Scoil Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art, developed by the Gracie family, which has become the most widespread and practiced form of Jiu-Jitsu in the world, especially after the first editions of The Ultimate Fight Combat (UFC). BJJ is focused on the skill to take an opponent to the ground, controlling, gaining a dominant position and using a number of techniques to force the opponent into submission by locks or chokes. The main benefits of Jiu-Jitsu are humility, discipline, respect, weight loss, self defence skills, stress relief, problem solving skills, better conditioning, mental health, better flexibility, range of motion and joining an amazing community.
