Negative experience: I came to this pool for the first time today, moving from Westwood for a trial before committing to an annual membership as it’s closer to home. I arrived at 06:25 for the 06:30 swim session. The door was already ajar, and when I walked in, a blonde staff member immediately accused me of opening it myself—something I hadn’t done. The way it was handled felt abrupt and unwelcoming. I left before even reaching the pool. As a business owner myself, I would never want my clients treated this way. If I were a younger person or someone new and nervous about joining, the experience could have been even more discouraging. The only saving grace was Aaron at the front desk, who dealt with the situation professionally and respectfully. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning to Westwood instead.

Positive experience: As a visitor the opening times for public access are quite restrictive. They need a more relaxed approach, which works well in other European countries

Fantastic experience: Place well staffed, attentived lifeguard would definitely bring the kids again. It also has a baby pool and the main pool has a deep end.

Negative experience: Renovated men's changing rooms. No hooks in new changing rooms and the showers don't have warm water. You couldn't make it up! Just such small but easy details to get right!

Positive experience: The gym is great, cleaning could be improved.

Negative experience: Shocking swimming lesson programme. My child has been attending swimming here for 3 years and has been in goldfish for the last 15 months, just a money maker, the class sizes are too big meaning the children are bored waiting for their turn or when they are all swimming together there are too many of them for the teacher to possibly see their progress. I received an email to re enrol this term and at the end it said if you won't be returning please phone reception as we love to hear feedback on how we can improve, I just got off the phone now and the guy couldn't have been less interested in the fact I wouldn't be enrolling my child again and didn't even ask her name, class or anything! Really disappointed we've wasted so much time and money here!

Negative experience: Both the kids and adult pool were absolutely filthy. Disgusting and shameful. How is this place even allowed open?

Positive experience: Could do with a good clean, and a bit of updating. I normally use the DLR in Loughlinstown and it is clean but the facility is MONKSTOWN was filthy this morning

Positive experience: Good swimming pools (with showers, lockers available). Small gym enough for basic workout, need to queue if peak hours.

Fantastic experience: Swimming lessons for the kids are amazing.my 7 year old loves it. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable but can still catch 20 mins nap. Adult swims are good and the gym has been done up staff are always friendly.

Fantastic experience: Certainly the best and most cost-effective gym I have ever used. I have been a regular for a year and find that the equipment is very good, well maintained and is being updated as it can be. The gym is also not too busy on most occasions and at 25 euros per month is very affordable! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have ever used. The price is excellent as well as the facilities. Always clean and you can actually access the machines - some I've been to in the past you can't get a turn. It also has a good mix of gym goers wether you are a beginner, intermediate or a gym rat. I can't comment on the swimming facilities as I haven't used them.
