Positive experience: Fixed all the broken equipment to be fair to them except for one of the cable machines, organised all the dumbells, car park can be packed but not the worst anymore

Positive experience: Since the last time I have made a review, the gym staff has brought in a lot of major improvements to the place, such as new benches and a new pec dec machine. There is still a lot to improve, but the place is getting closer to being called as a “number one” Carigaline gym after a short period of time, if they keep up like that. With all due respect, I thank you for your efforts!

Fantastic experience: I love going to Catalyst. The staff are super friendly, very knowledgeable and always helpful. The atmosphere is very chill. The size of the gym is perfect for me, as I find larger sized gyms daunting. It is a hidden gem in the village with its own private car park and also easily accessible on foot. Louise, Ciara, Eve and all the staff are always on hand and the gym is a credit to them. In relation to the racking of the weights and the general condition of the equipment, if people respected them, tidied up after themselves and were more mindful of the equipment there would be no housekeeping issues. The staff are there to help, not clean up after and "mother" the users of the gym. Keep up the great work Catalyst.

Fantastic experience: Not just a gym! But a fitness community! I have been training in this gym approx a year now and I love it the staff are always so so nice and very helpful the gym goers are also top notch as they are super friendly and not there to show off but genuinely love to workout out! This gym facilitates everyone from teens to seniors in a non judgemental relaxed environment. Their equipment is brilliant their undergoing a few upgrades atm so im looking forward to all the new updates in the mean time they still have everything needed for any gym member to get a great workout in! No they don't have showers but it is a local gym so I wouldn't use these facilities anyway. Bathroom and changing rooms is more than enough. This gym also contributes to the community as it allows teens to work a day or 2 in the gym in order to workout there for free which I think is an amazing opportunity for teens work experience and a flex! Can't go wrong. Their classes are phenomenal from spinning to hiit to bums n tums all run by local trained professionals. This gym is a gem in the carrigaline community keep it up gang!

Negative experience: No showers available, even though it’s €15 to visit without a membership (even if you go with someone who has one). The equipment feels pretty old, and the weights weren’t organised but there is a good range of equipment. There also weren’t enough of the same-sized weights particularly considering how busy the gym was. More signs would help to remind people to wipe down equipment too, as some people didnt do this.

Negative experience: Lots to improve. Upholstery of the equipment are in very poor conditions, small space and few equipments considering is always busy. Cleaning could also improve. Even so is the best (maybe only?) choice in Carrigaline.

Fantastic experience: Gym classes are the bees knees. A great work out! Louise and Eve do most of the classes and both are brilliant trainers!

Negative experience: Have been going to catalyst for over a year now. As a local its one of the best in the vicinity and overall pleased. With that into consideration i had an awful experience today as i had decided to bring one of my best friends for a trial to show her what catalyst has to offer and drive business to catalyst to only be hit with a 15 euro barrier at the front desk. After having explained she has never been to the gym and is exploring her options, the person at the reception was pretty stuck on the payment saying it's the rules. The majority of other gyms offer a complimentary trial for existing members introducing a friend to their gym. Very dissapointing and feel very dissrispected as a regular user of the gym in my own home town. EDIT: Also, I had previously brought another friend of mine a few months prior, first time / trial he was let in for free (what rules) and now a member ☺️ been very happy to be recommending you guys but not sure after today...

Fantastic experience: TRX classes are quality!. Members all seem to be (on average) getting more results , more quickly in my view compared to other gyms I've been to, Great buzz there
