Fantastic experience: I am attending to Darren’s PT classes for 3 years now. I made my commitment, effort and consistency. Darren has a fantastic experience, vast knowledge about fitness, human anatomy and gym equipment and most important he knows well body mechanism, so he can adapt every fitness exercise to every fitness level of his clients. His classes are tough but at the same time my body feels so energetic with better wellbeing. Because I am serious about my fitness and wellbeing, Darren helped me to create a proper diet and fitness program including training for HYROX, DEKA and TRYKA, which I am competing on regular basis. I sleep better, I have a better energy and mood and my health is super good. I have never been so fit in my life like nowadays. Thank you Darren for looking after me so well. I can highly recommend to join Darren’s classes (private, semi private or group). The Stables owners and the crew created incredible, fit and valuable community here. I am very lucky.

Fantastic experience: I've gone to The Stables twice now to do the obstacle course - once for a hen party and once with a fitness group. The obstacles were fun, challenging and varied. The instructors were great and take account for the different abilities in the group. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it as something fun to do that's a little bit outside the norm.

Fantastic experience: The girls had a brilliant time at the 11th birthday party. The facilities are excellent, the girls had great fun trying everything. Their only complaint was that they wanted to stay longer. Special thanks to Siùn for being so patient and helping everyone with all of the obstacles. We loved it!

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend this place enough. On a recent visit from Australia we organised a family get together - completing the obstacle course as a family/team bonding activity. Our instructor Síun was absolutely terrific and so accommodating as we had 4 kids with us aged 5/6/7/8 which she happily adapted the course for. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Adaptable for all levels it was a very fun family friendly activity which was enjoyed thoroughly by young and old. Even my 70 year old Dad gave it a go! The staff were so welcoming and helpful and really made it a very fun experience! We’ll be back again for sure.

Fantastic experience: I was looking to get both an aerobic and strength workout, and the early morning classes at The Stables with Darren have given me exactly that! As someone getting back into working out, I have been able to pace myself and get feedback on my technique with the exercises. Completing the morning classes sets me up for a productive day!

Fantastic experience: Happy faces on kids give the best review possible of any places visited for a day out and our boys and girls were beaming coming out of the Stables and are already asking for another trip there. The staff are very friendly and well organised and the facilities are brilliant and suitable for all ages..we had 8 to 16 year old and everyone had a ball( as well as this 50 year old kid). Definitely going to do it again in the not too distant future

Fantastic experience: We recently had my sons 13th birthday here and celebrated with 9 of his friends. They had a great time, the instructor was so good with them and nothing was too much trouble. We had a room at the end to have food, cake etc which was great. Everyone had a ball doing the activities especially the water ones! Great venue for a birthday party for kids who love outdoor activities!

Fantastic experience: Team Bonding On Saturday 31st May, we took to the road and headed for The Stables in Gorey, Co Wexford. Team building exercises can be highly entertaining, but they also encouarge working together and improving communication skills. We divided into two teams to compete against each other and bring out friendly rivalry amongst team mates! Our teams competed in 6 challenges over a 5km Obstacle Course. On a mixed trail terrain, there are over 35 exciting obstacles to negotiate including Ireland's longest Rope Bridge crossing, Fireman's Folly, Sub Terra Fied, Monkey Splash and the Tarzan Rope Swing. Once a winner was decided on the very last challenge, the losing team had to take a dip helped in by the winners! In the Oat Barn we enjoyed a good laugh and well earned bite to eat. The Stables have excellent shower and changing facilites on site also. Huge thanks to the fantastic staff at The Stables Gorey. Lastly, well done to all the players who took part and enjoy the memories!!

Fantastic experience: I have been doing semi private PT classes at the Stables with Darren for 3 years now. Before this I always hated the gym and never stuck to going to one for more than a month! Turns out I just hadn’t found the right gym! The venue itself is fantastic, outdoor training with lots of fresh air and sunshine when the weather suits but even on rainy days the facility is airy and spacious, not like other stuffy gyms that I have been to. Training in semi PT classes is tailored to suit individual needs. Darren gives great guidance and advice and is always there to provide support and encouragement. I would highly recommend The Stables Fitness as a training venue. It really is a gym like no other!

