Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member in CityGym now for 8 months and have made massive progress in powerlifting since I joined. From day one everyone in CityGym, everyone has been so supportive, kind and friendly. Would 100% recommend this gym for its top spec equipment, unique member experience and caring ethos.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing atmosphere, different to any gym I’ve ever trained at. All the staff are so friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and are willing to help with anything you need. Equipment is tops, no shortage of racks and platforms. Couldn’t recommend this gym enough!

Fantastic experience: CityGym offers a great and super friendly environment to train in. High quality personal trainers with knowledge of anything related to fitness or the body is beyond amazing. I had an amazing and dedicated PT, Rob. He made me addicted to lifting the way I would never dreamt of lifting. He was always making sure I'm in good form, using the right techniques. He is also supportive when I'm in the gym training by myself. I would not have discovered my strength if he had not pushed to challenge myself. I am delighted with the result I achieved in just 2 months. Tasha is very approachable for any advice or help. Keep up the good work guys

Fantastic experience: Without question, the best strength training facility in Limerick. The equipement is top notch; Eleiko & Rogue calibrated plates, competition spec bars, powerlifting combo racks, belt squat machine, and a whole lot more. But more importantly, the gym is a welcoming place for everyone regardless of if you've been lifting for years or brand new to exercise. The people who train there are friendly and supportive. And the coaches are knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. Just try it out and you'll be hooked! Yurt.

Fantastic experience: My son David is a member for the last number of years. The staff & it's members really looked after him, took him to competitions & helped him with he's diet, training etc. They are like a family to him. 5 stars all the way.

Fantastic experience: Began here when they first opened for an all female beginners group and they welcomed me in with open arms. When I was ready to come back I was met with the same open arms. An excellent place to train, learn the proper lifting techniques and such a friendly atmosphere. From the most friendly, helpful staff, to the PT sessions to open gym, I would recommend emailing the lads to take the first step to joining the city gym family. And the tunes they play while you're slinging weights around are perfect too!

Fantastic experience: Joined the gym over two years ago and haven’t ever looked back. Started off with personal training sessions and moved over to join the most amazing powerlifting team and group of people I could ever have asked for. Massively supportive group and totally unlike your typical commercial gym. Coaches are always there to answer questions or just have a chat if you need it.

I look forward to each and every time I get to walk in the CityGym doors to meet all the people there who have become friends of mine. Fantastic experience: I joined CityGym 6 months ago and I can honestly say it's the most friendly and welcoming gym you could ever enter. Whether you're a powerlifter or just looking to become the best physical version of your self I could not recommend CityGym more. The staff are so helpful and are always there to answer any questions you may have. The atmosphere is constantly amazing so you can't help coming back again and again.

Fantastic experience: I've added over 20kg on my total in about 3 months of online coaching with CityGym, and I've lost almost 10kg in bodyweight while doing it! A great bunch of people - no egos, zero BS and the positivity surrounding the gym itself has to be witnessed in person. I'd recommend CityGym coaching (online or in-person) for anyone, but particularly for a lifter that feels lost or has stagnated. I had zero motivation to continue my long-term cut, was convinced I was just a bad deadlifter and probably not cut out to be a Powerlifter...that changed the moment I signed on with CityGym. Ye won't regret giving them a call!

Fantastic experience: What can i say, I'm 39 years young and this is my first gym experience and didn't know what to expect, but what a fantastic 2 sessions done already with my personal trainer Jack, and his knowledge of the gym/getting fit and strong is second to none. Also I've checked out basically all the gyms in limerick and this place CityGym is by far the best for me as it has the old school vibe about it and none of this high tech S--t u see in alot of gyms, this is get in do what uv to do and learn alot while doin it, and ur doing it right which was my problem for years doin workouts from home. So happy i made the decision to join a gym but also i picked the right one? Thanks again guys.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym in Limerick, nowhere else comes close! The equipment is top quality, the coaches are excellent, knowledgeable and are very approachable, and the community ethos in CityGym is a thing of beauty!

