Fantastic experience: They trained me up for a part in a film one time. Very nice kind person who runs it. And I got to train next to former Munster players.

Positive experience: Elite Fitness is a pricey gym at €49 per month x 12 = €588 — as of writing this review on the 15th July 2021. They were formerly just called the Cork Weightlifting Club, but have expanded their name to Elite Fitness. They also specialized in those recovering from injury and for the disabled. Their current 'Early Bird' offer is good at €250 for a year, but they are restricting it to 10 people (with a personal trainer) — so they're maybe waiting lists and significant added costs for the trainer – so check on top of the monthly fee? The also say : that restrictions change regularly — so one has to weigh up value for money with access issues. They have a range of membership options from their drop down menu, but there are payment restrictions it appears. E.G. Pay monthly exclusively with one type and annually with another such as the Early Bird option. I think gyms at present, notwithstanding this one, offer poor value for money overall and many are now buying their own home gym equipment. The gym industry has a big challenge ahead of it to get people back.

Positive experience: I go there for the pole dancing which is amazing! Fully equipped gym with loads of space. Offers all different classes so it suits everyone's needs. Five stars if the bathroom and shower facilities were a bit better.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend for those looking for a no-nonsense gym, somewhere you go to really work out and get results. Really friendly members and staff feels like a very varied and welcoming family.
