Negative experience: Very small and crowded , machines are always occupied and outdated.Pro: location

Negative experience: Taking a shower is impossible. Water is very very cold most of the times. It s warm for a bunch of minutes, then turns very colds. Our kids are shivering and refuse to take s shower. We have reported the issue (ongoing since months) and we only get a bunch of excuses like "it s being fixed". Nothing s fixed. If this goes on I will have to cancel my daughter s swimming classes.

Fitness classes are popular with a few Instructors to mix things up...you will surely target all muscle groups Swimming pool is perfect, not to warm or cold. It's 20m, you'll need to do more if you're used to 25m. Gym equipment is everything you would expect and there are dual gyms New locker rooms with modern styling. There's signs for Children section and Adults only section. Showers have full controls for your personal preference. There's a Steam Room, Sauna and Jacuzzi to chill out. You can use these even when Swimming Lessons are on. There are plans to expand the gym and switch things around. Any Gym that can invest in itself is one I'd like to stick with. Fantastic experience: I normally go to GymPlus in Drogheda but I was not home and decided to go into the one in Ashbourne to sign up for my membership again after a hiatus from the gym. Jess made signing up extremely easy and was so kind, she is a credit to GymPlus Ashbourne - Thank you!

Negative experience: This gym is a horrible place to train , the same people are allowed to book the yoga class up every time not given anyone else s chance , if your new member you get treated differently as there is a click in this gym with certain staff and members, the place is filthy , sauna, steam room and jacuzzi area are never cleaned!

Negative experience: The pool is busy with swimming lessons every day, I don't think I've managed to swim more than 5 since I've had a account. I asked to cancel my account, I paid for 30 days without stepping into the gym. And to cancel my subscription I had to send an email and wait for confirmation, if I didn't do that I understood that I would be fined if I returned to the gym and that I had to find out about gym plus on Google. I thought I would use the gym and when I wanted to cancel my account it would be much easier.

Fantastic experience: A very clean and tidy gym with very helpful staff and a good sized pool. Equipment is kept well and locker rooms are kept to a good standard. They do swimming classes regularly for kids in the evening so sometimes the pool can be busy. Brand new changing rooms are very clean and modern.

Fantastic experience: My son used to do swimming lessons here at gym plus and loved it. But due to the small pool (20 meters) he said he would like to go onto a bigger pool a proper (50 meter). The staff are very professional and super helpfull. I as a regular gym user also appreciate the cleanliness of the pool and the exercise machines. More than three times a week I come here with my son to swim and he enjoys it very very much. Gym Plus is a great place and I hope it stays like this. There are some things to improve such as changing the pool water regularly but overall it is a great place to have fun! Thanks Gym plus.

Negative experience: Anna who is head of the swimming lessons has zero interpersonal skills. Absolute shocking what I seen last Saturday. Pulling a child out of the pool because payment didn't go through due to gym plus system issue. Anna was an absolute disgrace. They really need a new leisure facilities manager. Get rid of her

She is incredibly professional and helpful. Her kindness towards the nervous kids at swimming lessons does not go unnoticed! Positive experience: Love the staff and the pool, which I usually bring my 2.5 years old daughter. However I feel that the changing room should be warmer

Negative experience: the gym has been taken over by swimming classes. call to the gym any evening or weekend morning and the place is overrun with kids running around (including in workout areas) 2/3 of the men's locker room is used up by parents and kids with the swim classes and all other gym members are confined to one small section. Doesn't help that half the lockers are either broken or filthy too.

Positive experience: Full use of the pool is quite limited due to a lot of classes and swimming lessons. This is understandable but what is quite frustrating is that on multiple occasions while I was using the pool during timetabled adult swim or free swim times, I was asked to move lanes or vacate by instructors who are beginning lessons or setting up earlier than scheduled or who are not finishing on time. Given how much of the pool time table is already given over to these lessons, I don't think it's fair to ask other patrons to move or vacate, often 20 mins ahead of time.

Negative experience: In addition to the old equipment, the pool that’s always full of classes, and the lack of monitors. Now there is a problem with the contract, to cancel I need to pay for four months not three as I couldn't notice them using the app and I didn't start my first month on the 1st. There are many points in the contract to keep you a member and make you pay even without using it. Pay attention before signing up for this gym.

Negative experience: Your front desk staffs never said about the policy while the first payment. such a poor service. Terrible.

Negative experience: I'm quite disappointed. When I joined, they made no mention of any policies around joining contracts. Future members should carefully examine their policies. Even after you have explained the situation, they will not consider canceling it. Best wishes

Positive experience: The gym is good so is the swimming but I will never understand why is closing at 17;00 on weekends when most of the people are free on weekends. In my opinion is the weekend that should be open for longer then the week days.

The staff is also helpful and professional, and the cleaners are constantly working. I'd love to get more storage for bikes though, but it's not too often when they're full.

Fantastic experience: The class instructors are very nice and the classes I tried are quite energetic! It doesn't get super busy that you cant work out, which is nice as you wont find yourself queuing to use a machine very often! Can be full of kids in the pool during the weekends.