Fantastic experience: It's impossible for me to recommend Citygym more, whether for powerlifting or someone just starting off. I've been a member for a year and a half and have added over 100kg to my total in that time. The atmosphere is incredible and the coaches both helpful and knowledgeable. I have met an amazing group of people who have been unbelievably supportive both inside and outside the gym. Genuinely couldn't even consider training elsewhere now.

Fantastic experience: Was only in Limerick for 2 days, got a day pass here not realising it was a powelifting gym. Worked out wonderfully as I've only really used machines so far and one of the guys (rob? I think) gave me loads of clear and helpful advice on proper form on the deadlift and squat, he spent loads of time with me after i literally just walked in off the street, very grateful for that. Everyone was very approachable and friendly from what i experienced and what i saw of theres. Great vibe in the place. Wish that it was my local. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

CityGym has an amazing owner and incredible coaches especially Gar and Stephen ❤️ For me CityGym isn’t just a normal gym they are now family to me and have helped so much as a lifter and as a person. Fantastic experience: Joined City Gym just over a year ago best decision I ever made. I loved the circuits classes in the mornings. They ain't no ordinary circuit! I was just looking to get back into training I couldn't have expected how much joining City Gym has changed my life. It's not just a gym it's another home. The atmosphere is very very unique here. The love, support, guidance, the laughs!! And it's all down to the coaches & the love they bring everyday. The lads really know they're stuff & always willing to help. I genuinely look forward to my every one of my training sessions here.

Fantastic experience: I joined CityGym online in October last year and haven’t looked back since!! since beginning my online coaching with CityGym I’ve managed to greatly improve my squat, bench and deadlift and my overall strength, but what is most important to me is that I’ve met some amazing people trough this gym who I now call friends, the people in CityGym both employees and members are the most welcoming, supportive individuals you’ll ever meet! I’ve had the pleasure of training in citygym three times so far and everytime I wished I lived closer so I could always train there couldn’t recommend this place enough honestly ❤️

Fantastic experience: Fantastic set up in CityGym Limerick! I was in town for a couple of weeks and enquired if it would be possible to train there. Everyone I came in contact with was really friendly, helpful and supportive. Thanks to Gar who responded promptly to my enquiries, to Arthur and Rob in the gym for their expertise and to Rachel & the rest of the members for making me feel so welcome! Would highly recommend the gym, great equipment and everyone training there is very friendly. It was a pleasure to be part of such a relaxed and positive environment. Fantastic experience: Signing up for City Gym's powerlifting classes was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my fitness. What once took me eight months of training by myself I managed to accomplish in three months at City Gym. The equipment is first class, the coaches are kind, helpful and professional and I always feel welcome and comfortable there. If you want to get into powerlifting, or are experienced and want that extra push in your training sessions, I cannot recommend City Gym enough.

Fantastic experience: Moving to Limerick at the start of year and changing jobs was stressful. One of my first prioritys was to pick a gym that I could train in and meet people! Dons and Rob made my decision easy, City Gym Limerick by far is a No 1 facility from first class equipment to amazing informative coaches. Arthur has been an invaluable source of information in nursing a broken elbow back to strength. No matter if it's your 1st or 100th time through the door everyone is made welcome with a friendly face from coaches and other gym goers. Keep up the good work City Gym!!

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been in period. I've been training in there for 5 months with the most exceptional coaches you'll find. Constructive coaching off some of the most passionate trainers with years of experience between them!! With great attention to detail and such a friendly atmosphere it's easy to train in there! A quick chat with any coach could potentially add kgs to lifts and help with form. Boasting competitive national athletes at junior and senior level, and a world athlete in Arthur lynch, certainly with more to follow....Gar Benn(owner) is creating a powerlifting empire in the heart of limerick. Fantastic experience: fantastic place! this is not a gym where you just could enter to train and leave again after , this is an environment full of top, positive vibed people (also top athletes) that will encourage and even offer to help you through your session to get the best from you. Personally for me what went from a simple enquiry for assistance from a CityGym coach for an upcoming comp , to now being a place where i train week-in week-out with the best of equipment within the facility, just shows that it is the best platform for you to grow physically, mentally and definitely socially! 5 stars from me.
