Fantastic experience: This gym has really changed things for me. Both owners are sport scientists. Having them advising me on all aspects of my training makes me comfortable in the knowledge that I am going about things in the best way possible. I genuinely learn at least one new thing every session I go to, thus I'm constantly improving my standards. This gym enabled me to return from an injury a month earlier than was expected, as per my doctor and physiotherapists advise. This speaks volumes of the work these guys do. In addition to the above, the owners have created a great atmosphere and environment up there. It is very similar to training with team sports eg soccer. This is quite unique in comparison to other gyms I have been to. I actually look forward to going to DTF, which says a lot as I've have never said that about any other gym. I would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoying my time at DT Fitness so far. The lads are extremely knowledgeable and motivating. I come away from every session having learned something new and the lads are pushing me physically in the best way possible. I'm DTF ;)

Fantastic experience: As a complete amateur the best gym I have ever joined!! Cater to every level with such specialised undivided attention! They are so welcoming yet put you to the test everyday! Highly recommended ☺️

Fantastic experience: So many positives!...... great easy going atmosphere while being encouraged to push yourself at the same time. It can be daunting as a female to come to gyms that are mostly made up of male members, but the guys here focus on everyone individually during the classes. All members are so friendly and everyone is at different levels of fitness/ training/ injury recovery/ etc... Colin and Adam take a keen interest in how you are progressing and help out with specifics e.g. my left arm and knee imbalances..... and lower back stiffness. They are flexible and they take into account other sports/ training you may be doing and work with you to improve where you want and need to. They have even started up a class to help people start or improve on running after interest was expressed! The guys are very knowledgeable and the articles and links they put up on the members page are great for dietary info and more. I initially joined thinking I'd give it a couple of months and leave after learning a few new exercises and correcting some techniques, but it has helped so much and I have learned a lot, I can't see myself giving it up!

Fantastic experience: Joining DT Fitness has probably been one of the best decisions I've ever taken in my life, and this is not an understatement, it has changed my life completely. I am 36 and for the past 35 years never touched a gym, I've been underweight, with very low levels of energy, had a massive lack of strength and stamina and I wasn't very happy with the fact that my 6 year old was getting bored of daddy getting tired playing in the park after 5 or 10 minutes... I joined DT a year ago and my life has turned around 180 degrees. Adam and Colin have constantly encouragement , great and knowledgeable advice and enormous amount of patience, all with a positive attitude; things that made me very comfortable in a utterly unknown environment to me. I've gained a lot of self confidence, I am stronger now than I was on my twenties and thanks to this two fantastic professionals I have developed a love for working out and better myself everyday in every session. The environment at DT Fitness is another one of the main reasons I love the place so much, a like minded group of people that truly welcomes you with open arms and a smile no matter the level of fitness you have, a fantastic group of people that encourage you every single day with a very positive attitude even in the hardest workouts, most of them I can proudly call my friends.. I can't recommend this place enough, whatever you are playing sports and you want to get stronger and faster or you are a very inactive person, like I was, and you want to change your life around, This is actually the right place for you.

Fantastic experience: This gym has it all. Before I started out, I was badly out of shape and the concept of a gym itself was alien to me. I often wondered how people did up all their programmed and stuck with it. After the first few weeks, it became clear that I had found the right place. The two instructors have an in-depth knowledge of the body and how it works - what is good for one may not be good for another etc. They tailor their programmes to suit individuals who may have injuries etc. No one is left behind. The six week cycle that they employ works very well - with test weeks occurring after each 6 weeks so you can compare results and see the improvements you have made (and you definitely do make them!). the attention to detail is what I like most, with each class incorporating a warm up of the muscles that will be actively used in that session. Cork gyms has become (from my viewpoint) a saturated market place but if you are looking for guidance and the best way to improve (like I was, coming from a base of nothing), I genuinely could not recommend this place enough. You will gain in strength (a given), but coupled with the fact that there is a HIIT (conditioning piece) incorporated within each session, this will also drastically improve your fitness levels. I was a slob before I started here and have no issue admitting as much - but thanks to the lads, I have regained confidence in myself. Finally, and this is of critical importance in my eyes, there are absolutely NO ego's in the gym. Before I joined, I had a vision in my head of meat heads staring people out of it for being inferior to themselves. This could not be further from the Truth - every person up there encourages each other - regardless of ability - and this is what pleased me most and continues to please). If you are thinking about a gym and are unsure, do yourself a favor and get in touch with either of the lads for a trial session even (free of charge). I can guarantee you will not regret it and you will become gripped instantly. Easily the best decision I've made with my lifestlye over the last 18 months was joining DTF and I thankfully feel all the better for it.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym around two months ago and I have to say that it's the best gym I've come across in terms of atmosphere, results and training style. I've done yearly stints in various gyms over the past few years and until now I have always found it hard to constantly motivate myself. At DT, it's done for you. Gone are the days of trying to put together your routine and worrying about trying to motivate yourself for leg day. These lads are the most knowledgeable I've come across. If it's sports specific training or indeed just increasing your strength and getting in shape, look no further. I've completed a basic course in gym instructor and PT myself but I've learned more in two months here than a year on the course. Time is given to demonstrate every movement on every occasion ensuring you never jeopardise your form and posture for achieving a heavy lift too early. The emphasis is given to start where you are right now encompassing perfect form and then to improve over 6 weeks where the considerable gains can be seen. I couldn't recommend the place more!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym with great atmosphere! I really love the class based approach. The class structure frequently changes so you never get bored of repeating the same stuff again and again. Adam and Colin are great instructors, each week they are tweaking your stance and position to make sure you're doing everything correctly and getting the most benefit from the exercises. It's the fittest and strongest I've ever been and wouldn't have done it without this place. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Great Gym and better Instructors! Gave this place a go last month to try something different to the typical leisure center gym where i was getting no results. The instructor set me up with nutritional advice and bespoke workouts tailored to my goals. One month has passed and I am delighted with the results, feel much healthier and my lower back pain has virtually disappeared. I definitely wont be going back to anymore Globo gyms!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoy going to DTF. Adam and Colin (the instructors) are very knowledgeable and place emphasis on knowing the basics before trying anything complex. It's obvious that the lads have a background in Sports Science as they really stress doing exercises the right way and with correct form instead of lifting heavy but with wrong form. The approach of the gym is great. I really like the fact that they do an individual assessment of your strengths and weaknesses when you join; they were able to tell me which areas I need to strengthen on and extra exercises that I can do myself in my spare time. I'd recommend this gym to anyone from a beginner to a regular gym-goer.

Fantastic experience: Great gym The guys there really know their stuff. It is different to other gyms I have been a member of as you get more of a Personnel Trainer experience than just going to a normal gym. I got great advice on nutrition and was shown stretching techniques that have enabled me to recover faster from an injury while also allowing me to focus on fitness and strength all at the same time. Highly recommend the place