Positive experience: we'd a great afternoon with our Under 14 girls football team, they really enjoyed it. Not everyone was up for every obstacle but that was ok which i really liked , i dont think any of them felt under pressure to do anything they weren't comfortable with

Fantastic experience: We took the Rathdrum U16 rugby girls to The Stables to complete the assault course. Its a Super venue and laid out course. Afterwards we used a converted building onsite to present awards and pizza. The building is fabulous converted It was perfect for us. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Anyone looking to run a team building or as we did end of season event I'd happily recommend The Stables.

Fantastic experience: I had my daughter’s birthday party here with 10 friends. She absolutely loved it and so did each and every one of her friends. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend The Stables Gorey, Fantastic facility and is a gym run by very good people . We booked a private Hyrox sim for our own gym day out with Paddy and Anna and they were brilliant. They ran the event so well and were a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process.

Aine, our instructor, is an absolute asset to the business – her commanding presence and ability to manage 20+ teenage boys with ease was nothing short of remarkable. Her energy and professionalism made every session unforgettable. The amenities are second to none, offering top-notch facilities that catered perfectly to our team’s needs. Each visit brought new and exciting team-building activities, keeping the boys engaged and fostering incredible memories that will last a lifetime. On top of that, the cost was very reasonable, making it an exceptional value for such high-quality experiences. The Stables is a must-visit for any group looking to build camaraderie and create lasting moments. We can’t recommend it enough! Thank you, Aine and team, for making our preparation so special!

Fantastic experience: We recently visited the Stables for my sons 8th birthday party, it’s an absolutely beautiful place ,impressive facilities (calm quiet & clean) Instructor June took care of us & our 11 kids so well from start to finish they were all of mixed abilities but they all rave about the fantastic time around the course. Everyone was soaked on return but after a change of clothes delighted to tuck into some hot food which we had arranged from nearby takeaway and laid out in the party room , a beautiful stone building which is decked out for the purpose. From my initial enquiry to the Stables about the event I was impressed with the response time the help & the care given to us by Nicola, Anna & June. Thank you all, see you again !

Fantastic experience: We brought our under10 camogie team to The Stables to do the obstacle course for an end of season outing. Was very easy to organise and the girls all loved it. The instructor was very good and the activities suited the age group very well. The use of the barn afterwards for refreshments was very handy aswell

Fantastic experience: We had our end of season day out in the Stables for the under 13s GAA teams. They all had a great day out and we were minded well by our instructor. A great place for teams to challenge themselves and to have a bit of craic too.

Fantastic experience: The Stables is an absolutely excellent venue for kids of all ages. We brought a group of U6s and the event was brilliant and cared for all abilities. The organisation ahead of the day was really good making the day itself run very smoothly. Anna and her team are always there to help and assisit, I couldn't recommend The Stables highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Attended The stables with U12 camogie team for year end bonding session and they absolutely loved it! They all got soaked and had great fun on all the obstacles. Attending again next week the clubs u8 and u10 boys and would highly recommend to other clubs and for birthday parties.

Fantastic experience: We (Donaghmore / Ashbourne GAA U9 Girls) had a great time at The Stables. Paddy and his team looked after us very well. The Obstacle course was a great hit with the girls, with plenty of variety for all abilities. I'd recommend The Stables for any teams or groups looking for a day out. Great set up.

Fantastic experience: We brought 39kids here at the weekend for an end of season day out for them, They all had such a brilliant time. I would highly recommend this place, its amazing. The entire process from start to finish was extremely well Organised By Anna and Patrick. On the day we were lucky to be accompanied by two lovely staff members also. Fantastic experience: We brought a group of 8 year old boys for a trip as a team bonding session/start of season event and we had a ball. The premises is great, and suited for all age groups with some coaches getting involved too. There were staff with us along the course and they were great with the kids and really encouraging. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and ensured that each child was excited and comfortable with the activities planned for the day. The facilities at The Stables are top-notch, providing a perfect blend of adventure and safety. The instructors are incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything and making sure each boy felt confident in what they were doing. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it really brought the best out of our team! The range of activities available kept the boys engaged and entertained throughout our visit. Whether it was interacting with the animals or exploring the beautiful surroundings, there was never a dull moment. It was wonderful to see the boys laughing and bonding as they tried new things together. What truly stood out was the staff's ability to tailor the experience to our group's needs. They took the time to connect with each child, recognizing their strengths and encouraging them to push their boundaries. For many of the boys, this day was not just about fun but also about building confidence and teamwork. Overall, I can't recommend The Stables highly enough! Thank you to the amazing staff for making our outing with the Gorey Rangers U10 boys a day to remember. We look forward to coming back for another experience

Fantastic experience: We hosted our twins 8th birthday party alongside 23 of their friends and we can't rate our experience highly enough, the boys had the best time, the 2 girls who hosted our party were exceptional and the facilities were spotlessly clean. We will definitely return and book into summer camps.

