FUSE Gym Artane

Fantastic experience: Found Fuse gym Artane to be brilliant. The staff are first class. Friendly, encouraging and fun. The classes are a gas. Never figured for me to be joining a class in a gym, but Im loving it. Walead, Mark, Katelyn and Meghan who run the spin, core and circuit clases that I'v taken part in are great motivators and encourages, and I need that. But, they make it a pleasure, a painful pleasure (haa).. A really great group of people in a nice local gym, and everyone else who uses the gym are actually neighbours I hadn't met... Great crack..Oh, and a huge improvement in my own fitness, sleeping, attitude, energy, breathing, heart rate, diet, wellbeing and flexibility.. Cheers folks..Paul..

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Fuse gym for a few years now and I absolutely love it. The PT's are really friendly and you can have the banter with them. It's so relaxing to be in and the staff really know there stuff. The classes are brilliant and they really push you to do your best. The members are lovely and you can really enjoy their company. Everybody in the gym staff and members will try and help you in every way to make sure your exercise is correct and everybody there is there to help you in every way possible.

Fantastic experience: Starting with the staff. They are always welcoming, friendly and super attentive. The process to sign in, is easy and works really well. The gym has great equipments, in great condition. Classes are absolutely amazing, you can actually feel a proper work out. There are so many classes in many different times. Fantastic experience: Amazing gym!! I've been struggling with my weight since covid - I'm very self conscious, and the thought of going to a gym terrified me - but I've felt so comfortable and so happy going to Fuse. Memberships and personal training are very reasonably priced too! The atmosphere in Fuse is absolutely lovely - every member of staff is so welcoming, friendly and really encouraging. There's a lovely sign in the women's changing rooms where a few girls have put period products in a locker for people to use if they need, which just says it all about the supportive environment you're heading into. I've been doing personal training with Mark - and he's been fantastic. My fitness level is absolute baseline beginner, and he's struck a great balance of pushing me to work hard while not feeling like too much for me, and it's always a bit of craic - never feels like a chore! Absolutely 10/10 all round, can't recommend this gym enough!!

Negative experience: Insulted by a member of staff during a training session when I wanted to bring attention to a faulty machine, they told me I was "slow", I got up and left to which they celebrated when I was leaving. I don't go where I'm not wanted so I have cancelled my membership and will not be returning. Very rude and not what I expect from staff when being new to the gym.

Fantastic experience: My initial approach was due to the fact that my wife and I bought a house in Artane which is located only 300 metres to the gym. However, I feel lucky for having found such a really nice gym, with a friendly and kind staff. I've given 5 stars but I would give 4.8 because I miss some machines. For example, there's no seated calf raise machine, so I usually improvise by doing single leg standing calf raise among other machines. I could also mention that only 2 squat racks have mirror and I particularly find such a essential item especially for beginners once a bad form can cause several injuries. In a nutshell, I'm happy and I recommend Fuse Gym Artane, my truly authentic local gym.

Fantastic experience: Great little gym, local and great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the off peak prices are very reasonable. It's small but has the racks benches and a good selection of dumbbells along with all the cardio and machines you'd expect.

Fantastic experience: A great gym with a good variety of classes throughout the day. I particularly enjoy the early morning classes and I'm glad to see them back on the timetable. The coaches are all friendly, experienced and very welcoming. The head coach Mark is really approachable and does his best to create a gym that reflects what the members want. It's also great to see two female coaches in the gym, Katelyn and Leanne, who both provide excellent classes.

