Negative experience: I know, I know: it's a bowling alley and I shouldn't expect Michelin star-standard food, but when I think about what we were served up at our Athletics Club Christmas party, I feel compelled to share the experience. After the actual bowling (which was fine) our younger members sat down for chicken nuggets and chips. Again, I don't expect too much of these basket-type snacks, but some level edibility would be nice. The chips were cold. Probably heated up a half-hour previously. The "nuggets" were also cold and had a grey colour and cardboard texture. Just disgusting. My son is not particularly fussy when it comes to chips, but he tasted a couple of these and refused to have any more. Seriously, how hard is it to heat (and keep hot) a few chips and pieces of pseudo-chicken? When I pointed this out to the person on the other side of the counter, I was informed that I "was the only person to say that". May I suggest that some staff members would benefit from a bit of Customer Service training. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant - brilliant staff, brilliant service, brilliant facility. We had my little boy's 6th bday party at ALSAA Bowl and it was so fun, so smooth and the staff were so sound - preemptive, pleasant and helpful. Thanks to Sean, Mark, Tadgh (and every one of the staff - didn't get everyone's name. HIGHLY recommend. 15 kids entertained and fed - brilliant

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. It's a shame the swimming pool isnt bigger, but given that most gyms don't have any pool, you can't really complain about that. The equipment is well maintained and the staff are always helpful and willing to give instruction and set you up with a plan to reach your goals

Positive experience: I went bowling here with some friends and I had a good time the sports was on the Tv most of the staff were friendly but not all. The place wasn’t very tidy but overall was a good experience

Positive experience: Coaches in green T-shirt are kinda weird and rude. Other than that we had so much with friends at bowling and we visited the gym aswell where multiple of us had problem (conflict) with the staff in the gym (green shirts)

Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I've had a consistently great experience at ALSAA. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and offer a wide variety of options—from the gym and swimming pool to courts for badminton, squash, and more. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. It's a great place to train, relax, or even just enjoy a coffee after a session. Parking is easy, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it caters to all fitness levels. Highly recommended whether you're a regular athlete or just looking to stay active in a positive environment.

Fantastic experience: Not the most modren place in the world but for 38€ a month for wat you get pool gym ect it is well worth the money

Negative experience: Highly do not recommend worst gym in all of ireland not even clean rude staff try your best to avoid if possible

Negative experience: Lady at the desk was rude. I don't know why. This is a private club. A step above basic hospitality. It was the rotund lady with the short hair. It's nice to be nice. Remember some people are coming here to improve their mental health and don't need to be looked down upon by anyone working in a place where they are a member. Maybe a mystery shopper would shine a light on some staff members ignorant attitudes.

Positive experience: So when I was alot younger and living in Dublin. I got to use the ALSAA facilities on a regular basis playing hockey there, those were the days. I was there recently for my daughters basketball match. I stand to be corrected but it looks like it hasn't changed one bit. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. The place was very clean and nice temperature throughout the building. The only thing I would say it could do with a little updating but from the areas I visited it didn't look shabby just a bit tired. Was great to be back and brought back some fond memories.

Negative experience: Facilities are good. Clubs are good. Parking is a shambles. Thinking of cancelling. They've given half the car park to a car rental company so customers have to drive around for 10 minutes trying to park.

Fantastic experience: Aer Lingus Badminton Club which houses in ALSAA is excellent! there is a game for any skill level from beginners to league players. Though the rest of the facilities might be outdated the hall where badminton is played is perfectly fine, it has 9 courts and you will not be sitting down all night waiting on a game.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic way of spending time with famillly, great selection of dyscipleens. Attend to volleyball, cool people that makes me stay in shape, laugh and relax after hard week. Sweeming pools and pitches.

Fantastic experience: Nice place I was able to use as a guest of the nearby (walkable) Radisson BLU hotel. Used the weight room and the IAAF standard outdoor running track. Excellent for pre-boarding a Transatlantic flight. Also has a pool and basketball and squash courts and more - but I did not use these facilities.

Fantastic experience: Ideal sports centre for me, offering both an indoor running track and fields outdoor to run around. The same for bowls and football. It also has squash, basketball, water suite and a fully equipped gym.

Fantastic experience: Excellent localisation. Cheap and nice, everything you need. A lot of things to do, love this place. Best place for running outside using outdoor track. Green place, you can watch landing airplanes during your training, sometimes even every 3 minutes. There is even pub upstairs. Can't wait to back there and start trenning session

Fantastic experience: We had a lovely family day bowling as a group if 16 we split into three lanes this was no problem and staff helped us sort out everything which was madness with all the small kids! We had an hour and had a great time! The kids were upset to leave but we will be back 100% value for money!

Fantastic experience: I go regularly to the pool. It's great as it's adults only. Nice pool with jets ...sauna, steam & hot tub. Great relaxed vibe. Friendly helpful staff at reception. There are aerobics three morning per week - not sure about weekends or evenings. Well worth the membership cost in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: I used to be a member here years ago and boy has it changed. New people but same decor. Don't get me wrong I like it but it needs a bit of love because it deserves it. My Mum and Dad used to go to the bar as their local and meet up with friends but that was 8a while ago but it too has lost a little of it's mojo. It's a great spot and it should be utilised more as the staff are all lovely. We had a DHL charity event in the Banguet Room and we loved it warts and all. The building is very art deco and reminiscent of the old terminal building and great views of the airplanes landing go on give it a go.

Fantastic experience: They have everything you need. It's cheaper than Ben Dunne gyms or gymplus. You can subscribe monthly. You'll be able to use gym equipment, 4or5 squash room, pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi. The gym equipment may be old, but it is at least it is not too complicate to use and there is no waste of time by searching how it works. The staff is very cool and at your service.

Fantastic experience: This is a brilliant sports complex. Pool. Bowling (I've never tried). Hard running track, lots of grass fields, football, rugby fields also. Dressing rooms are very big. Terrific facility.

Fantastic experience: Visited ALSSA for WMO World Championships..approx 15-20 mins walk from Dublin Airport....not far by taxi... Event was good...can't comment on the other facilities at Alsaa
