Fantastic experience: Had a meeting and was early so popped into breakfast room..Gavin the manager came and served me brought me coffee and a scone and the scone was divine!! ( better than mine and fluffy and not dry!!) I was definitely NOT an interruption to his work..and service with a genuine smile!! Thank you Gavin..people like you will want others' to come back as you definitely have gone that extra mile!! First impressions...the ladies at the Reception desk...well now!! Smiles all round and I was not an inconvenience!! Smiles..and concise! Thank you again. xx

Fantastic experience: First I would like to say a huge thank you to Alan and Sharif in the the bar/restaurant for their warm welcome. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and all the staff working there should be proud of the service they give. The room was very pleasant, warm and I have attached some pictures. The reception staff were lovely too. I would highly recommend this hotel. I hope my work allows to return there in the future. Thanks for everything, keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: A great hotel. Staff were all very friendly. The interior is comfortable and well designed. Rooms are nice albeit a bit hot even with the radiator off. Would have no issue staying again or recommending it as a place to stay

Fantastic experience: Very swanky. Pool, steam and hot tub,all fantastic. I went here even though 'my' hotel had facilities, I was told this place was better, and it was. Will return for sure. Didn't stay at this place but I definitely would. I just used the facilities, and they were superb.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic hotel, close to town centre, great spa and pool with first class grub, stayed with my small kids who loved the movie club and the foxy guy who made a few appearances, well worth a visit, great staff and value here

Fantastic experience: Fabulous hotel all staff were first class from the lady at reservations, reception, bar staff etc Spotless room and because it was my birthday there was a bottle of Secco and chocolates in the room when I arrived One tiny complaint was the plastic curtain in the bathroom, would be great if it was a glass screen instead. Fantastic experience: Excellent service, staff and management are so friendly and kind to us. They are good listeners of what food and drink you want and are so kind to their customers. Fantastic experience: We were at the Midlands Park Hotel this January hosting an event. All our delegates commented on how genuinely friendly and gracious every member of staff they encountered were. Comfortable clean rooms, good food at the bar menu and 5* service all the way. If you are looking for a good night's sleep do definitely request a room facing the back of the hotel and not the street as the nearby nightclub was as loud as if in our own bedroom on Saturday night unitl 3:30am. But the next morning when we told management about our sleepless night they graciously and immediately took the night's charge off our bill . Pure class! If you are staying in Portlaoise your stop is definitely the Midlands

Fantastic experience: An amazing hotel,I was in for one night with my kids.. couldn't get over how nice and warm welcoming the hotel was . beautiful foods, and tastiest breakfast I ever had..I been in so much hotel. The only downside is the parking..but that didn't put us off and we will definitely be back again.. everything about the hotel was fantastic it's really good for families and kids. Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic experience: The management and staff were absolutely fantastic. We had a baptism group in and the priest couldn't make the church so the hotel suggested we do the christening there. We ate in the steakhouse and food and service are first-rate. The hotel were so kind and let us use a room for the group. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Just stayed one night in The Midland Park Hotel in Portlaoise. It was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and well appointed rooms. Excellent swimming pool.lovely food and drink. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Sharif (front reception desk) and Mr Moore (Dublin staff member). Both couldn't do enough for us. We were there for a football semi final. By the way we won. Up Kilcoo!!

Fantastic experience: Whilst recent visit was unfortunately as part of family funeral, the Midlands Park meal and get together afterwards was excellant. Food was really good. The main function room is a lovely space. The supervisor / manager on this day was very personable and professional, she was received lots of positive comments from the table.

Fantastic experience: From the time we checked in staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Great food and service in both the Charter bar and the Triog. The great location was an added bonus, would definitely stay again!

Fantastic experience: A really lovely hotel for kids with brilliant pool facilities.. My youngest daughter kicked a glass of water over a socket which tripped everything at 10.30pm and the hotel sorted it in no time. Lovely place.

Fantastic experience: Everything is perfect in this hotel. Customer service is top class . Nina from reception is so lovely, nice and helpful person . Rooms are decorating with taste . Bed are very comfortable. We had dinner and drink at the bar . Bartenders perfect. Food was delicious. I haven't seen kitchen chef but I would like to say ,,Thank you so much for our kings prawns pasta and beef steak with pepper sauce ,, I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Fantastic experience: Hotel is beautiful, 5/5 cleanliness. Staff couldn't be anymore helpful and polite. We stayed in the Kilpatrick bridal suite, what a room absolutely immaculate. Had dinner in kellys steak house, the staff squeezed us on short notice as well we had no booking. Got steak on the stone food was tops. Again staff were well presented great service. We will 100% be back again.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in a suite it was amazing really comfortable bed and fabulous toiletries...the staff are amazing so friendly and professional especially yvonne on the front desk...had dinner in the bar which was lovely and had an amazing spa(cant remember therapists name a lovely blonde grl) looking forward to returning to the lovely hotel!

