Negative experience: Astonishing disrespect and entitlement from their management, it's what you can come to expect these days

Negative experience: The gym itself is actually lovely and modern but the management are dire and so unprofessional. Serious lack of customer respect and support.

Negative experience: The music is FAR TOO LOUD. Please god turn it down. I tried wearing headphones to drown it out but then I needed to turn them up so high that I got a headache.

Positive experience: It's nearly impossible to get a response from requests sent. You will get a response if you want a personal trainer or catch Nicole, other than, one month later. The gym needs a full time contact front of house or to park time and review feedback.

Negative experience: The gym itself is very good - Good range of equipment. I’m frustrated trying to manage my membership though… I tried to cancel my last annual but all my communication attempts were ignored and the staff in the gym don’t deal with membership enquiries. I have since tried to get my card removed so it doesn’t auto-renew but there’s no option to remove your card on their app or website. I sent an enquiry but haven’t received a reply. This erodes trust IMO. I still haven’t got a solution yet.

Fantastic experience: For me personally one of the best gym.amazing equipment,clean and nice staff. I’m actually shocked when I read all those negative comments. I would advice to come and check self, instaed of reading review. I understand that all might have different opinion.im member in and off last few years actually from the beginning and I always was happy there.i would recommend that gym as a best one in the area.cheers

Fantastic experience: After reading a couple of the reviews, I decided to make my own opinion matter. Seen a lot of negative comments about the gym and memberships etc personally I think they are all a you problem . The gym has great equipment which is in good condition, the staff have been very friendly and helpful since the day I started. I highly recommend this gym to beginners and experienced athletes. Best local gym

Positive experience: i got scameed

Negative experience: Unacceptable behaviour on multiple occasions! Incident 1 : I was once given out to for asking manager for assistance (because I interrupted his working out) and he was the only staff present. He even threatened to ban me when literally trying to come to an understanding with him. Incident 2 : I hadn’t been at gym for an entire month (1st of month) due to insufficient funds and tried to rejoin on the 27th, but gym manager wanted to make me pay the entire month I had missed. He accused me of playing dumb with him, trying to avoid paying for my monthly membership. I have heard many similar situations experienced by other members; this is completely unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with reasonable rates for drop in sessions for tourists. Cozy gym with nice natural light, has everything you need to get your pump. Old school friendly environment with plenty of free weights and excellent selection of machines.

Negative experience: Where to begin. Black Rose gym is a fine establishment, if we consider only their facilities and equipment which earn them the singular star. However, the staff, particularly the management team, are inexcusably rude and unhelpful. It is incredibly difficult to cancel a membership with Black Rose. Even after emails, whatsapp texts and dm’s on instagram, myself and friends of mine have found it decidedly difficult to fully cancel it and stop monthly payments. A few of us had similar experiences when trying to terminate membership and payment, we had to contact them on multiple platforms and although they said it was cancelled… the monthly fee continued to be taken from the account. An even worse experience was had when we attempted to address the issue in person, a friend of mine was spoken to angrily and asked to leave, making the whole experience unnecessarily complicated. I would also like the mention the many other reviews describing similar issues with payment and membership. I do not wish to offend or insult anyone by this review but I do believe it is important that people are aware of this behaviour before getting a membership with this gym and I think people should be held accountable for their actions.Hopefully this issue can be resolved for future customers.

Negative experience: Good place and has potential, but there is some stuff that they need to look after. If you have an enquiry, no staff is around or in the reception. The place needs to be cleaned more regularly. The toilets and changing rooms are disgusting, they need to be cleaned, and some machines must be fixed. After all, it's ok , just need someone to manage the place.

Negative experience: Have a website selling gym Vitamins/ Supplements, etc that they claim 'isn't live', but still allowing peoples money be taken anyway instead of taking down the site. 3 months of contacting them and the bank is the only reason i get my money back after having to dispute the charge. Claim to be 'Honest' in their Bio, but that's a lie.

Negative experience: Decided to cancel my membership here as I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping it. I’ve not a bad word to say about the gym facilities itself, really top end equipment. While the website states you can cancel on the app, it doesn’t allow you to stating it can’t be cancelled as it’s a recurring payment. I tried both the app and website login. I wasn’t able to call into the gym in person for a week or so, so sent two emails and two Instagram DMs none of which were answered (all while content was still being posted on the page). When I was finally able to call in I was told it couldn’t be cancelled there and then as they’d “outsourced” all membership and to send an email to another address. I found this ridiculous as you are able to sign up immediately on the website without delay. In the end I got onto my bank to block any further payment as I’d still not heard back regarding the membership cancellation being confirmed. A really disappointing outcome involving what is a great amenity in Skerries. Definitely something they need to improve greatly upon.

Fantastic experience: Black Rose is a fantastic gym. Old, young, experienced or a newbie to gym life will feel at ease here. Ryan & Staff do a great job and place is equipped really well.

Negative experience: Do not be fooled by the people who work here. Who knew that a months membership meant a forever membership until you stop paying? Pathetic staff. Penny pinchers. Incredibly passive aggressive when I requested a refund for the money they were continuously taking from my account without my permission/knowledge. Do not go here. Do not give these scumbags business.
