Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Gym Plus for a couple of years now and it’s great. Since I’ve been here they’ve upgraded a number of machines and replaced lots of equipment. The pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are a nice treat after a workout. Highly recommend

Classes are super, the pilates for beginners in the evenings is very popular! They offer a few 30 minute one to one sessions for free to get you started. I got my programme from Katia and I've been sticking to it so far!

Fantastic experience: Really like this gym. It has everything you need for an amateur anyway. Good machines. Parking. Over Aldi. Fast maintenance. Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, 1.5m pool (25m), clean toilets and changing rooms. Plenty of space. And Brianna's the best receptionist ever!! Really helpful and insightful. A gem. Would love to check the other gyms (if it has parking)

Fantastic experience: It’s the best gym in Ireland. The machines is frequently being renewed, the personal trainers are great and with an angina knowledge! Sooooo many classes in different times… Zumba, lift, hit, everything! They are so great! The app works really well and you can do everything through it! The reception helps with all things you need it! And after the work out you have 2 different types of sauna, what makes your results even better!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym with all the facilities. They have a well equipped weights section with free weights and machine weights, a fab spin room, loads of classes like yoga and HIIT. The pool is also nice and warm which the kiddies love too. The sauna and steam room is also a bonus

Positive experience: it's good a gym all round but it's often that at least one piece of equipment is out of order for far too long. some of the staff are lovely. some are very unwelcoming and it creates such a poor environment to try and improve yourself in. overall a decent experience and gets the job done. The changing rooms need a deep clean too, especially the tiles on the floor. ballsbridge spa is great too.

Fantastic experience: This gym is always clean and the classes are great! The app is an easy way to book the classes and all the trainers and reception staff are lovely. Great rate considering you get a personal training session every 4-6 weeks and can roam to the different locations!

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms iv been a member of or visited. Joined August 24, with specific goals and targets and the gym has everythimg anyone could need. More cardio than a club could need. Huge free weights section. Plenty of machine weights. 100s of multi functional classes. Like all gyms equipment breaks. Gym plus has a qr code to scan to let the venue know its down. And normally all issues are resolved within 3-5 working days which is very impressive. Pool for me is a must with kids and its great. Always have a life guard. Loads of pool toys for smallies to use. Sauna within the changing room is icing on cake. Free parking and ample amounts. Staff are the nicest. They all appear like best friends and they get to know a lot of people which is a great experience and creates a nice atmosphere. The members app is extremely well thought out. Opening hours good although weekends could be later. Price wise its averagely priced. Its by no means expensive at between 49-60 per month. Joining fees can I apply at times which is a pet hate but they do promos without them. Staff call you to see how they are perfoming which was a nice touch. Well done Gym Plus.

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym a year and a half ago and it was the best decision ever! It is always clean, amazing friendly staff, great classes! From boxing to Pilates, Yoga, HIT, suspension , there is something for everyone! I like the female only sauna in the changing rooms! Tonight’s yoga class with candles , was very special, it made me very happy

Fantastic experience: Genuine 5 stars. Clean changing rooms and gym. You'll get your whole gym circuit done without having to wait for a machine to free up even at peak hours.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Dublin recently and shopped for a good gym for a while - I go every day, nothing crazy, but a little more advanced than the average gym goer. This is a great combo between cost and availability. Lots of free weights, decent number of machines (could use another couple of leg machines though!). Clean locker room, nice showers. I don't do classes but it has those as well. The staff could not be nicer! Always with a smile and very helpful. I got a three month subscription, will definitely extend.

Fantastic experience: This gym has a great location, plus on top of it it's so accessible by public transport or by car. Having a huge parking lot and underground parking is a great benefit, in particular during the winter months and lashing rain. The gym is located on the second floor and has a lift and stairs. Live the fact it has a big enough pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Some days you just wanna relax. The equipment is in good nick, the place is clean and the staff is really friendly. This place offers swimming lessons for kids as well, instructors are very professional and do a great job.

Negative experience: Overcrowded, no floor space, ridiculous wait time for equipment as there's so many people trying to work out. I moved and can't cancel my membership even though I have 6 months left. My options are freeze for 3 months or transfer to someone else. So just an absolute waste. If you pay monthly you have to pay 2 months for a grace period. Not worth the money or hassle. Customer service took a week to respond every time as there was only 1 person available who was always on annual leave. Been trying to cancel for over a month and get a robotic response.

