Yoga Shala Galway

Safe, strong and effective yoga.

We offer a warm and welcoming teaching environment where everyone is encouraged to enjoy and explore the practice of yoga at their own pace. Our classes welcome all ages and abilities from absolute beginners to professional sportspeople.

In 2011, as Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Trainers we trained 24 yoga teachers over a period of 18 months and have been fortunate to have five yoga studios and over 15 yoga teachers offer great yoga classes under the Yoga Shala umbrella. In 2021 after the covid-19 pandemic we felt the need to consolidate our efforts in one place and established SoulMoves in collaboration with Sarah Thornton. Alongside Laragh, classes are led by Laragh’s husband Dave.

Mixed Level: Additional Intermediate to advanced postures are offered in this class with options from easy to challenging this class develops better movement, strength, concentration and meditation. (60mins)

Men's Yoga: For men with stiff backs, hips, hamstrings and who want to improve their movement. This is not a 'macho flogging session' by the teacher but a sensible tried and tested approach to improving movement and overall health. (60 mins)
