Fantastic experience: I joined a year ago and wow it's the best equipt gym I've ever been in, large variety of free weights and machines, unreal! I've been a member before and after the massive renovations happened and it's worth every penny! And the staff are very friendly and welcoming, makes a big difference when you walk in and you are greeted with a smile and a chat, family friendly atmosphere

Fantastic experience: As a health and fitness professional who has 100,000 sessions of one to one Personal Training and has trained in gyms worldwide, i visited this gym on friday. I was truly impressed by the range and variety of equipment spread over a very large area . From the staff at the reception, the person cleaning , the members training and the gym owner himself everyone had a welcoming smile contributing to a great experience. The Upper and lower body machines were excellent ! I was spoilt for choice. There was a large and varied collection of cardio equipment to suit all choices. The Gym floor was immaculately clean! The changing rooms , toilets etc were absolutely spotless ! i have travelled the world and lectured Qualified Personal Trainers in University. I can honestly say this was one of the best gyms worldwide i have visited and i will from now on join happily. Well done Platinum Physique for providing us with an amazing gym !

Fantastic experience: Bright, Spacious, Welcoming and well equipped. Have just added a big extention and kitted it out with Hammer Strength, Life Fitness, Real Leader and Panatta weight machines. Plenty of cardio equipment. It alot bigger and brighter than previously. New plates too. I find Platinum is not intimidating at all and caters for those just starting their fitness Journey and those with plenty of experience and love for training. It can be busy during peak times but that's normal and expected but with the new extension it makes it seem less busy as there is huge space now. In my experience staff are lovely and welcoming. There is sports nutrition for sale in reception and in the fridges. Plenty of parking space. There is a barber on site too. The Ashbourne community has a gem on their doorstep.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for a year, and while it has some positive aspects, there are a few drawbacks that I can’t overlook anymore. The gym equipment is ok, and the overall vibe is friendly, with most members being polite and encouraging. However, there are several issues with the facilities. The toilets are quite small, and in the mornings, the water is always cold. The showers are another problem — the cabins are completely open, which makes them uncomfortable to use. Not to mention, the water is cold, and the cleanliness of the area could definitely be improved. As for the staff, most are pleasant, but I had an unpleasant experience with one person who was rather rude when I asked a simple question. Instead of a helpful and polite response, I was met with a dismissive attitude. That interaction left a bad impression and made me question whether I want to continue my membership.

Fantastic experience: I have to say, I've been in gyms most my life, but this one is by far the best I've been in. Great equipment, great opening hours, well maintained, friendly staff, everything you need from a gym. Great for all types of training, from body building to beginners, you won't go wrong with platinum. Highly recommend, also, they have bought the building next door so it will be double the size in the next month, can't wait.

Fantastic experience: I went to platinum gym on the advice of a friend. All I can say from a man lifting weights for 10 years and been to many gyms this was by far the friendliest. Most equipped. And professional gym I have ever been to. I purchased a membership and will be going there from now on. Take some advice. Try it. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Negative experience: The staff at this gym is incredibly lazy and unprofessional. The place is never ready for members by 6:00 AM, which is unacceptable. It's frustrating to see one person granted exclusive access while the rest of us are left waiting for the late staff to show up. This kind of favoritism and lack of organization is ridiculous. Save your time and money—this gym is not worth it.

Fantastic experience: One of the amazing Gyms in Ashbourne. You can find pretty much every equipment there. Only thing, I didn't like there is their inadequate showering facility.

Negative experience: Rude,unhelpful staff lead by the owner Rob who objected vehemently to the door being left open to aerate the space mid pandemic, citing the cost of heating the building to be more important. The changing facilities are basic and grotty. The equipment is dated, in particular the racks, with a dangerous lack of clearance between the ceiling and rack. I could not recommend this gym with many better alternatives in the general locality.

Positive experience: Great place to work out...staff are v friendly equipment is easy to use and modern plus there are classes and boxercise sessions if you want. Only areas of improvement are the fact that sometimes it can be difficult to find the weights you want and the shower area is very basic in the changing rooms but otherwise great little gym.

Positive experience: not a bad little gym! no managment on the floor whatsoever! weights are all over the place! no structure to the training area! too many benches in the free weight area gets very crowded! great gym to start off training in but not for the seasoned guys! 40 for a ten day pass is a bit over priced as the gym doesnt justify these prices! a good thing i have to admit is it never packed like most gyms! its empty during the day so you can get a good workout! but lads please sort out your free weights and label them as the edges are missing off most of them and you cant tell what weight they are!