Positive experience: I've been amember of this gym for over 4 years now, and I have to admit this is the best choice I've ever made. Love the structure of classes, and variety that every coach brings into them. Even tho the gym itself is rather small but if has all basic equipment if you prefer to train yourself. The team here is always amazing, young, energetic, inspiring, motivating and pushing for the best. The downside is that the staff changes quite often, which is quite disappointing, because it impacts your progress. It takes time for both, coach and you, to learn about each other before you can continue working towards your goals. So I kind of find myself caught in a circle, you start pushing yourself, relying on coach guidance, and... your couch is gone. A new trainer comes in, and you have to start all over again. Now another downside which appeared to be quite recent is that they started removing daily classes. Nevermind they kept changing class times and every few weeks you had to make adjustments to make sure you can attend the class, but unfortunately this is not always possible due to work and other commitments. Until they finally decided to get rid of some of them completely! I do take my exercise seriously and aiming to be in the gym as often as possible - if not every day. I even made arrangements at work so I could start/ finish earlier on certain days - all to make sure I don't miss a class! Also, to those who are thinking - we'll, go and get a pt , my answer is: I learned that working in a group works the best for me, also i cannot afford a luxury of having a personal trainer. Hope the management will review their decision and will bring classes back. Since weekend classes came back, there was no a single time that class wouldn't go ahead because of no show; take last weekend, for example, and in every circuit class there were 6 ppl at least. Now, on the positive note, I wanna give credit to the staff. Today I was blown away (again!!!) by Adam Headen class. I have to admit that his classes are the best, the circuit is always challenging and interesting, and you really have to push yourself. Adam is always there, keeping an eye on you, correcting your posture, all to make sure you do the exercise correctly, or encourages you to try heavier weight. He always goes above and beyond to make sure you get the most of your workout, nevermind the 30 minute class limit - it runs way over almost every time! Without saying, his classes are the most enjoyable and challenging , and I always look forward to the next one. Im extremely disappointed over loss of Liam, who is another highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic couch and trainer, and I can only wish him the best of luck in his future career. Katelyn's classes are also very professional and interesting, all mixed with her amazing personality who with no hesitation will push you to your limits. Coming home wrecked after Katelyn classes became a normality at this stage! Overall, amazing team, great atmosphere. Hope I will get to stay a member for another few years ther - all depending on the changes... Thank you all for your hard work you do for us, this is the most appreciated by all your members.

Negative experience: Gym has basic equipment,if you are an experienced lifter I suggest you visit first as a lot of equipment is missing. No stair masters calf machine no hamstring machine, I suppose it reflect the cheap price. During the winter the place is like an iceblock as its a warehouse and the roof leaks everywhere when it rains. so there always buckets to collect the water and wet patches. Classes are ok but sometimes come across as being improvised at time, the staff are really lovely and kind but unfortunately there is no very experienced coach a part from manager. Staff are all very young and recently into fitness so it's hard to commit to someone to do personal training with, especially if you are at an intermediate or advanced level. Lots of staff changes tge best seem to go. One very good coach called Liam very experienced, inspiring and committed left which is disappointing as he was probably the most knowledgeable.. One good thing though is the environment all nice local people. I suggest shop around please of gyms around much better than this

Fantastic experience: Fuse Artane is a very welcoming gym, the facilities are great and there is a range of classes. Katelyn is a fantastic PT, her classes and PT lessons are focused on the correct form and hard work. She always demonstrates exercises and corrects people throughout the classes, encouraging people to keep going.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Fuse for about 9 months and it's made a big difference. I do a lot of classes, as they help me to stay disciplined, and the trainers are great. They're friendly and motivating, they push you when you need it, and they celebrate your hard work. Katelyn makes sure you reach your potential and don't slack off. Adam, Liam and Raquel are also great to work with and each brings their own style. Everyone makes the experience very welcoming for beginners.

Fantastic experience: Great local gym with a welcoming atmosphere where the "no ego" motto is really put into practice. The gym itself is clean and well equipped. But the staff are without doubts the best part. I've been doing classes quite regularly and can definitely say that whether it's with Mark, Katelyn, Liam, Raquel or Adam you can't go wrong. They are all approachable, super friendly, motivating and knowledgeable. Not only their classes are intense and can help you improve your technique and stay fit, they're also great fun. I would definitely recommend Fuse Artane to both absolute beginners (as I was when I started) and to more experienced gym goers.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Fuse for a few years now and specifically go to Artane. I’ve recently begun to work with a PT: Katelyn Jones (insta:@k.joness18) and she is the best ! She made me feel super comfortable since the beginning and really helped me with the fear of not being good enough/strong enough and just embrace the journey of self-care and self-love at my own rhythm. She is always in a positive mood and gives you the little push you need to reach your goals, even if at first you don’t believe you have it in you. I also take her glutes class on Wednesday evening and cannot recommend it enough ❤️

