Fantastic experience: Coolmine is cool just as the name suggests! Much older and more established than nearby and facilities. If you want an inclusive and welcoming environment for sports this is the best place in the area. Oh and it's just been done up!!! The coaches here and the general attitude is really positive. Well deserved 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: It's friendly all the staff are go out of there way to help you. There's something there for everyone. You can get fit and healthy in no time.

Positive experience: If you want a swim and you don't want to go to the NAC it's fine. It's about 3 quid, there's usually parking and if you go at the right time it's crowded. The changing rooms and the building have been renovated lately, but the pool still feels old. Quick tip. Avoid the outside lanes on the pool if you can. The recirculation jets at the shallow end are powerful and it feels like you're swimming up and downhill. It is also possible that I am a poor swimmer. (I definitely have a lot of 'surface area')

Fantastic experience: A great little gym with all the basics, no fancy equipment or huge selection but has everything you would need. The staff are all lovely people and are generally more than happy to help with anything and the opening hours are decent also.

Fantastic experience: Use Coolmine for their gym and pool facility. They are most definitely the best value in the area, their staff are very friendly and I like the fact that the gym area is never so busy that you have to wait for machines like in other places. I actually did life saving classes here over 15 years ago as a child so its lovely to return to the facility and see the next generation of children being taught everything from swimming to karate to irish dancing. My mother also goes to the adult swimming lessons and loves it. So many great things under one roof, thank you to all the staff here

Fantastic experience: I go there to play badminton couple of days a week. Most of the times it was fine and some times there is bit of confusion of who booked the courts and the team in there to be called out to sort out issues. It's at a handy location. There's also the gym and Jacuzzi areas which seem pretty popular.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing Judo in this facility for the past 12 years, and along with my secondary school being next door and using these facilities I could never not recommend Coolmine sports and leisure centre. It's staff are all very friendly and helpful, the facilities are great the pool is always very clean and all the gym equipment is sufficient for what you need although some of the machines are abit old look they still function 100% correctly. All in all I would highly recommend Coolmine sports centre for any of your needs such as martial arts, football pitches, swimming, gym equipment, badminton. The list is extensive yet so is the quality.