From beginning to end the kids had an absolutely fantastic afternoon the fun just never stopped the instructor Darren was brilliant with them from playing games on the Astro and then on to climbing rock walls, monkey bars, rope swings, rope and tyre bridges, tunnels and net crawls and finished off the spin round the outdoor obstacles with a dip in the lake he really went above and beyond to make sure they had fun. Finally we had use of their party barn for treats and cake. The kids are already planning the next trip I couldn’t recommend the stables enough! Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: The Stables Fitness hosted our first ever WWETB Fittest Youthreach today. From the get go Anna and her team were very approachable and facilitating to our needs. The professional approach all the stables instructors gave our students was second to none. The obstacle course is ran over the most scenic Gorey countryside with obstacles catered to our exact needs. I can’t recommend here enough for any group event whether it’s for a team building, fitness training or simply a fun day out, The Stables covers all bases. Fantastic experience: I brought an underage GAA team to The Stables for a team-bonding day out and was blown away. The instructors were friendly, helpful and encouraging throughout the day. The kids had a brilliant day and I would highly recommend the Steeplechase obstacle course to all.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic set up. Myself, my husband and our three boys did the 5km obstacle course last week and had a ball. All the staff I dealt with from the first communication on the phone to our instructor Emer were so friendly and accommodating. The facilities are excellent with a course to challenge every fitness level. The changing rooms and showers were pristine clean. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I brought a group of teenagers to The Stables to do their steeplechase and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! From start to finish everyone engaged with the hurdles, jumping bales, climbing walls and pulling tyres. Darren gave detailed explanations before every obstacle and also provided modifications so that everyone could pace themselves individually. The highlight for our group was the monkey bars and the monkey swim, some taking a voluntary dip to cool down. The steeplechase would be a great activity for any club to undertake. Thanks everyone!

Fantastic experience: We recently went here for a 9 yr olds birthday and did part of the 5km course 18 of us youngest was 8 up to 42. Must say it is highly recommended. We had Eimear leading us around and she was brilliant really patient with the kids. Great fun for any kind of group party ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The children had so much fun and were really well looked after by Áine. Anna, Paddy and Nicola couldn't have been more helpful and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I have over 20 years organised groups / clubs / friends to participate in various activities all over Ireland but I must say this has to be one of the best . Booking in was so personal . Within 2 hours of messenging The Stables the owner(Anna &Nicola ) rang me to discuss the group I was bringing . Extremely friendly helpful lady and followed up with another phone call . It was a very easy process of booking in .. The location and premises top class so professional & clean and as my group came from all over Ireland travelling 4 hours some of them facilities to eat , shower etc were available . The activity itself was beyond our expectations it was just perfect especially with their coach Paddy who’s personality and wisdom made it so enjoyable for all the children… We will definitely be back .. Fantastic experience: We organised a trip to The Stables for a group of U14 girls. They thoroughly enjoyed the day. Its was a great afternoon very well organised in a safe and friendly environment. We are sure to return again for a great day out

Fantastic experience: I took my boys and their friends to The Stables for my sons Confirmation present. Áine took us around the course, we had the most amazing experience. It only took an hour and a half over 5km and there was no pressure on anyone to complete an obstacle that was outside their comfort zone or beyond their ability. I would highly recommend this for teenagers especially and for parents to bond with their children. We made memories at The Stables that are etched in our hearts.

Fantastic experience: We celebrated a joint 8th birthday party at the stables with a group of 25, the booking process and communication was effortless and the kids all really enjoyed the afternoon. We ordered take away pizza and there was a sheltered outdoor area with picnic benches to host the party after the obstacle course. It’s a beautiful setting on the farm and our instructor Aine was very attentive ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all, appropriate to their age!

Fantastic experience: The stables birthday party experience was fantastic. We had my daughters 9 year party and my sons 7 year party last week and i cannot recommend it highly enough. The kids absolutely loved every minute. Their coaches Emer and Darren where excellent and brilliant with all the kids. If you are looking for something different that involves climbing bales, rope bridges to monkey bars and swinging ropes over water definitely book!! We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Had a great evening completing the Steeplechase obstacle course in The stables with Gorey Rangers Youth team. All the lads thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the instructors Paddy and Aine were brilliant with the lads, the whole experience far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend The Stables to any sports clubs looking for something different as a team building exercise for their teams. Top Class.

