Fantastic experience: Satori is a great place to train. I started a while back and have really enjoyed it since. John and Pat are excellent coaches who really know their stuff. They explain things clearly and are always happy to help if something isn’t clicking. The atmosphere is chilled and welcoming. No egos, just people training and helping each other get better. Whether you’re brand new or have some experience, you’ll fit in quickly. Classes are well run with a good mix of technique, drilling, and rolling. It’s something I genuinely look forward to every week. If you’re thinking about trying BJJ or just want a good gym with good people, I’d definitely recommend it.

I have trained in MMA and Muay Thai here, and the experience has been outstanding. The coaches are highly professional, supportive, and always willing to help improve your skills. Fantastic experience: After training overseas for 2 years I was anxious about going to a new gym but everyone couldn’t have been more accomodating. We had a great session and will most certainly be back. The Knowledge and skill on and off the mats was amazing. Cheers lads we will drop in everytime we come up to Dublin.

Fantastic experience: While visiting from Australia on 4 different occasions, it has been an absolute must to get in and train with the Satori team. Their Jiujitsu is absolutely high level, yet their gym culture makes it a fun and welcoming training space for a hobbiest practitioner like myself. Their facilities are the best I have come across to date and the customer service is impecible. An absolute credit to the grass roots BJJ scene on the island of Ireland.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible experience, avoid at all cost. They are so unprofessional and their customer service is non existent. When it comes to taking money they will reply very quickly but when you need to address something they will avoid answering, replying, very ignorant service.

Fantastic experience: After pushing off starting BJJ for so long I threw myself in here, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Pat & John took me in the exact same way they have taken in everyone else that’s started before me and after me, with what feels like a big hug(metaphorically). You quickly realise it’s more than just a gym, it’s a big community and everyone is in it together. If anyone ever tip toes around the thoughts of trying out BJJ or MMA, pushing yourself to come here is the best decision you will ever make With the morning classes it makes it easy to train at least 2/3 times a day if you’re a shift worker like myself

Fantastic experience: Satori helped me to build up confidence, discipline and respect to other people. I have been in Satori for about 2 and a half years now and I feel that I fit right in. All of the staff members are very kind and helpful. I like Brazilian jiu jitsu because its not the size or strength of a person that matters, but it is the technique. If you truly master the technique you can beat anyone, and I think that Satori is the best place to learn.

The staff are really kind and very supportive. I give this 5 stars, I highly recommend it to everyone to try it. Not only does it give you self defense but a very good mental health. It also helps to forget about all your worries. This helped me have an even better life.

The gym has fantastic facilities and great quality coaches who break down complex movements into clear, easy to understand steps. The atmosphere in the gym is very welcoming and the Sheridan brothers have created a culture of everyone pulling in the same direction, trying to make each other better. Great gym.

Fantastic experience: My son has been training in Satori for nearly 2 years now and I’m training BJJ with the lads for approximately two months. Top class gym through and through, which starts firstly with people and their commitment to the community and the sport. If you want to judge any martial arts gym, not that you ever should, I believe you start with the kids program. Has to be the biggest kids program in the country fantastic curriculum that is very well thought out from ABC classes from very young (3 years old I think) all the way up to teens, the classes for the kids are very structured and the coaches are fantastic with them , commanding the right level of respect while mixing in the most important factor, FUN. Promoting/hosting fantastic competitions all the way from Grassroots up to National and International for kids and adults is really amazing, the coaches foster competitive spirit in the kids but never push them into competition, its always down the child and their feelings on comps or if they’d rather just train and go that way every child gets the same level of attention and commitment. A fun ,safe environment for the kids, which is the most important thing. From adults perspective again its fantastic, I’m only beginning my journey with BJJ, but there has been no negatives, its fantastic too that one of my coaches is also one of my sons coaches! Again the adults curriculum is very structured all the way up from beginner, teach you the basics (though nothing in BJJ is basic) so you progress up to intermediate classes with a good base so you can roll with people who have more experience. Great mix of GI and No GI, so something for everyone. There is also weight training programs tailored for you and on specific days through out the week. MMA, Muay Thai, Wresting, and Boxing all available with specialist teaching/coaches in each discipline, again both kids and adults coaching in each art. In terms of facilities, I don’t think you’re going to find bigger or better purpose built in Ireland, HUGE mat space, pretty much run 3 full adults classes on the main mats at the same time, another on the secondary mats also, there’s even a training MMA cage in the facility. Large selection of weights for strength training and heavy bags for practice. Overall amazing, run by the Sheridan bros who are flagstones of BJJ in Ireland, you’d be doing well to find a better gym. Highly recommended. Free trial classes, so you can go down and try it out for yourself and make your own mind up, you won’t be disappointed if you do.

