Fantastic experience: My first experience of Gym..Really enjoying it ..

Fantastic experience: Credits to dennehys and team for bringing a gym that has made so much change in my body performance the layout and service is absolutely top quality Credits to the girls behind the desk phenomenal service and friendly faces to help motivate you into getting your gym game on dennehys have so much to offer in regards to personal training to classes don't hesitate and get in there I've been going the last few months and the changes I've seen has boosted confidence health and strength dennehys will be highly recommended to whoever so don't hesitate get in there .

Positive experience: Decent range of classes and you get to use four branches with your membership

Fantastic experience: Classes are good and people nice. However, gyms in Douglas and also in Ballincollig (these are only ones I’ve been) are very little and they get crowded, so it’s very difficult to work out - very overpriced for what it offers, especially if you can’t get to other affiliates and you are stuck with one nearby - I’d recommend to provide more payment options depending on whether using one gym or several. Also, when you get injured or simply can’t exercise for some time and want to pause your membership for a month, you can only do it from payment to payment. I tried to pause my membership due to an injury but since my payment was from 7th and I contacted them 10th, I was offered the pause from January which is completely useless for me. I even didn’t go to the gym since a week before the payment date, so it’s not like I have used any service. Since it’s 70€ for something not being used, I find it very disappointing that exception cannot be made in such cases. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend and I will most likely cancel my membership and find a different gym.

Negative experience: "Clean and re-rack equipment after use". It's written on the wall. Simple as that. Pity that the majority of the trainers are the first one not leading by example. Equipments are OK, everything that is needed for a complete training program is there. Unfortunately No gym personnel is ever present on the weight room (only during one one session with a single customer). Membership cost is really reasonable. Recommend with the caveat above. Negative experience: I showed up to the gym this morning looking to get a day pass for the gym so I can make sure the equipment they have is suitable for my workouts before I commit to a long members fee. To my surprise, this gym is members only as it does not offer any sort of day passes or trial work out for prospective members. The lady at the desk told me that this is due to high traffic, however, the gym was pretty empty when I was there as it was an off peak time. Additionally, most gyms and direct competitors offer day passes. Notably, Flyefit, which is known for its high traffic, offers day passes at peak hours. I did have a quick look around and the gym equipment looks alright, however, I'll probably be taking my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Gym, very friendly and professional staff ,a great range of gym equipment ,weights and so on Spacious plenty of room, very clean , changing area and shower s are clean and spacious as well, I would recommend anyone to join plus you can use all four gyms Douglas, Ballincollig, Blackpool, Penrose Dock.

Fantastic experience: I have tried a few gyms in Cork but this is the one I have found most to my liking. The staff are very friendly and the gym floor is very well equipped. The only problem is that it gets really busy during peak hours on some days and you have to wait to use some machines. I just go around 21:00 and have no trouble at all.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, clean, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and fantastic value for money. Membership freezing and cancellation process are more flexible than others gym and more member friendly. They offer lowest fees. The location is very accessible and it has parking available too. I had great experience of it.

Fantastic experience: The douglas Dennehy’s gym is the best gym experience I have ever had. I only did a month there as I am heading away for travels. When I contacted the gym to explain I needed just a months membership they couldn’t be happier to help. All the staff are so genuinely friendly, and I’ve met a good few of them, as there are a lot staff working there:) You are always greeted with a smile, and any questions they are genuinely delighted to help!! There are multiple hairdryers, a hair straightener and a scales in the ladies changing room which is a lovely extra touch:) The equipment in the gym is also state of the art- Fantastic and plenty for all! Overall such a pleasant experience. I can’t wait to return some day :) Katie :)

Fantastic experience: They have this very good summer membership for teenagers 90€ for 3 months. 13- 18 years old. I started recently the place is amazing the staff are so kind and helpful. 100% recommended it .

With 3 very different gyms to choose from it offers huge flexibility and a variety of equipment. The staff are really friendly and are always willing to offer assistance if you need it.

I joined dennehys gym back in January and I can honestly say I never looked back as well as toning up, I find in much fitter and happier in myself!! The staff and trainers are fab, I joined a few gyms before but never felt as welcomed as what I have at dennehys it was honestly the best decision I made

Fantastic experience: The staff are motivated, friendly and enthusiastic, parking is plentiful (and free), the classes are wide-ranging and intense but great workouts. They offer a free assessment with every new membership as well as pay-as-you go visits while there’s the option of unlimited classes.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Fantastic, friendly and helpful staff. The PT's are also very motivational during classes to really push you to the end. Equipment is great, so is the location. I can see why it gets busy at times! But off-peak times are just as good as peak times. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about joining!

Fantastic experience: I've never enjoyed the gym so much until I joined Denney's. Their classes are so much fun and I can actually see the results. Disco Spin has become my new favourite hobby. very helpful, fun and friendly staff. The gym and equipment is spotless. Always great energy every time I go.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Equipment is very good, as well as the staff. Really polite and helpful when you ask them a question, they have no problem helping. The only criticism I'd say is how busy it is but as a gym in a big city, it'd be expected. Finaly, there is only one more criticism and that's the lack of aerobic step boards in the ballincollig gym. Only saw one there.
