Fantastic experience: Very clean beautiful spot staff all friendly

Negative experience: The gym does not have enough ventilation, on hot days it is unbearable to stay inside.

Positive experience: I am planning to join this gym tomorrow. It is not nearby but that is the only gym commutable from my place. They don't charge for joining fees plus on some weekdays they give classes as well. Let see how it turns out.

Positive experience: Ok so the gym has no air conditioning which means that you will probably die with no water at peak summer heat, to make it worse they also installed ventilation that brings air from outside so if its 25 degrees outside that air will only make it worse, but atleast there's new machines even though the old ones were fine. In general the gym is good though most of the staff is also friendly.

Negative experience: I find it unacceptable that a gym has neither air conditioning nor even a window to allow fresh air in — the heat is unbearable. Inside, it feels like 35 degrees, and the showers are uncomfortably hot even in the summer. We pay a monthly fee, yet we’re only allowed to use the gym once a day. If you’re running late and decide to come back later for cardio, you’re simply not allowed.

Positive experience: Good Gym, Lack of AC, gets really warm especially on hot days. would like to see this improved

The equipment is in great condition and there are a lot of the same so you can workout even if there's a lot of people. The price is the lowest among all the gyms I could find when I moved in. If you are a person who just want to workout this gym is perfect.

Fantastic experience: This gym is absolutely outstanding! The recent upgrades have taken it to a whole new level, making it one of the best fitness facilities around. The equipment is top-class, with an extensive range of machines and free weights to suit every workout need. I was a member in 2009, and it’s incredible to see how they have consistently improved and expanded over the years. Training here in the afternoons is always a pleasure—the atmosphere is great, and the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. BD has truly set a new standard for gyms, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Positive experience: Great gym. Some of the newer machines have an unusual range of motion. Particularly the ab twisting machine. Otherwise, all good Sound system issues seem to have been resolved which is great.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for many years and it has only improved over the years and the recent transition is another step up. Great gym and amazing value. Always busy so has a good buzz about the place but so much equipment so never an issue.

Fantastic experience: Always thought must be up there as a top gym in Dublin - even just for sheer size and breadth of equipment, friendly staff and the free reserved car parking. Im blown away by the new refurb and layout, lots great new technogym cardio and machines but for me its the new central sled station and that still plenty barbell racks, kettlebells and plates around. Love the whole sound and ligbting vibe i find perfect for zoning out from outside world and getting some good work in.

Positive experience: Pretty big gym and the value is really hard to beat - but the music is way too loud. 90% of everyone at a gym is wearing headphones anyways, so what's the point of blaring music? It's so loud that you can't even hear your own music. Other than that, it's a solid deal.

Positive experience: As much as I enjoy working out with the new equipment that has been installed, I wish they brought back the previous leg curl and leg extension machines, the new ones don’t serve them justice.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member here for 2.5 years and have always appreciated the consistent updates and great machine selection. However, this latest update has been disappointing. The gym replaced all equipment with Technogym machines, compromising functionality for a uniform aesthetic. Many of the best and most-used machines, including the bicep curl machine, ab crunch machine, leg extension/hamstring curl machines, and pec deck machine, have been removed or replaced with less effective alternatives. These changes have reduced the effectiveness of workouts and feel like a downgrade for regular users.

Fantastic experience: Brillant gym , what a job they have done, all brand new equipment, the painting and lighting is great now thats it’s finished, plenty of everything no waiting around for machines, Great job well done to all involved. 10/10

Positive experience: Decent gym, lots of equipment, drinking water fountain. Be careful with the showers as the water is so ridiculously hot that it will burn you, there is no way to adjust it but there is one cold shower.

Negative experience: I was due to renew my membership and was asking for some discount. Unfortunately Bendunne Gym Blanchardstown treats all members the same, no discount doesn't matter if you are new or existing member.Pity!!!

Negative experience: It's a good gym with wide variety of equipment but Way too busy, in my opinion. Need to come in with a group of 5 and swap equipment between each other like most people there do in order to get anything done

Negative experience: Why does the music need to be so loud? I can't ever listen to my own things in my headphones...

