Fantastic experience: I’ve been coached by Alan, who is an amazing coach for well over a year now. Took my first visit to the HQ just over a week ago and I couldn’t get over how incredible it is. The gym itself is massive but the range of equipment is next level there really is something for everybody at the HQ. They have ticked every box with the range of equipment, cleanliness, space even the lighting in the gym is unreal. I traveled over an hour to get there and will have no problem traveling that length time and time again just for use of this gym. Unmatched in my opinion

I’ve been training here with Adam for a few months now and have made amazing progress that I had no idea I was capable of - he is so professional and knowledgeable I couldn’t ask for a better coach! The whole team has been wonderful, it’s such a friendly atmosphere. This was so important to me as a beginner who was so anxious about the gym, I’ve felt completely comfortable right from the beginning. Whether you’re experienced with the gym and fitness or a total beginner like myself I couldn’t recommend Adam and the whole team at AKA enough :)

Fantastic experience: I've been training in the AKA HQ for almost two years now, while it was in the old HQ and now in the much larger new and improved HQ. Top class equipment both new and old, all equipment is hand picked and covers every excersises variation and muscle group possible, lots of new(old) equipment too as the saying goes they just don't make them like that anymore but in the HQ you have that old meets new, Old school body building equipment and brand new top of the line equipment everywhere so it's a gym playground in reality. Top class coaches all around, friendly atmosphere, everyone's very helpful. A great training environment & vibe of everyone trying to better themselves

Fantastic experience: Having joined Alan 3 months ago as a 45 year old male who really was not in a good condition cardiovascular wise/lethargic, no motivation to train. I just didn't know what to do. I met Alan and it has actually turned my life around. In 3 months dropped from 103kg to 91kg. I told him I had a personal goal for September not realizing that I could actually reach it. The level of expertise that this man has its next to none. There is no one in the business I feel that can get results like this man can. Always online for support, daily check ins to keep you on track. The app is amazing, particularly the way the weights section is as you have a visible marker to improve on each week. He got me back on a soccer pitch in over 42s league and this has improved every single part of my life. Don't believe me, well try for 3 months and then look back on all the years wasted training Thanks for a terrific service

An unbelievable atmosphere with such friendly and encouraging individuals. Some of the most knowledgeable staff that you can find in this industry. Negative experience: Very well kitted out gym.. Missing a lot attachments or were hard to find small straight bar for cabels etc Was stopped entering with a can of monster as there trying keep place clean No water for sale @30€ for two us to train expected a lot better as that's the price most monthly fees with the gym newbridge and monasterevan close by also it isn't great value

Fantastic experience: I cant speak highly enough of the experience I had with my coach at the AKA gym. I began just after Christmas 2023 with the goal of lowering my BMI and losing some weight. From the word go the results started happening immediately with the help of my coach and the overall program on offer by AKA! You get exactly what you pay for with these guys and once you stick to your own personal nutrition and training plan which is tailor made for each client you will 100 percent see results! From late December to roughly mid march I managed to drop over 10kg which I could not have done without going to AKA! Along with the weight loss there was noticeable changes in my body composition after just a few short weeks. Do not hesitate to get in touch with these guys if you are serious about training and weight loss it will change your life for the better!

Fantastic experience: I've been having PT for a few months now. My coach is great at explaining everything to me and why we do things in a certain way, ie targeting certain muscles in the movement. I certainly am getting stronger, and at my age that's one of my goals. I want to be able-bodied and toned, no matter my age.
