Welcome to Mum and Baby Sanctuary, where we offer a unique and supportive environment for expectant mothers through pregnancy yoga led by the knowledgeable Aileen. Our classes are much more than just yoga; they are a vital resource for preparing for labor and fostering a strong community. Here are some key aspects of our center:

Fantastic experience: I did Pregnancy Yoga with Aileen from week 16 until the very end of my pregnancy and can’t recommend it enough. It is so much more than a yoga class - Aileen shares so much valuable insight and expertise, and creates such a safe space for the group to share their experiences in pregnancy. I learned so much from her and her classes definitely contributed to a really positive birth for my second baby. Thank you Aileen!
Fantastic experience: I did prenatal yoga with Aileen from 16 weeks until the end of my pregnancy. I highly recommend her class. I felt much more relaxed and got meaningful information to prepare for birth. It also allowed me to maintain a routine and exercice during my pregnancy. Her expertise as a midwife is definitively a plus!! Thank you so much Aileen !!
Fantastic experience: I attended Pregnancy Yoya with Aileen from 22 weeks. It was a great experience and I found it very supportive as this was my first Pregnancy. The way Aileen checks in with everyone and allows for questions and for everyone to share knowledge was an added bonus to learning about movement and breathing techniques. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I attended yoga with Aileen for 2 pregnancies from 14 weeks. The classes are great and Aileen’s experience as a midwife leads to great discussions in the classes. I learnt a lot from Aileen which ultimately helped me during labour and post partum. I would highly recommend these classes!
Fantastic experience: I attended Aileen’s pregnancy yoga classes for T2 and T3 of my pregnancy. It was one of the highlights of my week! It’s so much more than a yoga class. It’s invaluable preparation both mental and physical for labour and also fantastic support for all the ups and downs pregnancy can bring.
Fantastic experience: I attended yoga class with Aileen from week 28 of my pregnancy and enjoyed every week and meeting others! I found Aileen so helpful and knowledgeable and was able to ask questions each week. Her classes were really enjoyable and I enjoyed hearing others stories before getting into the breath work/exercises! The breath work definitely helped for the birth. I felt really relaxed during the classes and would recommend to anyone! Thanks again Aileen!
Fantastic experience: I did Aileen's pregnancy yoga from 20 weeks till I gave birth at 37 weeks. The class has a lovely flow to it, checking in on how everyone is doing followed by gentle yoga. It is a real community group feel to the class, whilst learning about others stories and journeys which has a close knit feel to the group. Aileen is so Knowledgable and makes you feel at ease to ask questions. I really enjoyed going each week, and loved the relaxation at the end with positive affirmations and breathing techniques. 100% recommend this class.
Fantastic experience: This is more than a pregnancy yoga class! As a trained midwife Aileen offers a wealth of knowledge on a weekly basis and has created a wonderful community for women who are expecting. I attended the classes on a weekly basis as a first time mam and learned so much each week hearing about other mam’s experiences coupled with Aileen’s expertise. Having attended the classes I felt prepared and relaxed ahead of the birth of my baby and without a doubt the classes assisted me in having a very positive labour experience.
Fantastic experience: I attended Aileen's pregnancy yoga class and looked forward to it every week. I really enjoyed the yoga but also the chats which gave everyone a chance to share information or ask any questions in a non judgmental atmosphere. Aileen is a very experienced midwife with a wealth of knowledge on so many aspects of pregnancy and birth. Not only did she share her experiences but was so encouraging and positive towards all the women. Each week I learnt something new and left feeling positive and excited about my birth experience ahead. I would highly recommend Aileen & her classes.
Fantastic experience: Aileen’s classes were absolutely fantastic and really helped me prepare for birth. I started from about 16 weeks. Not only was the yoga brilliant but the discussions in class and with guided meditation it prepared me not only physically but emotionally and mentally too. This is a beautiful class. I’m extremely grateful for meeting Aileen & for her guidance and kindness
Fantastic experience: I started yoga class with Aileen from week 20 of my pregnancy. Aileen is so knowledgeable and informative person. Her classes are so enjoyable and a great place to do pregnancy safe yoga. During the yoga class we could chat about our pregnancies and share experiences. Aileen guides you with questions when needed. The yoga class gave me awareness about my body during pregnancy and how I can help myself to recover earlier. Thank you Aileen
Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed Aileen’s pregnancy yoga classes. I learned a nice mixture of yoga, breathing techniques for labour and the phases of labour with Aileen’s experience of being a midwife. I recommend this class wholeheartedly to every pregnant woman as a great relaxing class.
