to begineers and intermediates alike very easy to talk to and ask questions.
Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Mark at awakened fitness enough. As a totally newbie in the gym, in every session I feel comfortable knowing it has been tailored with my capabilities/needs in mind. Not to mention the support and advice between sessions, meal plans and wealth of info on recipes and demonstration videos that are made available to you at a very reasonable offer. I wanted to start in the gym to lose some weight and a bit of strength. Without hesitation Mark had me on board with achievable achievable goals with both food and training and in 4 and a half weeks I have managed to lost just over a stone in weight and have gained a noticable amount of strength. All the results are visible to me, but importantly they're also visible on the training app which shows smaller changes you may not notice as quickly like strength increase. I would be quick off the mark ( pun intended) to recommend Mark to anyone looking start in the gym as it's evident he's fit for the the job.(no pun intended)
