Positive experience: Very calm and peaceful atmosphere. Feels really warm and nourishing to the mind. The coaches in my two classes that I attended were great with giving multiple options for every pose based on your skill level

Fantastic experience: I love practising yoga with Himalaya Yoga. I do miss the classes in Cork city centre but find the online videos and classes really beneficial, especially as I can choose what sort of practice to do, depending on how I feel that day and how much time I have. All the teachers give commitment and care to their teaching and, so it feels like a personal experience despite the physical distance. It has really helped me to cope during this pandemic .

Fantastic experience: My heart is so full after just having completed my 200 hrs yoga teacher training with Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre. I completed the course with a blended approach, completing the first module online followed by the second module in person in a classroom/studio environment with the team here in Cork. In module A, the first two weeks were live classes, including chanting, pranayama, meditation and asana along with live lectures covering philosophy, anatomy and ayurveda. I was blown away at how seamless these two weeks were run, everything about it was so professional and engaging and I really felt like I got to know the team over these two weeks. The teachers are bursting with knowledge that they are so eager to share with their students and I instantly could acknowledge their passion and desire to do so. After the two weeks I could work to my own schedule to complete my assessments, I was really grateful for the flexibility whilst working full time alongside this. For module B, I attended 9 days with the team in Cork, whom I already felt I knew so well. During module B my confidence grew little by little without me even realising and by the time I was sitting my asana practical I was really starting to feel like a true yoga teacher. Experiencing this alongside my peers, whom are now great friends to me, was a whole other element to the training which really made it for me. If you are tossing up where to do your training and have found yourself here looking into Himalaya Yoga Valley then I cannot recommend this school enough. They are authentic, traditional and thorough in what they teach and the team are incredible. Thank you so much Himalaya Yoga Valley, I can't wait to visit you soon in Goa :)

The course content is comprehensive and presented to you by extremely knowledgeable teachers. Amazing experience as always. Cannot recommend it enough! I did my teacher training with Himalaya in Goa, India last year and it truly changed my life. The whole team becomes like family and they take care of everyone, teaching the wholeness of yoga with such integrity and dedication. It's honestly the best thing I have ever done! Fantastic experience: I have done yoga in Cork for many years but Himayala yoga studio is the place that really started my journey in yoga. The staff have been very supportive and approachable and the classes cater to all levels. They have also really fostered a sense of community within the studio. For me as a devotee of the ashtanga method of yoga, there is no other studio in Cork that provides the level of instruction and support for those who adhere to the primary series and the mysore method.

Fantastic experience: Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre Cork is the friendliest, most welcoming yoga studio I have been to. The teachers are second to none, I can't rate them highly enough, they are fantastic! I started yoga by attending their free 'Let's Get Started' class with Mary a few years ago and have been attending regularly ever since. I have tried the various different level classes at their beautiful studio and I love them all. I really enjoy every single class whether it is a challenging Ashtanga Primary Series class with Lalit or a relaxing 'Yoga in the Park' at Fitzgerald's park during the Summer. I feel great every time I practice with HYVC. I attended their Yoga Retreat in Goa which was paradise and I highly recommend it to anyone. I also find them incredibly good value for money, with great discounts for students (and others) as well as really good special offers to be had online. We are so lucky to have them here in Cork!

The Himalaya Valley staff provide expert guidance, allowing everyone to maximize their valuable time, which adds to the enjoyment of each visit.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my 500hr TT with Himalaya Yoga Valley this summer after a two year journey following Lalit and team both in India and Ireland. It was an amazing learning experience and I look forward to more workshops with them. One of the best schools around, an international reference point for both teachers and practitioners.

Fantastic experience: Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre has become my second home. Amazing teachers and staff there and love all of the classes offered. Whether you want relaxing meditation, lovely and powerful restorative yoga class (blankets, lying down, props, what could be more blissful) or more active practice such as Ashtanga, Himalaya has it all and the classes are so complementary. I've attended so many great workshops there that cover many different areas for managing stress and inducing relaxation. There's always something new whether it's a focus class, a guest teacher, a workshop and the list goes on... So grateful to the time and help always given by any of the staff anytime and you can't help but absorb the good vibes & energy! Cork is very lucky to get traditonal authentic yoga straight from the source in India. Would highly recommend anyone to try it out and yoga will just do its job! Thanks HYVC

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love everything about Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre. The staff are friendly and caring both in the office and all of the teachers. I go in feeling tried and stressed and I come out feeling refreshed and alive. I look forward to my yoga class because I know I am in good hands and that I am treated with genuine care. They are like my extended family. Best yoga studio in Cork delivering a traditional experience.

Fantastic experience: I just received an email to say it was my 2nd birthday at Himalaya Yoga Valley so I felt it was high time to write a review! I love everything about Himalaya Yoga Valley. The teachers are professional, friendly and very experienced. The studio is in the city centre so really handy for parking etc. The studio itself is spotless, beautifully decorated and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I have been attending classes now for 2 years and every experience has been a pleasure. I have travelled on their Retreats to Goa both this year and last year, as well as a retreat to Spain; all the trips have been wonderful! A great studio with a wonderful team! Thank you Himalaya Yoga Valley and I look forward to the next 2 years and wish you continued success!

Negative experience: I'm very disappointed with my experience with Himalaya Yoga Valley, although their manner is pleasant I'm deeply put off by their conduct and overall customer service. Their conduct seems derivative rather than in-fact 'ethical'. Avoid 200hr Yoga Certification - Not worth your time!!