Fantastic experience: I joined satori only a couple of months ago and it was one of the best decisions i have ever made great bunch of lads who are always welcoming to new members. Satori is fully equipped gym from punch bags to free weights accompanied with top class coaches ! Everything you'll need to further better yourself as a martial artist.

Be it adult of any level or a child of any age Satori has everything for them. I don’t know what kind of a troll would put 1 star for this 5 star facility. Just come and see for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't say enough good things about this gym. The amount of time and effort they put into their students is incredible. Easier becoming one of the best gyms in the country for adults and kids. Both coaches are high level brown belts in Jiu jitsu and the gym facilitie is very big. I joined this gym 3 years ago now and its completely changed my life in a positive way.

Negative experience: If unprofessionalism had a synonym it will be satori. Even one star and It's still be too much. Not only no one holds black belt in BJJ but the highest rank they have is a purple belt, also being disrespectful and discriminating towards students and let's not forget that everything is about money for them, if they can charge you the air you breath inside they'll do it. Go train elsewhere where you're being respected and being encouraged in excelling in martial arts and leave the wannabes in their fake universe.

Fantastic experience: Started here over 2 years ago. Club is really well run, feels like a second family with the atmosphere in the gym. Facilities are fantastic and there's always loads of classes on to fit into my busy schedule

Negative experience: They took 60€ from my credit card even if I cancelled my membership a month before. I texted them in order to solve the problem and they did not even answer. This is absurd and it never happened to me in any other gym. Good boxing trainer, but the staff of the gym is the worst, so unprofessional.

Negative experience: Repeated overcharging on debit card numerous call and texts without resolution or return calls as promised. I hope the know more about martial arts than customer service. Steer clear.

Top notch facility that really encompasses the BJJ 'brotherhood'. Fantastic experience: This gym is an absolute class act. As soon I walked upstairs, I was amazed at the amount of space and quality facilities this gym had to offer. I was given a very warm welcome into the gym by John and Patrick Sheridan who are two absolute gentlemen. They are two very talented martial artists and you can see this by the amount of gold medals on the wall. The bjj class they gave me was unforgettable and I was addicted straight away. I go to this gym very regularly ever since and I would highly reccommend this gym to anyone who wants learn bjj, wrestling or boxing. The classes are extremely enjoyable and every class I feel I am improvimg greatly. Great job guys.

Fantastic experience: What a place, more than just a club or an activity to keep active but a tight nit family. I started BJJ just to mix things up as I had gotten board of ticking away in the gym. I expected to learn self defence, improve my cardio and conditioning . For sure I got that but also so so much more. BJJ is a great martial art for all ages but even more so , what you will find at Satori is a welcoming atmosphere .You will be greated by the most down to earth coaches and top quality instruction. Not only are these guys great teachers but they also clearly know how to Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere that will have every day one newbie feeling like a part of the satori family within minutes of walking in the door

The facilities and equipment are excellent. The coaching staff go above and beyond to make you feel part of the team wether you compete or are just coming down to work on your fitness. I encourage anybody and everybody to come down and judge for themselves.
