Negative experience: Constant urine smell, freezing water and bad vibes from the lifeguards. avoid it at all costs

Positive experience: Clean pool, lovely staff, really nice patient children's swimming teachers. But now unfortunately the price has gone up to €105 for eight, 40 minute lessons, and the number of children in each group has also gone up. 11 children in a goldfish level class today. Way too many.

Negative experience: DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE FOR LESSONS. I have been coming here since 2018 and the place has become progressively worse. The good teachers disappear and you are left with the rejects. Squashing too many students into the one area. They are after one thing and one thing only. Your money. It is never clean and the cubical situation is ridiculous. And the staff do not help. Spend your money elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Staff are great! Friendly and helpful, and make the entire place feel very welcoming. There's a real community spirit here. I use it for personal swims, aqua aerobics - the most fun fitness class mainly due to the other attendees and great instructors I am doing the L3 swim lessons to improve technique and endurance, and have seen a huge improvement in just 7 weeks. It's not the fanciest place, but it's clean and it's so welcoming - I'd take that over fancy any day.

Negative experience: Terrible facility for babies. Changing rooms super small, doesn’t fit the buggy and doesn’t have the baby changing support. Is really hard to change yourself and the baby. If you miss a class for whatever reason they don’t fit you in other class even knowing that the classes are empty (Classic Irish customer service standard). Teachers are OK.

Negative experience: Swimming lessons - There is only one Teacher who was supper funny, playing with kids and make their lessons the best experience. Everyone will know who he is as all parents were praying to get him. I spoke with others and noone was satisfied as kids were running away and crying all the time. Teachers were so not interested, no smile, like a robots but dying ones as there was no energy.. very boring lessons, I would run away from there. I took my child from there and now when hes going to another pool hes different child, he cant wait for his swimming lessons.

Negative experience: Very bad swimming pool. Wouldn't even borrow a float that was not even getting used for my young kid. Terrible.

Negative experience: Came here today the smell when you walk in the door is disgusting, then the changing rooms are so dirty the tiles are falling of the walls and not fixed meaning spiders were crawling around the showers into the holes of the walls, it would mame you think it doesnt get cleaned every day!! the swimming pool was quite cold especially the baby pool and the doors were open right beside the baby pool, in the bigger pool there is a lot of dirt you can feel and see and also mould on the swimming pool walls, the staff at reception was the only good thing he was very polite the other staff quite rude and intimidating.

Positive experience: Kids swim teachers are really lovely, although I’m not certain there is a lot of progression through the swim term, each class much the same as the last so no real progress being made but they are great fun and good for water confidence. Only issue would be the changing rooms, they are old which is fine but the tiles that have fallen off the walls remain on the floor, one in one of the bathrooms has been on the floor for the past two weeks now, making me wonder how often it is cleaned in there.

Negative experience: The pool is nice (can be on the chilly side) and parking is good. Major issues. Classes for toddlers at 8.30am on a Saturday, they don’t open the doors to the building until 8.30am!! Really poorly organised as standing outside with a baby plus the time it takes to get changed/load lockers, etc. Open 15 mins before first class please! Too many classes on at once and then no space to get dried and dressed. Toddler swimming coaches are ‘hit and miss’. Some are very good and some are poor. Good facilities but lot’s can be improved on. They also don’t call people back when you leave messages (or maybe that’s just a random, isolated thing that happens to us) If you are just booking for a swim for yourself then go for it, you’ll be fine and enjoy it. Perfect for that.

Positive experience: Good swimming pool to come with a baby - clean, not too busy and I really like the changing rooms equipped with changing tables and high chairs, making it easy to get ready with a baby without assistance. 1star taken away for no coffee shop onsite and the water temperature - it possibly must adher to some safety regulations, but after 15-20min the babies stop having fun and cry from being too cold. I also had bad experience with swimming classes - overcrowded and poor instructions. Swimming pool facility is good though and I will defenitely come again with my baby outside the class.

Positive experience: I booked Aura De Paul as I couldn't get a space in my usual pool and didn't want to miss out on my daily swim. The building is nice and bright with a family feel to it. The staff are very welcoming. Unfortunately, the water is just not deep enough which is a massive drawback. The lanes are also quite narrow, you couldn't have more than two people at any given time. The changing rooms are huge but there aren't enough of them. There were a few disgruntled people who had no place to change. All in all, it's a very relaxing place, with music in the background. I would recommend it and I would probably go back.

Positive experience: Nice place. Pool only 20 metres. 2 Lanes in pool for swimmers but very narrow. You wouldn't want more than 4 in lane. I enjoyed my swim there and will return again.

Positive experience: My son loves his swimming lessons teachers and very professional and friendly the only problem I have with there service is on the admin side of things twice my sons lessons have bein changed they told us they contacted everybody but even other parents in the class agreed that they never tried to make contact if the office side of things improved if be happy to give 5 stars

Fantastic experience: I have tried many different pools in Dublin for swimming lessons for my child. This pool is the best. Instructor is In the water correcting and improving each child as they swim. They also teach your child how to float first so that they have confidence.

Negative experience: I would NOT recommend this pool. My child was attending for 3 years with little progress. When I went to speak to the manager he 'suggested' I pay for private lessons. There are also issues with the changing rooms.

Positive experience: This Aura pool on Navan road was a good visit. The staff on reception and today's lifeguard and the swim teacher were all very pleasant friendly and helpful. The pool and surrounds are lovely and clean. Nice pleasant clean environment. Dressing rooms and showers clean and smart. Jacuzzi is lovely. There isn't a steam room. Only downside is today water pressure in showers was very poor so as we all have thick long hair we had to wash hair at home which is a bit of a pain. This is our first visit so maybe it isn't always so poor.
