Positive experience: Staff are friendly and helpful, by far the better pool in portlaoise. Memberships are not overly expensive either.

Fantastic experience: I joined here almost a year ago and it has quickly become my happy place. Staff are kind and friendly especially the manager Melissa. Gym is always clean and other members are friendly and considerate. Pool area is definitely the best in portlaoise. Natural lighting with a sauna and steam room beside the pool. Always spotless no matter what time you go. Staff members train in the gym so it's easy to ask questions or advice when ur new. Highly recommend

Positive experience: Pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are all great but gym is not up to standards at all. Update - the steam room had been very weak in recent times even though they say it was fixed after it was shut for a bit for maintenance. Does anyone know if it works decently yeat?

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to post a review for some time now. I am about to renew our family membership for the third consecutive year. I want to acknowledge the amazing staff at Club Vitae Portlaoise in particular Christopher, Andrea, Blessing and Reece. Each and everyone of the above mentioned have gone beyond their call of duty and delivered top class customer service to my family and I. Friendly, welcoming, helpful and always good humoured. It’s important to write this review because. unfortunately this type of service is rare nowadays. I cannot recommend Club Vitae Portlaoise highly enough.

Fantastic experience: It's excellent

Negative experience: Disliked the gym. Not clean. Some gym areas have clearly not been cleaned for who knows how long. Locker floor area has also been dirty every time I visited. When I suggested to the staff that the facility could be cleaner & better maintained they just complained that they don't have enough staff. Might be true, might not be, I can't say myself... However, their pool, gym, steam room & sauna are the best in the area. Clean & it seems well looked after. Staff are always positive & happy, which is great. I wish I could have given more stars, although the condition of the gym was just too disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Best swimming pool in town and surroundings. With a happy joyful welcome this place is beautiful! The premise is clean, the water is 1.20 deep and 20m wide , clear and 30 degrees warm with a baby pool to the side . There is a sauna, a steam room and a jacuzzi all decent size for both female and male , accesibile from pool deck. The place is filled with beautiful natural light and many smiles. There is a decent sized gym and a beautiful studio for exercise where fitness classes happen if you are ready for that challenge. I gave it a go! Give a shot and it will exceed expectations. PS: ask for Andreea at the reception for best customer service and specially personalized service . I absolutely recommend this place.

On the down side is a buzz killer when it comes to rules, no diving, no jumping, no running, no acrobatics, wear a swim hat...same like most swimming pools in Ireland... There is a sauna, a steam room and a jacuzzi all decent size for both female and male , accesibile from pool deck. The place is filled with beautiful natural light and many smiles.