Positive experience: Edit: the gym reached out to apologize and dealt with it in a very polite and professional manner, which I really appreciated. I contacted the gym in advance and received an email that I could come by any time and someone could show me around and answer my questions, Unfortunately when I arrived, I was just asked: do you mind looking around yourself?" by a very tired looking Lady that didn't seem very keen in helping me. I wandered around a few minutes, not really sure what to do and left again, not even then I was offered ny help from Reception, they seemed happy that I was leaving. It looks like a very clean and pretty gym though.

Positive experience: Classes are generally great, I've been to pilates, HIIT, spin, & others led by Katia, Robert & Clara. They are professional, motivated & give clear instructions. However I've been to several classes led by another trainer & have been really shocked & disappointed by how poorly they've been led - overdoing one particular exercise with little guidance, speaking too low and unclear, no proper warm ups or cool downs, overall just really unprofessional & a waste of time. Rushing through classes with clearly zero real plans in place then overdoing the timings of stretches to make up for it. I gave this trainer a chance thinking maybe they were new but after a while I've given up which is a shame because their time slots work my schedule. I don't want to name the trainer as maybe they are new or very inexperienced but they are a male trainer.

Positive experience: Absolutely fantastic staff, with a wonderful smile and welcome every time I arrive. The gym facilities are perfect, the pool is brilliant. The spa facilities and showers could really do with a revamp, despite fantastic cleaning by the staff, nothing quite feels as fresh and sanitary as it would with some refreshing of old cracked tiles etc. Five stars if the facilities were revamped just a touch.

Positive experience: Great gym and the staff are friendly. I just have one downfall to say, and that is the closing hours on the weekend. I feel as though 6pm is quite early. I think it should stay open until at least 8pm on the weekend. Other than that, the gym is spacious and the pool and saunas are exceptional.

Fantastic experience: They actually close at least 15 minutes before the listed times. It's in their Ts&Cs. I think it's a bit scummy to hide that in the Ts&Cs and I was v disgruntled when I was caught out by it... but I still give 5 stars for a gym with all the equipment and facilities I'm looking for (including ample free underground parking) at a relatively good cost.

The community is so positive and the classes are always fun, friendly and a good challenge no matter my level of fitness throughout the year. It’s one of my favourite times of the day when I get to come to the gym. The facilities are always so clean and the staff are so friendly and professional! I love the steam, pool and sauna and the equipment is always so well maintained! I would definitely recommend you to join

Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, good selection of classes, an enjoyable experience! All the instructors are well skilled, good knowledge, keen to help and good maners. The reception staff are great too, they always answer the phone in time and help with different informations. Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with Greta facilities, pool is warm, gym equipment is clean and in working order. Staff are superb too.

Negative experience: Was a member, tried it out a few times and decided it wasn't the kind of place for me. Per the contract I was entitled to a refund as I was in the cooling off period, however having chased it up multiple times I still haven't received it, or even any communication explaining why not. Wouldn't go to a dishonest business that doesn't honour contract promises. Edit: below the owner claims use of the gym means no refund is permitted, however on their Terms and Conditions page under 'Fees and charges', they instead say 'If you have used the Club, we reserve the right to charge you a reasonable fee for your gym usage during this period.', not that no refund is permitted. https://gymplus.ie/terms-conditions/ I would have of course been happy with a partial refund with a reasonable fee given I used the gym a few times, but at no point until now did I receive any communication or explanation from the gym. So this seems like further dishonesty to me. I've been a member of multiple gyms and this is the first time I've experienced this kind of cheapness on a simple refund promise.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant aqua aerobics class with Katya lots of kickboxing and boxing underwater was a major high tempo workout lots of fun. Great facilities here sauna steam room and jacuzzi.

Positive experience: It’s a good gym layout is not the best but it works. Staff need to honour the closing times, if gym is closing at 6pm there shouldn’t be an announcement that it is closed at 5:45pm, because if so then the times need to reflect that online. We were rushed out of the place a good 15 minutes before closing. That is unfair to members arriving at 5pm for an hour workout

Positive experience: The gym is great really enjoying and most of its facilities however the sauna in the men’s changing is not up to scratch. It is not sealed properly and lets in a cold draft and is simply not hot if you are sitting on the bottom row.
