Negative experience: Went in today with a view to signing up. Not a hope. Most of the equipment ie treadmills, bikes, cross trainers are so old that they need to retire. All of the equipment is out dated and in need of serious upgrading. Not one member of staff to be seen. That is if you don’t count the young lad walking around with a weight in his hand! (He’s about 12!) The men’s changing room and showers smell like a nightclub at the end of a busy night. Disgusting. Children using facilities which aren’t fit for purpose: The cobwebs on my treadmill were newer than the equipment. Because they have decided to sell pool time to lessons and other businesses , you pretty much can’t use the pool or jacuzzi for a lot of time during the day. Overall…..won’t be taking out a membership. Overpriced. Dirty. Out dated and basically a money making machine for kids swimming classes. Staff could not care less. If you like smell of urine and paying a premium for something you could get for less a few miles away, this is the place to go. Dreadful.

Negative experience: Went for a swim with my daughter at 1.30 o clock, public swim I was told when I rang but when we entered the pool there were lessons on during the public session, there were two children being taught in a lane so u couldn't swim lengths if u wished and there were a group of children swimming widths, if I knew lessons were on during family sessions I wouldn't have went, it was busy, over priced for a swim session, when u couldn't even swim up or down, only good thing was the staff were very friendly.

Negative experience: Not enough supervision of school kids. Most of them are unruly and without purpose it ruins it for people who are paying membership and training with a purpose and its a claim waiting to happen.

Negative experience: This leisure centre has so much potential, staff are helpful, friendly and the gym is really well laid out. However there are areas that need improving , myself and a friend joined aqua aerobics we had to book each week for the following class we did 4 weeks then it was changed to booking only online , now we can't get a class booked as everytime we go to book its full. I wouldnt mind but we were really enjoying it . I then joined swimming classes instead, I did 2 classes but when I went to book week 3 I was told I can't its full. Like this has to change either put more classes on or let us book 6 weeks at a time at least that way you get to finish out a session of classes. So I've missed a class and have to skip to week 4 and I'm already struggling to keep up so I'm gonna be way behind. Very disheartening. Manager needs to change this.

Positive experience: Friendly staff, recently decorated and kept clean and tidy. Close to town, pool and gym, great offers too. Highly recommend on the dark evenings.

Positive experience: It's great for classes and the staff are very nice but the changing rooms are too hot and too small for the footfall. There's rarely enough seating for the parents which is tough when you're there for an hour with 2 kids and have a back problem.

Negative experience: Gone very expensive, not even close to enough weights really needs some investment in middle range of weights and alot more 15kg and 20 kg plates needed.