Fantastic experience: Visited the stables last Saturday and did the family experience. Mixed group of ages from 12 years upwards. What a super experience from booking stage to finish. Darren our instructor was brilliant. Teaching, advising and guiding all the way. You can skip an obstacle or do twice as the teenagers loved. Fabulous place , well run and such good value. Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant day from start to finish. Darren was our instructor and he was fantastic, keeping the kids (and adults) engaged and kept us moving. We had 3 children aged 9, 8 & 6 and they loved every minute of it. Highly recommend as a family activity (steep chase). Well done and thanks guys

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities. Very friendly & professional owners and trainers who show a genuine interest in your fitness journey. I feel very safe attending the Stables as it's outdoor and if it rains there is also a covered area. It's totally equipped for all levels. Has numerous opportunities to exercise in place with lots of alternative disciplines too. Set in a lovely location, close to Gorey. It is a working farm which gives the gym an extra buzz but never interrupts class in any way. The entire area is immaculate including the farm. All the gear and equipment is in excellent condition. All Covid safety regulations are followed to the letter without taking away from your experience. I can't rate it any higher, it's 1000%. Enjoy!!!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing week my daughter had last week at the teen fitness camp. So much fun in such a beautiful outdoor setting and Learned so much from the excellent coaches at the stables has to experienced to really appreciate how good this place is for children or adults

Fantastic experience: The stables provided my teenage son with an excellent source of fun filled activities for the week. He was delighted heading off each day and made loads of new friends while maintaining and building a new level of fitness. The owners and workers are excellent and have them an experience that they all want to return and partake again. The facilities are excellent and I would highly recommend it as a place everyone should go see.

Fantastic experience: We brought a group of 12/13 year olds for a day out to mark the end of school and they had such a good time. Anna made sure we were well prepared in advance and the team on the day could not have been more helpful, welcoming and supportive. The Stables offers a fantastic day out in a beautiful setting and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic experience: A group of us including adults, teenagers and kids did the steeplechase at the weekend. It was a fantastic experience which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The course had challenges for all and was great craic. Anna was our host and she was great also. We couldn't reccomend it highly enough and will certainly be back.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Stables for many years and it really is a gym like no other, training outdoors and in the well designed and equipped outdoor gyms allows the excellent trainers to come up with very varied , challenging and original workouts .The atmosphere at the Stables is very relaxed and friendly but they are very professional and really can’t recommend the Stables enough .

Fantastic experience: I've been attending Anna, Ger and Emer's classes for a few years now and can absolutely recommend The Stables. With the amazing outdoor training facilities, farmland obstacle course and indoor equipment, its just brilliant. The Stables online classes over the last year have also kept me going during lockdown, but looking forward to training on the ground again very soon.

Fantastic experience: We visited last week and cannot recommend these guys enough. This is a must do. From my first interaction via email they were amazing, very professional and very encouraging and accommodating. We were not sure what to expect as a family of four with a twelve and eight year old opting for the obstacle course but the Stables and our guide Emer far exceeded our expectations. We were so lucky to get the whole course to ourselves and our own personal guide Emer who made sure we were all safe but challenged ourselves and captured the action so we have loads of memories. What a set-up they have here. This is something we will do again and again. If you like to have fun check this place out. We are still laughing..

Fantastic experience: Anna has been a dream to train with over the past 12 months, she has made these lockdown months much easier. She changes up the classes each day and supports both beginners and advanced attendees. Couldn't recommend her and The Stables enough.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly recommend The Stables in Gorey. It is such a wonderful place for fitness & wellbeing and certainly is a "gym like no other". The trainers are very professional, friendly & encouraging. Fantastic experience: I have taken part in group classes and personal training at the Stables. All the trainers are fantastic and can tailor classes to suit your needs. Everyone is made feel very welcome and comfortable whether you are new to fitness classes, trying to get back into it or a regular at exercise classes. Excellent training in a fantastic setting. My kids have also done classes and the obstacle course. They love it. I would highly recommend the Stables.

Fantastic experience: Having been a member of many gyms in the past, gyms I didn't particularly like and return to, I am really happy that I found The Stables. The Staff are professional, friendly and efficient. The location and facilities are great. I never thought I'd miss going to the gym, but in lockdown I really missed this place.