Fantastic experience: I did yoga with Aileen from week 20 of my pregnancy. Aileen was so knowledgeable, informative and helpful during this time. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Aileen’s mum and baby sanctuary yoga. This is more than just yoga. Aileen is an experienced midwife with a wealth of knowledge. Everyone is given time to speak about how their pregnancy is going and how they are feeling. Another important part of class is hearing previous yoga member’s birth stories. Aileen has created a safe space to discuss anything pregnancy/labour/postnatal related. I will miss the classes so much!! Thank you Xx
Fantastic experience: I looked forward to Aileen’s yoga class every week of my pregnancy. It is a beautiful space for women to share knowledge, fears, questions and experiences all with Aileen’s expertise, support and guidance. I was an experienced mammy going to Aileen’s class but I learned so much and felt ready and excited for labour by the end. I would highly recommend this class; I miss it!
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Aileen's pregnancy yoga classes, they were invaluable in helping me enjoy my pregnancy more and helping me through my labour and birth. Aileen is an experienced midwife and yogi, and gives plenty of opportunity for questions and knowledge sharing in the group. Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved attending Aileen’s pregnancy classes and looked forward to them every week. I always felt great and slept well afterwards. I’d definitely recommend the classes for the yoga but also for Aileen’s wealth of knowledge that she passes on every week.
Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend mum and baby sanctuary. I did the pregnancy yoga in lucan for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy. I only wish I had of started the classes as really enjoyed and looked forward to the class every week. Aileen is v knowledgeable and really helpful with any questions or concerns anyone had. She also offers great advice about all aspects of pregnancy. The yoga was great to keep active and aslo relax you too. It was also great to chat to other ladies from the area that are pregnant. Would highly recommend these classes.
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Aileen's pregnancy yoga classes. With her being a qualified midwife the class are structured around what is best for you and baby as well as providing a wealth of knowledge of the different aspects of pregnancy and labour. I truly believe the classes prepared me for birth.
Fantastic experience: Aileen is a brilliant wealth of knowledge, on pregancy and labour. As a trained midwife she's able to have conversations with the group in a safe way. I felt fully prepared for labour, because of the the classes and labour stories from other participants.
Fantastic experience: Aileen is an Angel! Couldn’t recommend this gorgeous antenatal yoga class more. Such a gorgeous environment to be in with other pregnant women sharing experiences and tips along the way. Aileen is a fountain of knowledge and support, no question left unanswered and very honest which is refreshing. I had a renewed confidence going into my second birth because of these classes. I learned breathing techniques that got my baby safely and calmly to me and I will definitely be attending again in future pregnancies. The only downfall is that you can’t keep going after the baby is born, I miss the weekly catch up!
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Aileen's yoga class for any pregnant lady out there. I attended from 15 weeks pregnant right up until I had my baby. As Aileen is also a midwife it was like having my own personal weekly antenatal appointment. Lovely relaxing open environment with other Mammies/Mammies to be, great from a social point of view also. I felt very prepared for my labour from all of Aileen's knowledge. I will definitely be attending in the future if there's anymore babas.
Fantastic experience: Aileen is a natural nuturer. She provides a safe space for expectant mothers teaching yoga, breathing techniques and offering fantastic advice & support. She's a midwife herself and recommends specific moves based on you're ailments. The classes are a true "sanctuary"
Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Aileens Ante Natal yoga classes. I joined at week 14 right up until my 37 week c sec due date. Every week I would be really looking forward to attending. Straight away I felt at ease as Aileens presence is so welcoming and calm. She is invested in how you are each week. You learn so much in the class as She is a qualified midwife and lactation consultant. You learn about birthing positions, feeding breast and formula, yoga poses to help your own personal case. You feel a part of a community as you share your experiences followed by a written update on how one of you did through the birth. I'm so sad that it came to an end after birth but I used a lot of tools and techniques during my pregnancy and birth. Aileen is also great craic. Might just have another baby to join again or equally pop a pillow up my jumper Thanks Aileen for all the continuous support.
Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Aileens pregnancy yoga class, I never did yoga before so there is no expectancy of yoga levels. I found the class very informative from Aileen and also listening to the other ladies stories. The classes are very welcoming each week thank you for helping me along my journey.
Fantastic experience: An invaluable service in my opinion as it is only this time (non-pandemic ) that I realised how much support and information I lacked in preparation for my first pregnancy. These classes with Aileen provide so much support and information from looking after mum, to labour, to breastfeeding and many more topics week in week out. They are invaluable to mums no matter what number birth you are on. I learnt so much and felt more prepared in labour on my second pregnancy and cannot sing the praises of Aileen enough.
Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Aileen’s yoga class enough. It was one of the highlights of each week throughout my whole pregnancy. There is such a positive atmosphere in the class and Aileen passes on so much of her knowledge each week helping us to have healthy pregnancies and to prepare for labour. The social aspect is also great as you get to meet so many other pregnant ladies and share experiences.
Fantastic experience: Aileen's yoga classes are brilliant. I love the layout of her classes. From start to finish you learn so so much. As a midwife, she has lots of experience, and is great with advice. Her classes have helped me to destress, stretch out any aches and pains I felt during the pregnancy, and most importantly helped me get through the labour.
Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed Aileens pregnancy yoga classes. She is a yoga instructor and experienced midwife. Along with yoga, different topics are discussed every week and she is always very reassuring and has plenty of advice for every scenario. It helped me to feel well prepared for my labour and early postpartum days and helped me have a very positive experience. Would recommend to anyone
Fantastic experience: Words cannot express the gratitude I feel towards Aileen’s expert care and support she provided during the beginning of my breastfeeding journey with my son. I can honestly say I would not be successfully breastfeeding my son now if it wasn’t for her help. Having already worked with other lactation consultants and with nothing working I was 100% ready to give up. I’d bought the formula, sterilised the bottles, I WAS DONE! Until I met with Aileen that is. She diagnosed immediately that my son had a bad lip and tongue tie. She advised where I could go to get the ties revised and suggested breastfeeding positions to help with the bad latch. She gave me hope that my breastfeeding journey was not over! 24 hours after getting the ties revised my son was feeding like a champ - feeding quickly and with no pain all thanks to Aileen!
Fantastic experience: I attended yoga classes back in 2018 in Castleknock and I had no doubts I wanted to go back during my second pregnancy too. Aileen managed to create a great atmosphere from home during COVID and I was looking forward to switching my computer on every Wednesday to join her and the rest of the group. Aileen is not only an excellent yoga instructor but also a great midwife that supports and gives her advice during the pregnancy. She goes beyond her role as yoga instructor and it is a great reassurance knowing that she is always there to guide you. I found that yoga really benefit my body during the pregnancy, specially with my back pain. Also, it helps your body and mind to get ready for labour. 100% recommended
Fantastic experience: If it wasn't for Aileen and the pregnancy yoga classes, im really not sure I would have had the amazing pregnancy and birth that I had. Not only did the classes help physically but they also brought an amazing social aspect. It was so lovely to hear of the other ladies experiences while learning something new each week especially in these times of sparse social interaction. Aileen was a such an incredible support when things were not always peachy and gave encouraging words and advice. The breathing techniques from the classes were crucial in giving me the labour I wanted. I cannot recommend Aileen and her classes any higher, great value also and being able to attend these classes in the comfort of your own home made things even easier to attend.
Fantastic experience: Aileen's yoga class was the highlight of my week. It not only ensured I took an hour out of the week just for me, but allowed me meet a lovely supportive group of women which is particularly important during the covid times. Aileen's yoga class helped me so much during my pregnancy and labour. The breathing techniques and yoga positions helped me achieve the positive birthing experience I had hoped for. Her antenatal advice went above and beyond what I expected from a pregnancy yoga class. I can't recommend enough!! Thank you Aileen!
Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed attending Aileen’s prenatal yoga class. Aileen is so personable and knowledgeable. She made time to listen to everyone’s questions and comments and gave great advice. Aileen created a calm relaxing environment for class every week and really helped in preparation for the big day!
Fantastic experience: Aileen is one in a million. Pregnancy yoga is one of my favourite things about being pregnant. She is so supportive and creates such a relaxed and nurturing environment both in class and online. Aileen’s guidance is priceless and meeting and listening to all the other girls is wonderful. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Aileen for pregnancy yoga, the yoga itself was great and very relaxing but the chats with other moms and advice from Aileen before every class provided so much reassurance especially to a first time mom.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed going to pregnancy Pilates. It was great for meeting other mums-to-be, sharing and learning about different pregnancy issues, keeping the body flexible and relieving stiffness or aches. The best thing about it for me was that Aileen is a qualified midwife and was full of very useful information in preparation for the big day.....and she’s lovely.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed Aileen's antenatal pregnancy yoga. It was a great way to meet other expectant mothers in the area, midwife led very informative and loved to get out of the house mid week for me time.
