Circus Factory

Fantastic experience: I remember the first day of a Spymonkey clowning intensive at Circus Factory, I walked away thinking, 'I wish there was a Circus Factory in my city!'. It was raining but I felt so warm - Cormac and friends brought together a group of mesmerizing ppl. Every day we'd come in early to drink coffee, and smoke, and pick costumes, and chat, and warm up, and try our hands at juggling, and walking the tightrope. There was space to stretch, to jump, to change and grow. I'm so grateful!

Fantastic experience: I went to the 8pm show last Saturday of the Faoin Speir circus show at Wandesford Quay and despite the cold, the performers kept us greatly entertained with their skill and athleticism. Well worth seeing and I hope to see more shows from the Circus Factory. And congrats to the host and rigger on their engagement which was sprung on her by surprise in the middle of the show.

Fantastic experience: What an AMAZING night I had on Sat 16th April 2022 - World Circus Day. Cork Circus Factory were out in force and drew appreciative ooooo's and aaaaa's from the audience. We were laughing with delight and gasping in amazement. It was an open air performance on Wandesfird Quay and as the shadows lengthened towards night, the atmosphere was sharpened by the resulting shadows on the wall. It had been a hard 2.5 years without Cork Circus Factory and the Cork Arts Community were out in force to support our brethren. I bumped into Kate Corkery author of Cork Folk Tales, Carol from Speakout Theatre and Aiden O'Brien of Bold Ensemble Improv. The joyful magical atmosphere created by Cork Circus was too hard to leave and we sipped drinks in happy Community until after 1:00 am on Easter Sunday. BRAVO Cork Circus Factory - I can't WAIT for our next outing - Maria Gillen, Cork Storyteller and Storyteller in Residence for Kerry Writers Museum ❤️‍♀️

Fantastic experience: I went to the 4 o'clock show for children and it was fantastic. All 3 generations in my group enjoyed the show and the chance to try out the circus equipment afterwards. The venue felt very safe as it was enclosed and not too busy. We had a lovely time:)

Positive experience: Hier werden Kurse zu Acroyoga, Trapez, Ring und Seidentuch angeboten. Außerdem gibt es einige offene Trainingsstunden. Es versammeln sich Leute aus allen Teilen der Welt und die Atmosphäre ist offen und freundlich. Das offene Training ist eher für Fortgeschrittene, aber das angeleitete Training ist auch für Anfänger gut geeignet. Sie haben da unglaublich viele verschiedene Materialien, sodass man einiges ausprobieren kann

Fantastic experience: What's not to love about a space where you can learn acro, ariel and any other circus feat out there.. Great instructors, fun vibe.

Positive experience: This venue doesn't really fall into any particular category. It's quite unique and that is what makes it sort of special. I visited on a children's party and it was a great experience. Nothing like the rather run-of-the-mill trampoline venues I have attended on other birthday parties. I'd reccomend if you are looking for something entertaining and interesting for a kid's birthday party. The venue also offers classes for adults. Although I haven't attended, I have heard it's great fun and a sociable experience. Activities such as juggling and trapeze artistry are taught to beginners.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant spaces full of the warmest and zaniest characters around. Very open and sharing atmosphere between the practitioners. Space is large enough to have many people practising at once. Have always had great and memorable times there!