Fantastic experience: State of the art weight lifting gym in Dublin. I paid 10€ for a daily pass, more than worth it, the receptionist was welcoming and the gym has got basically everything you need for any kind of workout. Will be back anytime I’m in Dublin. There is lockers but padlocks are not provided/sold, so you gotta bring your own.

Fantastic experience: Quite simply the largest and best equipped gym I've ever been to (and I'm a regular traveller and gym-goer). Excellent quality equipment, well used but in great condition; multiple types of every conceivable rack, bar, bench, plate loaded and cable machines. Friendly staff, day passes available, excellent. One side note, I'm not a fan of the number or tone of the member behaviour signs, they seem really over the top. It's not enough to deter or detract from an otherwise excellent gym, but it did seem a bit overbearing. I understand gyms need rules and I gladly follow them, but there are better ways of getting people to come along with you.

Fantastic experience: Popped in for a guest visit recently and it was a very positive experience. Huge private car park reserved for clients so no issues parking. Don't know if I've ever seen a bigger gym inside - hundreds of machines (cardio and weights), free weights, smaller rooms for classes etc. For the rowers reading this, there were about 10 concept2 in decent condition. Staff were very helpful and kind. Equipment well maintained and clean. For info you need a padlock for the lockers, though on my visit the staff were kind enough to lend me one. Warm powerful showers. Happy to return on next visit to Dublin or recommend to others.

Positive experience: I've been an annual member here for a few years. It was one of the best gyms I've ever been to. It had a sauna, steam room and swimming pool. but then they removed everything to get more members. Now ??? It's just the ordinary place so I canceled my membership.

Fantastic experience: For five incredible years, I've been a dedicated regular at this gym, and the transformation has been astounding. Going from skinny to muscular, I've built nearly every muscle in my body here. With just the right amount of essential equipment, it cuts through the fluff found in other overpriced, gimmicky gyms that prey on those who don't understand muscle gain. I've proudly recommended this gym to over 10 people, including my girlfriend, and they all love it too. The camaraderie and support found here is simply unmatched. The only thing that could make this gym even more amazing would be to bring back the pool and jacuzzi. Those were truly the golden days, and their return would complete this already outstanding fitness experience.

Fantastic experience: Great place! So reasonably priced, too. It's pretty unbeatable! Except for just one thing.... Most people who go to the gym bring their own ear buds or ear phones to listen to their own music as they work out. So WHY is the music in the gym played so loudly? I went and bought really expensive noise cancelling ear buds, for this very reason, yet a lot of the time I can STILL hear the gym's music in the background??? Turn it down a bit please, guys!

Negative experience: They made a new promotional video showing tons of new equipment and machines, so I join and then less than 3 days later the entirety of the fleet of new machines completely disappears. Staff are none the wiser and don’t know why they have all gone, can’t even give any reason or explanation for it and don’t seem to know if they’ll even be coming back. Very shoddy business tactics, very strange how a new promotional video gets posted and the social media coverage says there is new machines and then all of a sudden everything gets removed. Tried cancelling membership but they will not issue any refunds over the matter.

Negative experience: The gym itself is great however the direct debit system is terrible it tried to take payment yesterday when it couldn’t they cancelled my membership instantly without a retry or anything just an email saying membership cancelled and only thing you can do is sign up all over again which is a hassle and also means paying the sign up fee I’ve been a member for 5 months but after this I’m not joining again

Negative experience: Huge gym, but way too much people. Any day from 5 - 9 pm it's crazy. Your looking at 20 - 30 minutes to get to one machine

Negative experience: The gym itself is not bad, however, we missed a dd and even tho I have wrote an email to see how can we pay for the gym since it seemed like dd will not represent, automatic answer said will get an answer in the next 3-5 working days, and two days after I got an email from Ben Dunne our membership is canceled because dd was not paid. No second try in dd, no answer, wrote another email after, still haven't gotten an answer back. We have paid again like we are joining for the first time which is ridiculous and there should be a better way to manage non contract plans. If dd was missed there should be a link on the website where you can go an manually pay cause there could be million of reasons dd could be missed.