Fantastic experience: Love this place! I never thought I would say that about a gym but this place is different from the rest. All of the staff are the friendliest,knowledgeable people you could ever meet, they go above and beyond for there members, honestly they are so helpful and most importantly you don't ever feel intimated here. I have to give a special mention to trainer Mark, this guy will get you the results you want and keep you smiling at the same time! He always has time for people and is full of knowledge even though me & him don't always agree on what my body is capable of (he's always spot on though to my annoyance) I couldn't recommend the man enough. The gym itself is fabulous, plenty of equipment, loads of free weights, classes for everything and I cant speak highly enough of their cleanliness. Ladies areas are always spotless & so is the gym floor, I've never been in a gym where you can always smell the citrus cleaning products so much! This is a gym for all types of people wanting to train so if you're looking to take your fitness to the next level or just looking for somewhere to start I really wouldn't hesitate to direct you to Fuse Artane.

Fantastic experience: I just did Liam’s spinning class tonight and it was excellent! He introduced aspects of yoga, with emphasis on stretching and breathing during the class. This is an excellent gym, and it’s secret is the amazing quality of its trainers. I’ve enjoyed every class I’ve done.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly friendly and helpful team which creates a really good atmosphere in the gym. I hadn’t been a gym member for a couple of years and decided to give Fuse a try. I booked a batch of PT sessions with Liam and he’s been fantastic. Takes the time to understand your goals, personalise your programme, send texts throughout the weeks and months to check-in and keep you motivated. Importantly, he’s helped me achieve my fitness goals but also educated me on making the most from all my workouts.

Fantastic experience: I'm in my mid-50s and had never set foot in a gym until early Nov last year. I booked some sessions with Liam and have to say I couldn't have been happier. He's incredibly motivating but also super enthusiastic and very patient when needed. I'm now doing solo sessions these days. The gym in Artane is well maintained, always clean - all the staff are very friendly as is the entire customer base. It's a great place to work out!

Positive experience: Gym is not too busy which is great. Machines are decent and staff is very friendly. However it is always baltic in there, especially since the door doesn’t close properly. I am also slightly disappointed that despite the opening hours being at 6am, the doors often don’t open until 5 past. This might seem insignificant but if you only have a limited amount of time in the morning, you want to make use of every minute.

The results have been life changing due to their dedication with me and their other clients. All staff are friendly and can have a good craic with. Always greeted with a smile and hello. The gym equipment is top rate and has everything you need for your days workout. I can only say great things about Fuse as a gym.

Fantastic experience: FUSE Artane is a fantastic place to do a workout! As a beginner gym goer after the original lockdown, it was a bit daunting to go but having gone to Artane, I've discovered a new found love and confidence for physical activity. In my time in Fuse Artane, I've made some great friends with the staff and fellow gym goers as well as being helped to lose 30kg of body weight and tone up. The staff are fantastic and it's clear to see that Mark is turning the place into a real homely space for getting the work done!

Fantastic experience: Joined in July and was waiting a while before I reviewed so I could form my best opinion of the place, I’ve had my share of gym hopping before. Really nice space but I think the classes are it’s biggest asset. There’s been a decent turnover of staff since I’ve joined but I’ve been able to see how the new trainers approach the classes individually - Katelyn in particular is a standout trainer. Friendly environment with all the necessities.

I was put at ease when i met Cathal, my personal trainer, and I haven't looked back since. The group PT sessions with Mark and Gabriele are perfect as you get the personal touch but in a group environment and it's great to see everyone progress. I began by being shown the proper techniques, then made progress every week after that! They are just awesome and work equally as hard to motivate us to achieve our personal goals. Those guys are my favourites now❤️. I heartily recommend it to anyone who is new to working out. Anyone considering joining should simply stop by for a chat and share your goals to the guys; trust me, you won't regret it. It's honestly the best thing I've ever done. I feel like I am part of the family. Recommend to everyone! I genuinely look forward to each session.

Fantastic experience: Returned to Fuse post covid restrictions, attend mostly the early morning & weekend classes. Aaron and Gabriele are very welcoming and supportive. Offering the right amount of encouragement to make you feel like you’ve done a great job. Variety of classes to suit all levels.

