Positive experience: Need to sort out air conditioning

Negative experience: I’d say this gym is… fine. Would I call it great? Probably not. Is it worth the monthly fee? Definitely not. I’ve seen some feedback on reviews that mention the investment in equipment, but from my experience, that doesn’t always show. For example, there are only two stair masters, and one of them was out of order for months when I first joined. More recently, one of the lat machines broke down, leaving only an older version available, which was always occupied during peak times. I actually had to change my routine because of this, something I’ve never had to do in other gyms. Another issue is the atmosphere late in the evening if you want a late workout. If you’re still working out past 9:30 pm, staff tend to hover around, which feels uncomfortable. On one occasion, someone even turned off the fan while I was still using it. There is also never space when class takes place. There are 2 areas with free weights and you can imagine how cramped it feels when one section is occupied. Overall, it’s not a terrible gym (there is a lovely staff member who genuinely looks like he loves being there and brings a lovely atmosphere when he’s about) but since moving to Drogheda (Ballymackenny area), it’s been my only option. I recently heard a Dublin gym may be opening nearby, and I honestly hope it’s close enough.

Negative experience: I was somewhat disappointed with the gym's equipment. The machines are subpar compared to what I was accustomed to at my previous gym in Dublin, where I paid a €40 monthly fee. Many of the machines do not accommodate shorter individuals and appear quite outdated. Additionally, the absence of a leg curl machine was noticeable. The pool experience was also less than satisfactory. The lack of regulated lane usage was disconcerting, as others could interrupt my swim by joining my lane without notice. I believe it’s imperative that trainers manage this situation more effectively, as sharing lanes without prior arrangement can be very disruptive. I sincerely hope the management considers these issues and makes the necessary upgrades to both the machines and the overall operational protocols. Edit: the air con in the gym is broken. It's a sauna in there. Please owners have it fixed !!! It's dangerously hot.

Sharon, Samantha and Aishling are so friendly at reception. Everyone is so helpful. Grainne's yoga is very good. Great way to stretch out. It's a great gym for all ages, caters for everyone. 5 stars

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership and for 2 months everything was ok but now suddenly they charged me , I did not notice it at first, called to say do not want to use it again, I did not like it. that said they won't give me money back , so I said fine I will use it then. they refuse to let me use what I ve paid for. Nobody ever made me cry, but they managed it, they are thieves, I feel very sad and cheated.

Negative experience: the classes are good, but usually full, swimming lessons for children very uneffective, but the most disappointing administration- constant misunderstandings, never inform you of any change to schedules which is just a waste of time in the end. won't be extending my membership

Fantastic experience: Really friendly staff, clean environment and very reasonable prices for swimming lessons. The swim coaches are all so professional and friendly and great with the kids. My nervous beginner is now a very competent swimmer in a short space of time. Staff are always so welcoming at reception and Yvonne is always a joy to deal with. Highly recommend

Negative experience: They act like Fraudsters, when you sign a contract with them, be careful, you may not be able to cancel it, and you will owe them a lot of money without even visiting the gym!

Plenty of equipment, only hard to get the machine you want between peak time 7-8pm but otherwise no problem. I’d recommend here over other gyms in Drogheda town as it’s out of the town with plenty of parking and it has a Sauna, Steam room and swimming pool.

Fantastic experience: A very welcoming gym for those who may be nervous about getting started. It’s the only gym I have ever felt confident working out in. Staff and members are very friendly. Gym equipment is of very high standard. They offer amazing classes included as part of your membership! The swimming pool, steam room and sauna areas are maintained very well, changing rooms and showers are always spotless! Highly recommended trying this gym, and potentially joining!

Negative experience: Take my kids swimming. A swimming instructor, dark hair girl with glasses always on her phone when she is ment to be watching the kids. Also the place needs some signs saying no pictures. Last week a women was taken pictures of the kids. In other gyms phones are band around the pool.

Positive experience: The gym, overall, is satisfactory, but it has some drawbacks. One major issue is the lack of a proper EZ Curl bar. There is only one bar for the entire gym, and on some days, it can be overcrowded with up to 40 members. This can be frustrating for those who want to use the bar to do their exercises. Additionally, the gym can be quite disorganized, with weights and dumbbells mixed up and scattered around, which can take some time to find what you need. Lastly, there is no preacher curl available, which can be inconvenient for some gym-goers. During gym classes, the instructors often turn on loud music from their speaker, even though there is already music playing in the gym, which can be disruptive and overwhelming for some.

Positive experience: Really nice place to workout, staff are friendly and approachable, loads of equipment that works and is cared for. Changing rooms are nice and big with an area for adults only. Showers do the job, over all a nice place, havent been in the pool yet, loads of choice with classes and on at good times..

Positive experience: Eh its okay, but some machines are in a bad state and missing pieces, sanitizers are broken and paper gets stuck.
