Positive experience: Love the classes apart from the dance which I don’t do because I find it no benefit also love gym just wish music was consistent. The steam room should be condemned I felt nauseous with the fumes in there had to run out the door… finally carina is just amazing you guys should give her a massive Christmas bonus she is unbelievable

Negative experience: Waren auf der Durchreise und wollten duschen - Duschen alt, renovierungsbedürftig, das Wasser war kalt - das ganze für schlappe 5,00€. Bilder erspare ich mir. Aura? no words needed.

Negative experience: sauna always broke, hair dryer is in bad quality, and always busy.... bad service compared with other gyms in Dundalk, disappointed...

Negative experience: I haven't been a member in worse place. I asked for membership as I am a swimmer. I signed a contract for 6 months and 3 weeks later received an email that the swimming pool will be closed for month ( option freeze or pay full price was given to me). A month later I received another email that the prices goes up in month. After reopening the swimming pool there was a very limited time to access the swimming pool. Finally the sauna did not work ( was warm room). Changing room for adults only was full of toddlers as the renovation was ongoing for months. Shortly, I was framed up in contract that did not supply the service. I was not told that there is a plane of renovations. I was not given a choice. My only right was to pay. It's a scham as the place has definitely big potential but the management need to be replicated.

Negative experience: They are meant to be opening after refurbishing.... the fellas are expected to change in a marquee in reception, and there's nowhere to shower! Freezing cold and poorly set up... sorry but avoid until March, when things are planned to be finished

Negative experience: Screws loose,screws missing on treadmills upstairs and on most equipment it's a disgrace very hard to cancel your membership windows are busted equipment bare minimum better of saving money and go swim and lift your shopping

Negative experience: Extremely dirty and moldy tiles around pool, changing rooms and showers not much better. Hair dryers probably 100y old, you put 20c to start it and it turns off after 1min, so you have to keep adding 20c until your hair is at least half way dry. Life guards walking around pool in trainers that were obviously worn outside as well, not very hygienic. School kids are starting with swimming lessons and I’m actually scared of them catching yeast infection or something of them floor tiles. If lessons were not mandatory I would absolutely not let my child going there.

Positive experience: The staff at the reception is very nice. Swimming classes and pool facility is also really good. One big issue I faced is that the pool is mostly over booked. Either there are classes going on for kids or adults or it is too full. A slot system would be much better.

Positive experience: Quite expensive for kids' swimming lessons but otherwise the facilities are decent. Few of the showers in the stalls need some attention though along with a few of the latches on the changing stalls. Staff are all sound.

Negative experience: I went there today with my little one, unfortunately hygienic standard in that place leaves me saying just "no comment" sanitary system should be checking that place sometimes, it's big enough and cheap but lockers very small and most of them doesn't work. Showers and changing cabins as well extremelly dirty and smelly. I don't think we will be back there...

Negative experience: Ugly man in the pool looked at me and i didnt like it. Water was warm tho, unrelated but it tasted like urine. Good enough experience.

Positive experience: Overall great gym for beginners and intermediate. Although of recently the sauna and steam rooms had become colder. If they were hot it would be less time consuming.

Negative experience: I found teh changing rooms in here were awful dirty. And then teh staff weren't very friendly to us. The big pool is completley divided out for lane swimming so the young wans couldn't have a good play in there. They have a little tiny slide that only the baby really liked. The water is fairly could as well. the price is grand though.

Fantastic experience: I like the gym area and the people are really friendly, i can be focused on my exercises during COVID i just can enjoy the pool and i love the temperature. The staff and the service is excellent. I completely can recommend Aura. I would appreciate if it grows but there is no queue at the equipment up to now.

Fantastic experience: Love this leisure centre. Pool is really nice, and staff are great. It's very clean, membership is about average and you can figure out pretty quickly when the pool's quiet times are. Gym part is small but adequate with a good range of machines to suit everyone's needs.

Fantastic experience: Went with my wife's 2 young brothers for the fun hour (3-4pm on Saturday) and we all had a blast, her 7 year old brother loved the inflatable obstacle course.

Fantastic experience: I am currently taking adult swimming lessons in Aura Dundalk. I would highly recommend the adult swimming lessons, whatever level you are at. The instructors are very good. I find the instrucrors very good at motivating you & getting you to work on what you are doing wrong

Fantastic experience: As far as pools go it's perfectly fine. My daughter has done 2 of their swimming lessons and that was done well and professionally. Can't speak for the gym as I've never been.

Positive experience: I can only comment on the pool and sauna/steam room. Working hours are excellent The pool is very well lit and good for the most part but could do with a little more filtering/cleaning The changing rooms are decent I find them ok. The sauna and steam room however could do with a good renovation and is pretty outdated. For the most part it does the job but it's the biggest drawback of the facilities. Also an ice pool/or bath or a cryo chamber would push this place to 21st century. And perhaps a sensory deprivation tank could be a massive cherry on top, especially with their growing popularity and scarcity in the area.

Positive experience: Aura is a nice place. Very busy, changing rooms could be cleaner, and more lanes/ bigger pool. Usually only one or two lanes open, and a tad expensive. But goof place overall.

Positive experience: Nice place for kid's lessons. Very relaxing to go there. Only thing: shoes should really be forbidden where the kids walk barefoot for hygienic reasons and showers should be compulsory before getting into the water.

Negative experience: Jim is working up to 9:30 not till 22:00 as on the website, stuff spill watter all over the floor making a small pond so you can dress your self properly after 9:40, showers are dirty and only two of them working properly, lockeroom space is small.

Negative experience: Today is the second time I have gone to take my grandchildren swimming only to be told the baby pool not working correctly. When I asked could they not put this information up on the website so i at least don't have 3 very disappointed kids.. was given a shrug of shoulders. Will travel that bit extra in future to Newry.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant swimming pool with every facility needed. It has a full 25 metre pool and a full-size gym. It is missing a sauna or hot tub but most people would go for fitness. I go very often and it is a great pool. Very clean and unlike other pools I know of, the water actually doesn’t taste bad. The price is actually quite good but recently they put it up considerably. Now it is 4.50€ for a child, 5.50€ for a student and 8€ for an adult. Quite expensive but you can purchase 5 swims for 25 € which works out great value for an adult.

Positive experience: Dundalk's only public swimming pool. It has a gym and aerobics/spinning studio. It provides swimming classes for young and old, water aerobics. There is plenty of seating. The staff are very good and the pool and building in general is very clean. However, parking can be a nightmare at peak times, and the carpark is very poorly lit at night time.
