Darren started training in 2009 and is Professor Chris Bowes 1st Black Belt. ( Irelands most decorated Black Belt ). Darren has competed throughout the years medalling at all major National events. As a family man with 4 kids Darren is the opitome of hard work and dedication. Darren is still competing on the local circuit constantly challenging himself and always looking to gain valuable skills to help him and his students improve. 

Started training in 2009 and received his Black Belt in 2022 under Professor Chris Bowe. He started coaching in 2016 in Gracie Barra Dublin where he built and grew the kids and teens program. It is here where he gained valuable experience and a passion for coaching and in late 2022 restarted the kids and teens program in Attic Jiu-Jitsu only to see it grow and flourish. He has a vast amount of experience and has managed to have some great success in his Kids and Teens programs.
