The Club at Fitzpatricks

Fantastic experience: Overall, the team here are really making an effort to improve things which is appreciated- the new gym equipment is great, the changing rooms have been upgraded and the walls painted etc. The gym is generally not too busy and has most of what anyone would want. Personally, I wish the lighting was dimmer/a bit less intense, but I know everyone has different preferences. I think if it was a bit darker, like it is in the back room, it would be generally better. Upstairs, there is definitely some room for improvement though- the floors in the changing area tend to get dirty quickly- I suspect it’s a design issue rather than a lack of cleaning but is somewhat frustrating. The ice bath is a fantastic feature, but again, some days it’s ice cold, other days it’s barely cold at all- it would be great if it were consistently colder. The same goes for the showers- often the hot water runs out and it’s tepid. The steam room can also vary greatly by the day. Overall, I enjoy being a member, the staff are always very friendly, and it’s good value for money. I appreciate that things are being constantly improved- so I thought it worth it to jot down my thoughts.

Positive experience: The facilities are great it's a pity the male changing rooms, pool area, steam and sauna are filthy. I have mentioned it to staff, nothing changes. Member of 3 years.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for over 17 years. Over that time improvements to facilities and class structures have been ongoing. I am a huge supporter of what the team does. Membership in FFC is a unique and rewarding experience. Highly recommended.
