Angels Boxing Club

Negative experience: I generally enjoyed training here and the quality of the programme was very good. However, now that I am in a different boxing club I get why I did not feel fully comfortable here. As a foreigner and a woman I just felt left out. I wish the best to the club but I hope it is improving in terms of inclusivity.

Negative experience: Saddest boxing experience I ever came across, head coach Reg is a clear cut case of a sub par coach who envies talent/youth. Avoid this ego centric trap if you want to evolve your skill and actually compete on the level you deserve.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my time. Reg is a fantastic coach that really helps everyone with motivation the other coaches are amazing as well. The weekly boxing is really good as coaches will help you out and keep you motivated the group is very welcoming and it's open to any ability wether your just looking for fitness or want to take your boxing professionally. Ignore the one star reviews as I can assure you that this is one of the most professional and welcoming environments iv seen and I would highly recommend joining and seeing for yourself. They also have a superb weekly powerlifting training program really helps you even if you have never powerlifting before the coaches will help you out. This is by far the best fitness program iv ever used and i would highly recommend signing up it's very professional while also being open to everyone.

Negative experience: My son loves boxing, he does it since he was 10 years old. He really loved it before he found that club. The reason for this, is the coach. In my opinion, the coach is competent in his job, but not in the moral aspect. He does not have the same attitude to people with different nationalities. My son has lost interest in this kind of sport in his words because of him. Not recommended for foreigners.

Negative experience: The boxing for everyone class was very disappointing. The class consisted of stretches, ab exercises and push ups for 40 minutes and only 20 minutes bagwork. The very reason I came to this class was for the bagwork! To make matters worse, I was not shown any boxing technique and I had to keep asking my partner what the combinations were as the coach was shouting them out at 100 miles per hour. Furthermore, the atmosphere was awkward and uncomfortable with the feeling like people are watching you which was further compounded by the fact that I had no boxing technique. The price on the website says €8 but when I got there he said €10 so they might want to update their website to reflect this as it is quite misleading. To summarise, if you are serious about learning boxing and doing bagwork then this is not the right club for you.