Fantastic experience: My experience in the midlands was excellent. I was there for Sunday tea. The food was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and attentive. All the necessary precautions were in place and felt at ease. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful hotel, lovely features and decoration, well located in town. Would definitely recommend.. Matress was a bit stiffer than I am used to with international travel but may be a regional thing. Good food in the attached restaurant.

Fantastic experience: Popped in for an early morning coffee, as most other places in town were closed early Sunday morning. The staff were lovely and helpful. The coffee was top quality. And the hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with our stay from the moment we got there. We got a warm welcome from the receptionist and the kids got a goodie bag each. Spacious room with comfy beds. Hotel very clean and well kept. Staff were charming. Breakfast was great. Very good quality produce served. We had our dinner in kellys. Excellent food and service. Fantastic experience: My daughters passport never arrived so see couldn't go on her holidays she was a sad little girl. We decided to book 3 nights in the Midlands Park Hotel she came home a happy little girl. The hotel staff were exceptional kind caring we couldn't have asked for more. The atmosphere food was excellent. The swimming pool staff left a lovely assortment of chocolates in our room that really cheered lara up thanks again guys. I've stayed in alot of hotels there are very few that could match this hotel especially the staff from the management down I sincerely thank for looking after lara and myself. Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel to stay in. The rooms are big very comfortable beds and well appointed. We ate in the steakhouse across the road but its actually part of the hotel . Food was fantastic. The bar in the hotel is very big to and staff very friendly. Definitely worth a stay and I will be back.

Fantastic experience: Stayed for 2 nights for my son’s confirmation,and it did not disappoint. Had a lovely spacious room for me,my partner and three children it was also spotless clean. The staff in the midlands park are the friendliest and most helpful staff we have ever had and with three children this is much appreciated! The restaurant food was beautiful both at breakfast and dinner. Even the staff in the swimming pool will go above and beyond for you. Cannot recommend this hotel enough we will be back real soon special thanks to Susan who made our lads day so special

Fantastic experience: Service was very good from reception to bar. Bar food was very basic. Better experience in steakhouse on second night. I did find my room very cold on first night but a heater was sent up so toastie after that. Second night heat was on.

Fantastic experience: There are so many great things I can say about this hotel I hope I can do it justice, well to start with our son and daughter in law had their wedding here on the 24th of September and all through the planning to the morning after was the wedding was plain sailing, everything was as planned no last minute hiccups or disappointments . From the moment we stepped foot inside the hotel being met at the door and made feel so welcome on this special day, the lay out of the reception room, attention to detail, staff how pleasant and KIND they were to everyone nothing was too much trouble, the meal was exceptional . The suit we had was amazing even at breakfast the next morning the staff were so kind and courteous, we really had a fantastic time and our son and new bride had the wedding of their dreams which in these times means a lot , thank you to ALL the staff in the Midlands Park Hotel for making it a beautiful memory for us all ❤.

Fantastic experience: Was there last week with my elderly dad and children, we were due to stay for two days and ended up staying five because we had such a good time. Everyone extremely friendly, especially Nina on reception, an asset for any hotel, and we had a small problem at the bar but it was sorted immediately by Alan, I think his name was so thank you for that. Also big thanks to Susan on breakfast, a lovely warm friendly woman who had great interaction with the kids.. Food was really lovely and rooms spotless and huge. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: From the first phone call to check out it was excellent. Joyce looked after all my extra needs so well and everyone was so friendly and made our stay so good. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and the atmosphere in the hotel was uplifting and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and highly.recommend this fabulous hotel.

Fantastic experience: Just back from a two night stay, we had a family room, extremely warm but staff got a fan sent up to us. food lovely and great leisure centre. Close to shops cinema etc. Staff very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Just had a full body massage in the Jules Spa with Ines. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I've had many massages throughout Ireland and Europe and this is by far the best massage I've ever got. Also all the girls from the minute you enter the salon couldn't have been more nicer and helpful. Keep up the good work. Thank you x
