Aikido Cork / Cork Energy Arts Centre: Opinions
Fantastic experience: This is an exceptionally friendly and welcoming class where the Aikido taught is more than just a martial art. Affordable classes throughout the week. I highly recommend it.
Fantastic experience: This Dojo might be better called the Chi/Ki Dojo as Chi Kung and Tai Chi are elemental to it's approach. Whether you are a beginner or advanced in AiKi Do you will take something away from there that is fudamental . Having, over the years dabbled with the martial arts I cannot recommend this highly enough. Try it. One of the best ways you can spend a couple of hours during the week
Fantastic experience: Aikido is a wonderful martial art for all ages, fitness levels and body types and it is a lot of fun. Detlef Sensei (5th Dan Aikikai) is a superb teacher and his dojo is very friendly and welcoming. There are five Aikido classes per week - come and try a class!
Fantastic experience: If you visit some day Cork, you should come and visit Aikido Club in Cork where I was honored to train with Detlef Decker and Joanna Kamińska-Wujek. These people together with other Aikido members will give you opportunity to experience one of the Most beautiful and effective Martial Art as Aikido and will give you a clear understanding of the fundamental principles of this art and what is true budo ( way of warrior) as such. You will be able to experience a Incredibly good atmosphere. Must visit! Thank you! Best regards Rufat
Fantastic experience: Spiritual Dojo with a very high level of training, every class is a challenging and rewarding exploration of the beautiful art of Aikido, very welcoming and highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: This aikido place is the perfect place to practice, learn, and share.Sensei Detlef helps everybody to improve his aïkido beginners or advanced persons.Whoever you are here you always learn.I go there at least once a year for 7years now, from France and enjoy every single class ever. Truly recommanded.
Fantastic experience: Very good place for training the body and mind, training is excellent and everyone is respectful with each other. Can highly recommend the place.
Fantastic experience: I found the dojo last year and i haven't looked back. There is a welcome here for everyone, from beginner to advanced. If you have an interest in Aikido then you should come along and see for yourself, highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Friendly atmosphere, non-competitive way of learning. Sensei Detlef understands people are coming from different backgrounds and everybody is learning at own pace. I am truly grateful I can train here and I can highly recommend the dojo.
