Positive experience: Brand new, high quality equipment, spotless place, helpful and knowledgeable staff and motivated fellow gym goers is what you can expect from Goals Gym Castlebar. You can get your protein and supplements fix in the health shop on site, your physio from Tania’s Bodyworks, you can even buy high quality meat from a local butcher from a newly installed fridge. Gym can be quite cold in the winter, not ideal if you wanted to use the (otherwise well equipped) changing room or the showers. Be mindful - the place closes early on Saturdays and Sundays

Positive experience: Brilliant gym with all the equipment you need and a great atmosphere. Issues that could be improved on: - Condensation all over the gym floor and equipment during very wet weather - Small changing rooms - Classes which take place on the grass turf patch preventing the use of the area for sledding and functional work (main reason I decided to cancel membership)

Fantastic experience: This gym is top class, we are very luck to have a muscle building facility like this in Mayo. Staff are excellent too especially Diamond Mills, she has a way of making you feel part of the gym family.

Fantastic experience: cheap exercise equipment the same music plays dumbbells cheap chinese uncomfortable the director has a good turnover from clients and can’t buy collapsible dumbbells for his gym some trainers of this gym talk bad about their clients behind their backs many people trainers put bad technique to their clientsexercises, not a single trainer in this gym has good shape, and if someone is pumped up, it’s done with anabolic steroids, which are banned in Ireland, which are sold by the same trainers in this gym, and even to underage boys whose parents don’t even know about it for a long time it's timedo a check on the services in this room and change employees, I hope the director of this room will see this message and take action. There is already a review of this room on YouTube on the millionth channel

Fantastic experience: Goals gym is a fantastic gym, friendly helpful staff. The equipment is second to none and the atmosphere is what you want in a gym.. everyone there for their own workout and not taking over machines or making you feel like you're in the way!! I will be back again next year

Fantastic experience: Goals Gym in Castlebar were extremely welcoming from the first day of my membership. The staff are so friendly and helpful in what I can only describe as a very positive and comfortable environment. The gym itself is equipped with top notch quality equipment and no matter what time you go to the gym, you will ALWAYS have machines available! This matters! I couldn't compliment the staff high enough. Their encouraging words alongside their professionalism is second to none. I would highly recommend this gym.

Positive experience: 15 euro day pass,no smith machines,one toilet which is in the one shower room,the wipes for cleaning, whilst a good idea,leave a film of slippery stuff on the barbells/dumbbells ,it's not worth going for a day pass if considering joining. Sorry guys.

Fantastic experience: It’s got absolutely everything you could ask for in a gym, any amount of equipment with a huge variety of weights and machines.

More than one of many of the machines, loads of weights, and a good few benches, so even when it’s busy I’m not stuck waiting on something Plus, even though it’s all in one room, the layout is great, sometimes I feel like I’m being watched in other gyms (purely because machines are facing you) but I don’t feel that here - everyone is doing their own thing and has their own corner