Negative experience: How the might have fallen! I have been a member of this gym on an off since 2021. The gym itself is close by which is why I use it but the building, the equipment and the facilities are shocking!! Not to mention they let youngsters train without memberships.. So where do I start regarding the equipment. Firstly, its all old and not state of the art as advertised. The dumb bells are clearly weights acquired from an Energia Gym and there simply isn't enough machines. Secondly the building itself is like an ice box from December to ,March. Finally, the dressing rooms!!...well I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Mold everywhere and holes in the walls. The gym is in need of some urgent TLC or simply closed down. Surprisingly I've been to other Fuse gyms and they are exactly what you would expect but Artane...steer clear I will say this though, the staff are amazing! But sadly under valued and only a matter of time before a new team will be brought in.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Equipment is on point and the staff have always been so helpful and friendly. Can be a bit busy at peak times, but apart from that you'll never have any trouble getting through your workout.

Fantastic experience: I love this place!!! It is never too busy and the trainers are just lovely. I was scared of gyms up until I found this one. It is so relaxed and friendly and definitely doesn't have that pretentious gym vibe. Their classes are fantastic with a great variety to choose from everyday. I couldn't fault it. Still hard at it with fuse! I can't recommend the trainers enough. They are all super friendly yet always manage to still push you. They know exactly what weights you should be using and always bring a bit of fun to their lessons. They are all excellent. They all bring their own dynamic and encourage you to go a little further. 3 years on and still lovin it!

Fantastic experience: I haven't joined a gym yet and have been nervous about the whole process. I went to Fuse Artane yesterday to scope the place out and was given a great tour. The coach gave me so much detail and seemed like he was happy to spend the time with me and give me the information I needed. He did such a great job at making me feel comfortable and easing my anxieties. I cant comment on equipment yet but I would recommend the coaches to beginners!!

Fantastic experience: A great gym The atmosphere is always so pleasant as the staff are so welcoming I found the gym to be super enjoyable as everything is so well organized would definitely recommend fuse Artane to a friend, I joined the gym during the middle of the pandemic and was totally unaware about how to properly use the equipment and what exactly I should be doing as a beginner, luckily for me I met mark a gym instructor/PT and he was so kind and patient with me , he took the time to teach me how to use each piece of equipment correctly and he showed me some exercises and stretches to do so that I could get the most out of my time there , I am now super confident when using the equipment thanks to mark

Fantastic experience: The best part about this gym is the staff! The building is slightly smaller than others but the lads make it work! Mark and the lads have such a smooth ship running and you can sense it when you walk in; coaches are happy, members are having a great time and there’s a buzz about the place. The place is always clean, they’ve all the equipment you could need and great turn outs for classes. Would 100% recommend this gym to anyone whether you’re a beginner, somewhere in the middle or completely experienced. Keep up the great work!

Positive experience: It’s a good gym in the area, good instructors and classes. They’re friendly people and want to get you fit and enjoy the classes. The only thing I can think of is: 1- there could be another morning class instead one of the evening classes for ex 5:20/6:10/7:10 one of those could be 7 or 8 in the morning. Only one class at 6:10 which is pretty early and the next is at 10 and 12 at noon. Or remove the one at 10 so have it at 7 or 8 in the morning, so people can have chance for a morning class. I would avail of the gym more of there was another morning class. It’s so easy to miss the one at 6 am. 2- if the classes not full you don’t get notifications for The cancellation or number of people. 3- the winter time it can be really cold 4- some classes there are number of members creating their own grouping which can make people to feel excluded a bit. These are not complaints but feedback to make Fuse Artane even a better place. There is no contact details nor possibility for feedback on the app so I use Google to reach out! Fantastic experience: I’ve been at fuse since the summer and it is by far one of the best gyms I’ve been at in Dublin. A great atmosphere with amazing staff to guide with machines and workouts. I’ve been working with Grant for the last two/three months and I have seen a significant increase in my strength and knowledge in the gym. For example, before working with grant I lacked much back strength. But after been give a workout program tailored to me personally, I felt a massive improvement in my overall gym capabilities. I would highly recommend Fuse as a gym and Grant as a pt!
