Fantastic experience: Fitness 1st is a brilliant gym. Since my first visit i have never looked back. They keep up to date with a huge range of quality equipment for any workout you need to do. Also have expanded the upper floor and its great to see a local business growing and expanding. Theirs a great vibe in the place and ive never felt out of place at any point. Staff are class.

Fantastic experience: As a nomad, I've been to hundreds of gyms around the world. This is THE BEST gym when it comes to opening hours, equipment, price, and environment. As a hybrid athlete, I can EVERYTHING in the one gym, which is very rare. Weightlifting platforms, power racks, Ski ERGs, Rowers, Astro Turf, Kettlebells, ROGUE Plates, Bodybuilding Specific Machines... The list goes on and on. Not to mention the amazing staff. If you train here, you will become a part of a big family! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Fitness first is one of the best gyms I have ever been in. The staff are Amazing, they are very professional, very helpful and Fair . The gym itself is well equipped, very spacious and has every machine and more needed for your daily workout. Classes are brilliant and fun . To me Fitness first is like a second home. I'm comfortable doing my workout and love having the chats even the staff join in on the banter . Where else would you see that? I would recommend Fitness first to everyone.

Negative experience: Gym is nice but has some issues, they let very young people in gym under 16 years that's Not legal , very cold gym more going outdoor gym not indoor gym , the man call himself gym manager told me go leave the gym even i had membership for 12 months just because his wife works for gym and had an argument with her someone stole my friend's phone. and he stopped him by bring him to reception but I think she knows that boy and he is only 15 years old and has membership in gym by himself and nearly stole phone . The manager of gym said why I was being rude to his wife which I talked to her nicely and he didn't like i said i was talking to her Respectful and told me to leave the gym , I asked to talk to owner of gym he told me to leave and he won't let me talk to the owner, really disappointed with having people like that manager of gym , (he even was given out to my brother because he left a review online and told him if you don't like the place just leave here and many gym in gorey to go ) . I will try to get to the owner because gym losing many people of wrong people in wrong place.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Staff are super helpful and approachable. Plenty of new machines and equipment. Good selection of weights and cardio equipment.

Negative experience: Always cold and I complained last year and they said they’re working on it and now ywar later ,nothing and opening hours after St Stephen’s Day should be back to normal and I always see young people that are less than 14 years old, Could easily be better if there’s work on it .

Negative experience: Freezing cold in the gym, and full of teenagers under 16, one of them a kid I know that he is 13 years and they never check there ID or anything all they are looking for is money

Negative experience: Very cold gym like it is easy to buy heaters and bags area very bad, gym door always open can you just buy something it close after people enter gym and last thing would be very young people in gym they shouldn’t be all under 16 years old.

Fantastic experience: I'm in Courtown for a week and needed a gym that I could use just for the week. Fitness 1st was just what I was looking for. No problem at all to turn up, pay a very reasonable rate to go in and train. Staff and atmosphere extremely welcoming, everyone getting stuck in to their own work and good vibes all round. Top class equipment. Would highly recommend.

Positive experience: As I travel quite a bit and can't sign up to a monthly contract Fitness 1st were extremely flexible and we've worked out a structure that works for both. Very friendly and very accommodating. Lots of space too so plenty of social distancing even if it's a gym. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Grand gym, all that's need, weight training and cardio. €5 day pass. Can be busy in the afternoon. Edited response: Gym equipment and staff 5*, it's the waiting for the guys and gals on their phones whilst sitting on equipment. Generational thing, I'm just grumpy and middle aged.
