Below are the teaching aims and assessment guidelines for each swimming lesson level. Your child should be able to complete the competencies in the previous level to be eligible to book a place.

Beginner 2: TurtlesStreamlined on front without floats. Confident on back without floats. Attempt arm action. Kicking on front with float. Push & Glide.

Tog off quickly at the viewing area – “drop off area” – and parents exit via the other viewing area door with child’s swim gear and exit building via the main door.

• Children under 10 must be accompanied in the water by an adult over 18 at all times. • Swim Caps must be worn and cost €2 at reception. • Children under 2 are free but must wear a swim nappy sold at reception for €2.20 or purchased with your online tickets. • If possible, please arrive beach ready and 5 minutes prior to the session start time. Check-in with your email address at reception. • Social Distancing between families at all times. • After the final wave, exit the pool promptly. Quick rinse-only shower and 15 minutes to change if possible. • If you require any special assistance or some more time to complete the above steps, please contact us prior to your attendance.

From Tuesday, December 7th, all gym and fitness class users must provide a Covid certificate. Studio fitness classes will initially be limited to 8 people in the morning and 10 in the evening. Booking is essential.
