Fantastic experience: All so lovely

Negative experience: The courts are very good, but they disadvantage teams that rent the last slot from 9 to 10 p.m. because they don't even let you use the bathroom. They kick you out as if you were thieves. At 10 p.m., the alarm goes off and they chase you away as if you had leprosy. Terrible service. It doesn't matter if you're all wet, they throw you out onto the street like a dog. Horrible service.

Positive experience: Cheap membership.

Fantastic experience: Friendly faces, super cheap memberships, not the flashiest place but it gets the job done

Negative experience: Tutors are very good but the staff at reception is totally totally arrogant. Going here for last 7 years and still they treat people as if they own the place. I wonder even if their is any management looking after the functionality of this place. Very very sad to rate this as 1 the tutors are excellent but at the reception customer means nothing.

Negative experience: Went for a family swim here, they lock the doors of the changing rooms so you cant get out until your time, They forgot about all of us for ten minutes.. once they let us out they promised us and extra ten minutes, but were told to get out at the original time.. ive also never soon the bottom of a pool so dirty, it was only at the deep end but worst ive ever seen, i will never come back here and will advise other people same...

Negative experience: Met the older woman with short white hair at the reception. She said everything she could to make us not join the club haha. I was shocked at her attitude but it was also quite amusing! Had a good laugh about it!

Fantastic experience: I'm a Born again Christian, and I was baptised in the Coolmine pool on the 23/04/2023. Very clean and staff very friendly.

Positive experience: Astro is OK, decent price off-peak (currently €35 for an hour for half a pitch as of April 2023). Their facilities inside are a bit outdated. Badminton is cheap to play. The dressing rooms have no soap to wash your hands.

Negative experience: I just used of water pool there. Water is so dirty. If you are an adult do not go for swimming at family time.

Positive experience: Gym is quiet.not busy. With enough bodybuilding equipment. But swimming pool is not clean and enjoyable. Sometimes it’s very dirty sometimes it’s cold. Jacuzzi is not warm or hot. In general, other facilities are better than swimming pool. But it’s not that bad that you don’t enjoy swimming.

Fantastic experience: Coolmine is cool just as the name suggests! Much older and more established than nearby and facilities. If you want an inclusive and welcoming environment for sports this is the best place in the area. Oh and it's just been done up!!! The coaches here and the general attitude is really positive. Well deserved 5 stars.

Positive experience: If you want a swim and you don't want to go to the NAC it's fine. It's about 3 quid, there's usually parking and if you go at the right time it's crowded. The changing rooms and the building have been renovated lately, but the pool still feels old. Quick tip. Avoid the outside lanes on the pool if you can. The recirculation jets at the shallow end are powerful and it feels like you're swimming up and downhill. It is also possible that I am a poor swimmer. (I definitely have a lot of 'surface area') ---- 6 months later -- it's gotten crowded on Wednesday mornings. A lot of adults in a small pool - 3 or more to a lane. It can be uncomfortable. Staff are still sound, mind.
